I have been a patient since 1985. Dr. Ling has kept me from having back surgery. My wife would have to help me walk in and an hour of treatment I could walkout on my own. I was able to not only carry on playing golf, Soft ball and horseback riding but a normal life. Thanks to Dr. Ling and his wife for their constant care. I just saw him on a muscle pull that the pain Prevented me from driving. I was able to drive home from the appointment.

Dr Ling helped me quit smoking and at times I was a 3-pack a day smoker. One hour and I was smoke free. That was in 2001. I have since told everyone I know and strangers about him and how marvelous he is. My x-husband, my best friend, my brother in law and sister have all quit smoking thanks to you, Dr Ling. You even drove my sister to the airport when her cab failed to arrive on time.

You do it from the heart and in this crazy world you are a rare find. God bless you always and thank you for helping me, and I know it was you who gave me more years with my family.

Very helpful Doctors, they genuinely want to help people. I was here for my grandmas knee pain, and he was trying to help me with my weight and health. Would recommend! Healed my cousins back, and leg pain, will definitely be coming back for myself next time as I have joint pain as well.

I went to Dr. Ling for a problem with pain in my ankle. This had been going on for 3 months. I visited my primary care doctor, a neurologist, vascular, orthopedic and pain doctors. Had X-rays, MRI, EMC tests all doctors had no answer as to what was wrong except take medication. Dr. Ling said he would get rid of my pain in 3 or 4 visits. After 3 visits I have no more pain, why couldn't 5 doctors figure it out. If you have pain of any sort go see Dr. Ling if you don't live with your pain.

I went to Peking Acupuncture Clinic when I lived in Houston Texas. I was extremely pleased with their incomparable service. Since I have moved, it has been very difficult to find acupuncturists of such high caliber.

Drs. Ling are phenomenal people. My wife and I have been coming to them for issues that we have had with our health. They have provided help to clear our pains, mental stress and other problems. Their treatment lasts and works making our bodies heal themselves and adding to improving our life quality significantly. We believe in acupuncture, but believe even better when Drs. Ling do the treatment, because they truly want to help as many people as possible

A friend highly recommended the Peking Accupuncture clinic so I tried it reluctantly since I had been told by my ENT doctor that nothing could heal my Tinnitus. I went in for my first appointment and the buzzing actually got a little louder after the treatment and then in disbelief I woke up and it was almost totally gone! I am so grateful! I smoked (off and on) for about 18 years. I went to Dr. Ling and I have not smoked for almost 30 years! It was difficult to quit and I had tried all kinds of alternatives. I was SO tired of the burnt clothing, the 1:00am runs to the store and the snide comments by co-workers. The idea of cravings was REALLY bothersome. I went to Dr. Ling and returned for a "booster" and, as they say, the rest is history!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ling. I have sent family and friends over the years and I follow him from office to office as people tell me about their struggles. You have to WANT to QUIT.but he makes the rest easy! Promise! SO WORTH IT! Listen to his words of wisdom also.e.g., "Don't ever touch a cigarette or a pack" or "Don't ride in a car or sit next to someone who smokes as you will have cravings." His tips on relapse are valuable as well and even after years.

I can tell you his words resonate. I went a few years ago to a cigar bar (I didn't smoke) and didn't realize that the smoke permeates into your skin. I get SO sick the next day (naseous, headache) and then had cravings! Can you imagine after all that time?!? So, listen to what he says! I would STRONGLY recommend Dr. Ling.he's amazing and a real character! You will be grateful as I am!

I would like to thank Dr. Ling for opening his practice up even though they were closed due to the increase in Covid cases in the Houston to help me with my lower back issue. Dr. Ling was the first acupuncturist I've ever seen and mid way through his procedure I was able to stand without assistance and walk without pain. Very professional and has a wealth of knowledge.

Before seeing him I was in excruciating pain after lifting a heavy box and my back literally giving out. I am only 30 years old and really never had issues in the past other than maybe sleeping in the wrong position. I can not thank him enough for him opening up his practice when they were closed and also because of his years of expertise I can actually walk, sit, lay down and get up without a shooting debilitating pain.

I found out about Peking Acupuncture through my insurance Devoted Health. Drs Ling helped improve the function of my left knee and as an added benefit after 1 treatment stopped my craving for cigarettes. I Hadnt smoked for a long time but during this pandemic and staying home I was smoking a pack a day because I could. Now I can say I haven't had a desire to smoke at all. I can be around smoke but there is no desire. To start up again. I appreciate their care and concern especially during this pandemic. They are awesome.

Dr. Nancy is a super talented acupuncturist. One of the reasons I visited her clinic was because my husband and I wanted to be parents. I saw her weekly for around 4 or 5 months. I have been dealing with a severe headache for over 2 years following Cervical Spine Surgery. I have been to 8 medical doctors with NO relief. I went to see Dr. T. Ling and after one visit my pain level was reduced by 50%. Each time I have gone to him, my pain level has improved. If not for the 2 month shutdown during the Pandemic, I think I would be pain free.

I was referred to Peking Acupuncture from the Houston VA Medical Center. I was injured and had surgery while on active duty. I worked with my spine doctor and physical therapy and chiropractor with no long lasting results for my low back pain and leg numbness. Starting with the first session with Dr. Ling I was seeing positive results with longer lasting effects.

I am now able to bend, squat and stretch with less pain and better mobility. He is also working on associated problems with my injury and surgery. I was very unsure if acupuncture would help me. Now I am convinced of the positive effects of acupuncture and I thank Dr. Ling for his continued help! Since the last of my VA referral sessions it has been amazing how well I have been managing all my daily activities and getting more sleep without pain after getting the acupuncture therapy for my back and for my leg numbness.

He has offered to help me with my associated health problems that the VA is not able to help that he started before my VA referrals ended. I trust Dr. Ling and will call him to follow-up to get his continued help. I will refer any and all Vets to him for help. Thanks.

I don't know what happen to my previous review but this place is a miraculous haven. $40 for one problem and $80 for two or more. WHAT A BARGAIN! First off, I started going in over a year ago at their old location. The results were immediate and I was impressed but concern the move would change the quality of the service. The new location by Chacho on 610 is so nice and decorated simply and comfortably.

If any thing the practice has gotten better. They have more room and today they used some new equipment on me. What did I have treated? Here's the list: Menopause Stress Weight loss (45 lbs in less than a year) Limpademia Neropathy Allergies Neck pain Knee pain (replacement) Siacatic nerve pain Some needed more than one treatment but all I saw some relief after the first treatment.

And they have included some herbal and natural pressure points therapy too. My favorite thing about this place is that they are passionate about their work and love to educate their patients. Look for their book "Everything you want to know about acupuncture". Dr. Ling and his wife Dr. Nancy Ling are both excellent doctors and educators. They run their own office but will take the time out to explain what they are doing and do write out a statement for my medical FSA. BTW I got their name from my Aetna insurance website.

So I knew the practice was recognized by the professional community. Its best to call ahead for an appointment because they are super busy but always are thorough and never in a rush.

Dr. Nancy Ling provided effective acupuncture treatment for my cluster of symptoms in only two sessions. Her diagnostic techniques are quite traditional and tremendously insightful. The overall atmosphere of the clinic, organized without being pretentious, made me feel I was in trustworthy hands from the beginning.

In 2016, I suffered a labrum tear on my right hip and had a labrum repair surgery in 2017 to fix the tear. After the surgery, I went through six months of physical therapy which gave little results with me still in pain. Throughout all of 2018, I continued being in pain all the time on a scale of 5-8 out of ten with doctors saying not much else can be done for the pain except prescribing pain pills which eventually made me too light headed to the point of discontinuing them.

In 2019, I had enough of the pain and decided to see what was wrong with me again. I went back to the doctor's office who then referred me to an orthopedic doctor. The orthopedic doctor said "the only way to stop the pain is to do a hip replacement surgery." I declined and he said the only alternative was physical therapy and I declined as well. I told him that I wanted acupuncture and he said that it was not "scientifically proven" to reduce pain and not many patients request that, I left his office to go to acupuncture.

After researching numerous acupuncture clinics, I came across Perking Acupuncture. I went ahead and made my first appointment. After three sessions, Dr. Ling brought my pain level to the number of 0 out of ten and made me very pain free. After all this time being in pain I was happy when it came to an end with Dr. Ling. Dr. Ling will eliminate your pain, it worked very well for me and I fully recommend him! I gladly give him 5 stars! I don't feel that I'll need that hip replacement surgery after seeing Dr. Ling!

I have been a patient for 8 or 9 years. Drs. Ling are excellent. I refer people often. They are great.

This was my first experience Acupuncture and it was pretty bad. I went PAC in Feb 2019 for some treatment for inflammation in my neck and shoulder area. I also read that they had some success in treating tinnitus. Dr Ling placed needles in my neck and shoulder area and also next to my ear canal. I was surprised that he also placed electrodes on the needles connected to a little box that looked like a tens machine but looked very old and frankly pretty crappy looking.

The machine didn't work so he brought in another that looked equally bad. The electrodes were connected to the needles and he set the machine to what felt comfortable to me. I could feel slight electrical impulses in the area. A minute after he left the room my shoulder began to jerk uncontrollably as though the current was turned way up. It felt like I was being electrocuted and I hollered out.

By the time Ling came back, the jerking had somehow subsided. I told Ling what happened but he seemed indifferent to my comments. 6 weeks later, I'm convinced that the treatment caused muscle and possibly nerve damage. I have pain that I didn't have before which is constant and need to get it checked out. Also the tinnitus was no help either. I'll end now but there is more. SEJ

My sister recommended Peking to me for smoking cessation. Forty years, a pack a day and I still enjoyed smoking but the downside costs were beginning to add up. I tried to vape my way out of it but only ended up spending a bunch more money with two expensive habits. One hour and less than I was spending on cigarettes in a month's time is what it takes. It's been 6 months and I don't even think about it. I can also assure you that I'm more skeptical than most people you know so this wasn't an easy sell. Do it.

I never visit the prior location, but this one it's pretty fine. The service it's outstanding and Doctors take their time to explain everything to you about the treatment. I am started visit this office because my daughter, which is a dancer had an injury in her right ankle, After the first therapy she started to feel the difference and we return today for a second one, she is no feeling any pain anymore. She is very happy and we are talking about a 15 years old kid. I am really happy with the service, I wish I can give them more stars

I came to Dr. Tiong LIng this past May with a difficult case of stomach gastritis and bloating that had been ongoing for 5 months. I had undergone all the traditional Western treatments with no improvement. I had lost a lot of weight, and could only eat very small portions. Dr. Ling and his wife Nancy have treated me with both acupuncture and moxa heat treatments for the last 4 months and my stomach is 90% improved.

I can eat regular portions of food again, and I have gained some weight back. Dr. LIng is a very caring and answers all your questions patiently. I highly recommend Dr. LIng and Peking Acupuncture! Greg W.

I have received treatments for various conditions for many years: back, neck, knee and elbow. In addition, I have received treatments thyroid, sleep and weight. Most recently, I thought that my hip condition was too severe to benefit from acupuncture, but after only one treatment, the pain was much less. I have now started a series of treatments to reduce my hip condition. Hopefully, I will eliminate the possibility of needing surgery in the future.

I had acupuncture on my wrist and arm yesterday. It was painless and I felt I was in the best hands possible. He and his wife are both former Presidents of Texas Association of Acupuncture. They were trained in China and the US and have Ph. D.'s. I felt immediate relief from the pain in my wrist (possibly carpal tunnel?) I look forward to going back and having acupuncture for weight loss and anxiety.

We met many people there who were there to quit smoking and talked with a couple that had great success quitting smoking, so definitely seek them out for that if you smoke. I would recommend him to my friends and family. I heard about him from a gentleman that just happened to sit beside me by chance. So happy to have found Dr. Ling and his wife. Even thought they could charge more with their success and credentials, we were only charged $80. 5-stars!

I've been for several treatments. The first one I went for a flare up of my Tinnitus, I had a 20% reduction in my symptoms. I've also had treatment for my knee pain, which after the first treatment I was pain free for over 3 weeks! Dr. Ling(s) is very professional and caring, and I couldn't ask for a more competent and experienced acupuncturist! Definitely well worth the investment!

This husband - wife team both are acupuncturists who treated me for allergies, TMJ, menstruation issues, and stress over the past few years and currently low back pain with numbing sensations in the leg. They are honest, knowledgeable, and patient; very committed to helping patients feel better.

Everything thing you read or hear about Peking Acupuncture Clinic is 100% true! I finally decided to try acupuncture after suffering from chronic IBS and lower back pain. It's been over a month and I can testify that my pain has not returned. I seeked treatment from other doctors, only to be placed on medications and surgery, but my symptoms ended up returning. This is definitely the place to seek long term results!

Dr. Ling is the best in his field. You feel as though you're walking into your best friends house when entering his office. All of the staff is friendly and warm and Dr. Ling will have your legs kickin and a flickin if you can't walk. This guy is amazing hands down. If you are unsure then take my advice and go. I originally came to Dr. Ling about 2 yrs ago, for Hormonal issues(Dr. Nancy Ling treated me): Hot flashes, nausea, and cramping (though I do not menstruate). (I received a total of 3 treatments for this, that's what it took for me.) The first one: left me with immediate results that lasted about 3 to 4 months. It was amazing! Then I had to go back, started feeling the same way, that I initially went for.

After the second treatment, I noticed really good results and before long, I realized that 7 to 8 months, had gone by. That's when I called Dr. Ling and made my 3rd and final appointment. I'm very happy and not a bit surprised that this worked for me. As many family members and friends have personally experienced many wonderful results. (Back pain, gone!,H eel pain! gone!,S inus allergies! Greatly minimized! ) I also wanted to ad that, yesterday November 8th, 2017 I came in to see Dr. Ling for Neuropathy/Diabetes two main issues now.

I have been on medication now for 2 yrs/Diabetes and 1 yr for neuropathy. This particular treatment, Im not going to lie, hurts. But Im so desperately looking forward to the results. I do not want to be on medication, forever. We all know the results of medication and long term use of it. Oh, before I forget, when I was on my way out of Dr. Lings office, I met an older gentleman who was a patient of Dr. Tiong Ling over 32 yrs ago.

He told me, back then he came in with the hopes of being able to quit smoking.(That was 32 yrs ago) Since he has referred 10 other family members to come and they too, no longer smoke. ( He said to me: Dr. Ling saved my life! ) His reason for being their that day: Just wanted to drop by and say Hello to the Lings.;0) I sincerely appreciate Dr. Tiong Ling and his wife Dr. Nancy Ling.

I came here for their Smoking Cessation treatment. The acupuncturist was very friendly and proudly showed me the map of origins of his previous clients on the wall. Two other people were here: one apparently had pain when he lifted his arm. It wasn't his first time at this clinic. The other one told me acupuncture was working wonderfully on her chronicite migraines.

I am sure that this smoking cessation works for some people but it did not do anything for me. I felt absolutely nothing. Note on arrival: I couldn't figure out how to get in since the main entrance was closed for renovation: you have to go to the back of the building. I arrived at 10:26 for a 10:30 appointment and it was still closed (supposed to open at 10).
