The love that is shared among all the teachers and students keeps me coming back for more yoga each week. Suzette was so kind to me as I went through my 200-hour yoga teacher training. She was thorough in the educational material and brought in many national teachers for us to learn from. This is a true yoga studio, where kindness and love for each other an our bodies is paramount.

This is a great yoga studio! In addition to top-notch teachers who focus on alignment and healing, the atmosphere is friendly and caring. There is zero attitude. All are made to feel welcome and supported, both personally before and after classes, and on the mat with individualized instruction and modifications. The studio focuses on Iyengar Yoga, a type of classical yoga with a big focus on alignment of the body.
What makes this unique is that there's a lot of individualized help using props and modifications so that you can do each pose in whatever way works best for you. Iyengar also uses a "rope wall" (a wall with loops of ropes suspended from it) to help support you in certain poses so you can get maximum benefit from them (like traction in a Downward Dog) and other stuff that kind of reminds me of Pilates or physical therapy.
In each class, there are usually a few yoga teachers in training doing poses while taking notes, as well as people of all ages, physical abilities, and sizes. Often, there's somebody recovering from a sports injury or somebody working to relieve chronic pain. Each person is treated as an individual with respect, kindness, and expert help from the teachers.
The classes are relaxed but focused, with some small talk and laughter-no stuffiness or show-off atmosphere here at all. The studio is clean and large, with a wall of high windows looking out into trees. Highly recommended!

This isn't your typical yoga studio, people! It's the real deal with instructors that have trained with the yoga greats around the world. I'm currently enrolled in the 200 hour teacher training program and its very flexible with schedules. All body types and yoga levels are welcome, making every class comfortable and relaxing with no judgement - which is so rare with other studios in the area. I've always felt so at ease at the yoga school, and the teachers work with any injuries or limitations, customizing poses and sequences. Plus, all the props - blankets, bolsters, bricks, mats, eye covers - are provided so you can just drop-in and have everything there for you. This studio is such a gem!
