Dr. Getzelman founded GetzWell in 2008 with a passionate commitment to bring pediatric functional medicine to San Francisco. Dr. Glynn loves taking more time with patients and their families and providing personalized care. Dr. Satnick has an expertise in lactation and has specialized in pediatric holistic medicine.
At GetzWell we strive to deliver superlative care and to achieve this goal we have eliminated the red tape by which traditional insurance practices are restricted - we have chosen to work directly with our patients and keep our practice small. Very organized practice. Smart, knowledgeable and well trained staff. Dr. Julia Getzelman is incredible. In a world where many are happy with the status quo, Dr. Getzelman is asking questions and trying to find the real solutions, not just another pill and incorrect diagnosis. My children have several health concerns from Type 1 Diabetes, Hashimotos and attention and focus issues.
There are so many reasons a child might have attention issues, starting at not enough sleep. Dr. Getzelman spends one hour focused on you and your child, getting the full history, instead of just rushing you in and out. Her bed side manner is q 10 out of 10. Down to earth, funny, empathetic and patient. Dr. G is looking for real answers and takes ownership and works daily to make my job as a mother more productive and doable.
Being a mother of children with special health concerns can be so overwhelming. Dr. Getzleman and her staff are very kind, empathetic and do all they can to help. It is easy to get a hold of them too and that is key. We highly recommend this practice and quite literall thank God we found Doctor Getzelman.
