AT THE HOUSTON IYENGAR YOGA STUDIO, we provide serious yoga instruction in a friendly atmosphere. Students of all levels of ability build strength, flexibility, stability and balance, of both body and mind. In the company of other beginners, new students learn step-by-step the basic principles of Iyengar Yoga, laying the foundation by practicing the fundamentals of basic poses. As study continues, students refine their basic poses, and as the body is strengthened and stabilized, more advanced postures are introduced.
