I had an incredible experience treating my TBI with the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Urban Wellness Group. I was treated in the chamber for multiple weeks and noticed a marked difference after just the first week. When I completed my treatment, I was experiencing nearly none of my symptoms from PCS. I went from pain at an 8 or 9 down to a 1! I couldn't recommend this more, truly incredible improvement.

It was my first experience to have the high pressure Oxygen treatment Apr 1st. Staff were friendly. Schedule was fast and easy. Place was clean and nice. I had no issue during treatment. I am still waiting to hear back concerning the Billing status and the insurance coverage.

I BELIEVE I WAS A VICTIM OF MEDICAL FRAUD DUE TO DR. JASON ZABEL'S PREDATORY AND GREEDY BEHAVIOR. *final bill attached I have autism and was hit by a car in spring of 2021 and began searching for low cost medical treatment for recovery. After searching, I found the urban wellness group, where Dr. Zabel profusely assured me that insurance will definitely cover my overall medical expenses and would be happy to help me. Unfortunately, it would appear I was taken advantage of, specifically with upcoding.

According to the bill and medical paperwork such as the chart notes, I apparently received numerous procedures that I was unaware of. I received 8 HBOT treatments (which were poorly supervised and in what appeared to be the staff break room), 12 upper back acupuncture treatments sometimes with or without a heat pad(leaving me shivering) and 2 muscles adjustments sessions lasting 30 mins max (with another doctor who has since left).

Yet my records show that I received way more treatment, such as massage therapies and E-stim treatments. My final bill was $6,624 after a reluctant and "generous" 10% discount. Average cost for acupuncture in Oregon is $90, average HBOT in small medical offices is $350. Average chiropractor session is $250. Which means my bill should've been around an absolute maximum of $5,000.

I barely even saw dr. Zabel during my treatments and really only saw him when he was exclaiming that I need more treatment and even one time becoming verbally upset with me for attempting to cancel a future HBOT appointment. I've also have noticed other reviews with similar experiences to mine. I found this information to be extremely troubling and reached out to dr. zabel for a cost explanation of his services.

However I was unable to receive a logical explanation and then was ignored, unless I called him which I've been heavily advised not to do. So I was either a victim of medical fraud or a victim to Dr. Zabel's extreme pricing model and sub-par services. Though multiple parties including two seperate legal counsel believe I was a victim of medical fraud and I'm inclined to believe them.

I do not recommend going to Urban Wellness. I am a retired physician and received hyperbaric oxygen for nerve pain, on 3 occasions. Jason Zabell appears to be more interested in making money than the wellbeing of his clients. My ears hurt for days after treatment, and I don't think he got the proper training to use his equipment.

Wonderful staff and doctors. They truly care about your well-being and treat you as an individual rather than following one size fits all protocols. Their goal is to get you well, to heal, NOT to keep you on medications forever. Highly recommend this clinic.

I was in real trouble and a lot of pain with my knee when I found dr. Swanson at Urban Wellness and he was able to handle the pain with prolozone therapy that was just fantastic and I've been a devoted client ever since. He is extremely caring and so helpful in every way. I highly recommend him.

Dr Zebel took time to listen and help me. I was scared and uncertain of my future health while during a aggressive round with the Delta- Covid. Age 51 I couldn't take full breaths, terrified, exhausted and 2 months later was battling it still. He was amazing and truly worked to help my body recover. This team is top notch! I highly recommend there care and services.

Thank you! Insurance companies listen up there are actual options to drugs and masking symptoms or creating more side effects. Insurance needs to work to save lives and work with alternative care. Other Countries do it!

Urban Wellness and Dr Zabel, a place to go when you need expert help with any of your health challenges. I did ozone therapy and iron infusions. My veins are a challenge and Dr Zabel did great. It worked and I felt very cared about, safe and In good hands. Cheryl

Dr. Zabell was very helpful in my recovery from both COVID and a concussion. He helped me understand my symptoms, why I felt the way I did, and what I could do to get back to normal. He was very accommodating of my schedule and did a great job of getting me in as soon as possible. You can tell he cares about getting his patients getting well due to the hours he works and the time he takes with each patient. I highly recommend going and seeing him and will recommend the clinic to others when appropriate.

His friendly staff is highly attentive and accommodating, and the office manager, Dominic, made himself available to answer any questions I had. AMAZINGGGGGG I've shopped around for months trying to find the cheapest place for my iron IVs because my insurance stopped covering them, not only was this place by far the cheapest they were so professional and fast and knowledgable! I couldn't be happier they don't even make me take blood labs in between my IV infusions. Love this place! 20 stars!

I started going to Urban Wellness because I wanted to find a naturopathic doctor. Dr. Swanson has been amazing. He has worked with me on everything from back pain, to energy levels and gut health. The thing that makes them truly unique, is the array of therapies the use to keep you healthy. Dr. Zabell has hyperbaric therapies, IV therapies, massage, acupuncture, light therapy, chiropractic, and many other tools for getting you healthy and helping you stay that way. Cant recommend them enough.

I have been treating with Dr. Zurek and Eric for several months now and I had a 5 star experience. I highly recommend Urban Wellness Group, also the place is updated and clean! Dr. Zurek provided excellent, knowledgeable care and answered all my concerns. He was quickly able to identify my issues and work on specific painful areas.

Great oxygen chamber for TBI people! I had been going to another place and not getting the level of oxygen than here. Well worth the money you get real medical grade oxygen.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Allison Schultz and am very impressed. She's extremely knowledgeable, flexible and seemed genuinely interested in my health. I loved that she's seriously into preventative measures.

Been working with urban wellness for a year doing nutrient IVs and so grateful to have an alternative to the hospital setting, the doctors are lovely to work with, comfortable chairs, blankets, and thoughtful staff. Grateful a place like this exists

I love this place! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the practitioners are knowledgable and approachable. The acupuncture with electrical stimulation for my hamstring was great, and Dr. Zabell really took his time to care for and listen to me as a patient. I would definitely recommend this office to those seeking naturopathic or Chinese medicine care.

The Urban Wellness Group has a wonderful group of providers. I am grateful to Dr. Swanson for his quality care that makes me feel like a valued patient. He is very knowledgeable and good at administering the IV nutrient therapy. I always have a peaceful sit in the lounge while I get my infusion. If you have suffered digestive issues, I highly recommend the IV therapy. The clinic has beautiful interiors and is very comfortable. I highly recommend the Urban Wellness Group! Updated post July, 2018. Last week, I completed a set of 5 hyperbaric oxygen treatments and it really helped my energy. I have been suffering from fatigue caused by deficiencies and stress.

During the day at 5pm my energy usually crashes, but after Hyperbaric, I have long sustained energy all day and into the night. I also experienced an overall feeling of calm rather than flutters of anxiety, and noticed my skin looking more youthful. I am writing this a week since the treatments and still feel my energy is strong.

I call urban wellness for an appointment and was told they needed to check on my insurance and would call me back the following week. Not only did they not return my call but when I called 3 times over the next couple weeks I still haven't heard back. What a bummer. I gave them some really personal information and feel completely abandoned.

Great team of practitioners. Dr. Zabell has an awesome bedside manner that makes patients comfortable and relaxed. They offer many natural options for treating pain. I was in a bad car accident that resulted in damage to my knee and a lot of back pain. The massage and acupuncture treatment helped to reduce my pain. Dr. Zabell also referred me to specialists outside of Urban Wellness to ensure that I was getting the necessary treatment.

Everyone in the office is really nice and it was great to have late afternoon appointments to minimize the time I had to take off work. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because they don't offer "traditional" chiropractic adjustments, which I have found to be extremely beneficial for my pain.
