Holiday is a warm light on a cool day. She has a wonderful breadth of knowledge of yoga. I first came to her several years ago after I had suffered a back injury. I was afraid to practice yoga, afraid of re-injury. I knew after the first class that I had come to the right place. Under her guidance, I was able to come back to the practice I love, with a deeper knowledge of how to move with safety and build strength and flexibility.
In fact, after a few years, she encouraged me to teach and so she inspired me directly to pursue my own education and now I am a certified yoga instructor as well. Thank you, Holiday, for changing my life!

Yesterday was my first time attending one of Holiday's yoga classes and I have to say it was one of the best sessions I've ever experienced. Still being an entry level participant, it was wonderful to have her direction and guidance throughout the entirety of the class. Looking forward to enrolling and couldn't recommend highly enough.

First, I'd like to say that Holiday seems like a very experienced teacher who has a lot to offer. I think that many students will benefit from her instruction. My concern is the adjustments that seem to be constant and without her asking the student's permission. I am a trained yoga instructor as well and was taught to always ask. I was also taught that in yoga we honor our bodies and their uniqueness. Forcing a student's body to go deeper can causes injuries, and when constant also interferes with the practice in general and can have emotion effects as well.
Though we receive anatomy as part of our training we are not Doctors. Claiming yoga can help with scoliosis is one thing, , claiming it can correct it is another. There is a wide range of curvature involved as well as other variables. I feel it is important to get to know a student before a teacher along with the student decide what poses are best for their unique body and how these poses can be practiced safely.
