Great place and wonderful staff. Very open minded and professional. This is the only place I go to for acupuncture and cupping.

Just completed 6 sessions of a 1 hour massage therapy every Wednesday paid by my Worker Compensation for a back injury. Megan was very professional and she is very good at her profession. Thank you guys so much for your assistance in this matter.

I have been suffering from neck pain and tigger thumb. Surgery was recommended. One of doctors suggested acupuncture. I was nervous about having needles put in my head and neck. But, it has changed my life! Dr. Lillian Huang is a miracle worker! I don't need a brace to sleep. She knows exactly where I need the focus for my treatment. Jessica and the rest of the office staff are friendly!

I can't say enough about California Acupuncture Center. I've had PT and cortisone shots in my left knee after injuring it 6 months ago and nothing has worked as well as the acupuncture and massage I received at CA Acupuncture Center.

Had my first ever acupuncture and cupping session last week after dealing with excruciating neck pain for a couple of weeks. I worked with Crystal and was so impressed with her honest, professional, and down to earth demeanor. I was very nervous and her calm, friendly, and knowledgeable bedside manner really put me at ease. I'm also very excited and relieved to say my pain has been reduced about 85% and it hasn't even been a full week since my first session.

Crystal is my acupuncturist - I came in with severe low back pain and in a matter of 6 sessions, the spasms, as well as the pin prickly pain was down to a 1-2 on a 10 scale. It's a little tough to get parking in the afternoons, and sometimes they run late, but all in all I am super happy with Crystal and their services. She is a great listener and always takes her time making sure she gets the right pressure points. It's very relaxing there and I always walk away feeling like I'm on my way to 100% healing. Lastly, their bathrooms are big, pretty and clean which is a big plus for me too.

First time and I loved it! I had been dealing with dizziness and headaches for 3 consecutive days and a day after I am back to normal and with more energy. Thanks team! Very helpful staff

When I first made the appointment for my father, honestly I had lots of reservations. They have been referred to many massage therapists in the past and nothing seemed to work. Kathy explained the cause of his discomfort and how massage therapy could help. He had gone to doctors that would put him on muscle relaxers and it affected his day to day life.

What Kathy was able to do for his pain is indescribable. He constantly thanks her for doing so much for him. He had constant pain which interfered with his work and daily life activities. Anyway, I REALLY WANT TO THANK YOU, for improving his quality of life, getting rid of his pain he's had for awhile. I also want to thank-you for giving him hope and getting him off the medications. I understand this is a work in progress, but he finally feels better. We are now sending my mother there as well! Thank you

Dr Lillian is amazing! I'd been feel bleh recently. Life, work, and family stress, couldn't break the cycle. I just felt that my energy was off. I met Dr Lillian who's radiant empathetic personality invited me to seek acupuncture for get out of my rut. I went to the clinic tucked away in down town Hayward. There she did a visual tongue diagnosis (on point) and told me my situation. Wanting to fix it, she did some cupping and some needle point work.

A few days later, I get better than normal. My chi was back on point and I felt better than I had felt in a long time. A pleasant surprise is that my medical insurance covered some of the treatment - yay! This was my first experience with eastern medicine but I highly recommend her clinic to anyone who wants to get healthy and doesn't want trump their body full of chemicals and drugs.

Dr. Lillian Huang is awesome. I have been researching acupuncture for quite some time and have been intrigued. When I made my first appointment, she was very informative based on what my issues were. I was probably sleeping 3.5-4 hrs per night. She assessed me and said she will work on my balance and rejuvenation with cupping. The needles felt like they weren't even there.

I don't know exactly how many she put in but what it did helped me immediately. That night I slept a solid 5.5 hrs. It has been getting better ever since. I went in for a 2nd appt and I will update my review after a couple of days. If you are interested in acupuncture and cupping, dont hesitate & setup an appointment w/ Dr. Huang. You will not disappointed.

Lillian and staff are amazing! If I could give them 10 stars I would. She helped my old rotator cuff injury and tendonitis in my arms when physical therapy and everything else wouldn't. She is so knowledgeable. She could look at my tongue and know that I was stressed! I learned SO MUCH from her with regards to other ailments in my body, even how to take care of my skin!

Eastern medicine is the way to go! Moving out of state has been a bit challenging in finding another acupuncturist. There is no replacement for Lillian! I will definitely schedule a treatment when I am back in the Bay for a visit. The best!

$75 sessions which is a very fair price. All staff and doctors are great and very welcoming. They make me feel very comfortable. Super relaxing and therapeutic. Heat lamp keeps you warm while you meditate with needles inserted. They also do cupping which I also enjoyed. I've used some of the Chinese supplements they sell and found positive results. Highly recommended!

Overall I think it's an okay place, I had the last appointment of the day when I went there and I had the feeling like the lady doctor was in a rush, very impatient, a little bit rough they way I feel treated. I went there to treat pain in my right shoulder. And the only questions I got it was about my insurance. The pain didn't go away and I just feel like I waste my time and $70 to someone impatient, that give me very short answers and literally open the door for me to leave because they were closing. If you ever go there, make sure you have an early appointment so they don't Kick you out or treat you in a hurry, like me.

I have had acupuncture from several other providers but nobody has provided the level of care you will receive at California Acupuncture Center. I first went to Lillian for chronic lower back pain. She has helped me return to high functional mobility and significantly reduced chronic pain. As a healer, Lillian considers your entire body and all of your symptoms.

I have been on powerful drugs for acid re-flux for years. She has prescribed herbs that have reduced the condition and allowed me to stop taking the drugs to manage the condition. The benefits of the acupuncture treatments go beyond my chronic back pain. I have seen notable reduction in my stress levels as well. Lillian is very personable and tailors her treatment to meet both your individual needs and comfort. There should be a six star rating for her!

Chemo, no fun, not easy. Just had my third treatment, had a little naseau, little neuropathy. I started seeing Lillian right before my second treatment. My first treatment, I had a week n a half of nausea, 3 days of neuropathy so bad I could not sleep, headaches, feverish, dizziness for days, no energy. Also, with my third treatment, I only took homeopathic pills.

No prescription drugs! Needless to say, I am sooooooo thankful to Lillian, Crystal, Kelly & staff, for helping me so much. I cant say enough how thankful I am. I just saw a new patient who was recently injured in a serious car accident. While giving her history, my patient spent so much time raving about Dr. Li for curing her severe chronic migraines of 20 plus years. What really impressed my patient as well as myself was that she has not experienced a single headache during the past 10 years and it took only six sessions for Dr. Li to achieve this miraculous results. I first sought acupuncture treatment from the Center in 2012, for back pain and blood pressure issues. At that time, both Lillian and her mother were practicing the old-style methods of Chinese medicine and acupuncture, which are centuries old, and I was lucky to receive treatments from both. My blood pressure became controlled, and I only stopped the treatments because my stepdaughter had become ill.

I recently returned because of a back pain episode that was intense and debilitating; although her mother has since retired, Lillian Huang is at the top of her game! With twice-weekly visits, the pain abated and is gone. Because I have studied Chinese medicine over the years, I understand that if the chi (energy) flow is blocked, the needles will initially be painful.

I have likened treatments to unclogging of pipes, or fixing an electrical short in a circuit; obviously if you have a blockage, when the needles first go you will feel pain but as the blockage in energy is removed by the needles, the pain will also go away! I cannot recommend the California Acupuncture Center enough. For me, it has made a difference in the way I feel and approach everyday tasks.

I recently brought an older friend who has been having TIA (transient ischemic attacks) and who was coming in for the first time with a host of problems. She has become a complete advocate of acupuncture thanks to the excellent work of Lillian and her staff. Pain that she had been dealing with for years is abating. Bravo, bravo, and bravo again!

After a motorcycle accident and a herniated disk, I tried from meditation to physical therapy and chiropractic treatments, nothing worked. Then went to several acupuncturists and they seemed like quacks and obviously didn't help at all. A neighbor, after noticing the pain I was enduring, recommended Dr. Lillian and in desperation I went there and to my surprise, after the first treatment, I felt immensely better.

To make a long story short, after a few treatments, I felt like I haven't felt in years. Almost normal with no pain! I can't thank Dr Lillian enough for taking care of me. Unfortunately, new job, ugly insurance that it would not pay for my acupuncture treatment anymore, so that's the end of my treatments.

Really bad experience here. I've seen several different acupuncturists in the Bay and Lilian was unfortunately the worst. I saw her once for some pain issues and she made it worse. She had a few needles that hurt a lot and when I told her that they really hurt, she said it was normal and did not even try to move them around. I mean, the type of pain that made me cry!

She also did not seem like she wanted to listen to me.really short consultation time. Luckily the treatment only lasted 20 minutes (although other acupuncture sessions with other acupuncturists lasted 30-50 minutes). But - BIG RED FLAG - the front office girl who checked me in and did my paperwork was the one who took my needles out. Was she trained? Did she even wash her hands? Yikes.

When Lilian returned, she stressed that I had to return for 3 sessions that week and the next. I felt like she was more concerned with getting more session fees out of me than really helping me.

Dr. Lilian Huang is absolutely the best! I am seeing her for knee pain (post meniscus surgery last year) she is also treating me for poor circulation and poor metabolism. She is the most conscientious, attentive Practitioner I have had the opportunity to experience! She is quite knowledgeable; engaging and thoroughly concerned about her patients. She is always ready, willing and eager to answer any and all of my questions.

The front office runs quite well with Kelli! I am thoroughly happy with my experience at this office! I am ecstatic that I found Dr. Huang! I was also impressed that they remembered my birthday and even sent a card with a $10.00 off my next appointment. KSM (A Very Satisfied Patient!)

I started seeing Dr. Lillian Huang for depression, insomnia and low level energy. After a few sessions in conjunction with some herbal pills she recommended, I felt balanced and rested. No more crying bouts, stress meltdowns and I was able to sleep. She also treated me for hair loss and as a female, hair is rather important. She advised some homeopathic treatments for my scalp and treated me for a handful of treatments.

The amount of stress I was enduring resulted in alopecia. I saw visible results after a month. I am still seeing Dr. Huang for bilateral hand injuries and have experienced relief and returning hand function. I'm happy that she accepted my worker's comp claim since dealing with worker's comp has been a task in itself. Her office runs smoothly with Kelli her office manager who has helped me on several occasions with worker's comp insurance.

I have always preferred Eastern medicine over the Western approach. I can call and ask Dr. Huang if there is another alternative to what doctors are prescribing for me. She's well versed in her field and is always helpful. She offers alternatives that are important to those that don't want to be medicinally dependent. Occasionally I take the herbal pills for stress, skin disorders even common cold.
