Emerging Energy Acupuncture- Dr. Mary Claire Dilks

Charlotte is soooooooo good. Right way, Charlotte's calm demeanor and comforting voice puts you at ease. I'm pretty sure that being relaxed and at ease is critical to any positive experience. The experience included so much more than I expected (acupuncture, cupping, and some fasciae brush thing that I don't want to even attempt to spell or pronounce). Anyways, I've gone twice now, so that's something.

Mary Claire and her staff are THE ABSOLUTE BEST! She is a gifted acupuncturist and care provider, and I'm incredibly grateful to be one of her patients! I ALWAYS feel significantly better physically, mentally and spiritually whenever I leave. And can't wait to go back! It's amazing how Mary Claire is able to effectively treat such a variety of issues and concerns. Infinitely grateful for Mary Claire and this practice!

My first visit with Sarah Karmarski was absolutely wonderful. I went for arthritic pain and I'm already booked for my next appt. The peace & calm feeling was worth the visit in itself. She also recommended supplements & diet to help with inflammation. I highly recommend her for acupuncture.

Love this place! I have been an acupuncture patient for a few years with Mary Claire Dilks. Over this past year, I had covid, a bad car accident, and entered peri menopause. With so many changes I needed to step up my game and increase my treatments (was going every couple of months, or as needed before this year). As I started going to more treatments, I started to notice how it was affecting me in a good way, and I became even more excited about showing up for my body.

For me it felt like a physical, mental and spiritual treatment. The staff is friendly and there is also a great shop in case you need to add some more healing at home in the form of skincare oils, cbd, vitamins, pain relievers, etc. I am so grateful for the single sauna treatment room! Looking forward to trying out other treatments, especially gua sha!

As always, Dr. Dilks provides amazing care. I leave every appointment feeling better, physically and mentally, armed with information, and sometimes herbs, to continue my wellness journey beyond her office.

This was my very first time getting acupuncture. Although I wasn't nervous Dr. Charlotte would have made me feel at ease if I was. She took her time to get to know me first before anything else. She was sincere in asking about my symptoms and explained what and why she was doing what she was doing. I've never felt so heard and taken care of than I did that day with Dr. Charlotte. I would highly recommend her and Emerging Energy Acupuncture if you are looking to receive acupuncture treatment.

These Ladies are awesome! I learned about them after they helped my friend avoid a hysterectomy with Chinese medicine, lifestyle changes & acupuncture. Her fibroid has shrunk and she is no longer in danger. Sarah has helped me to quickly recover from whiplash, back spasm & shoulder pain after I was rear-ended in July. I now have no pain. My primary doctor was so impressed with how quickly I had healed. When I told her I was going to acupuncture she told me to keep going. I highly recommend them!

I have been seeing Dr. Mary Claire for over 10 years. She is so thorough, kind and understanding. She treats me with respect and compassion, never making my concerns seem trivial. The procedure is never uncomfortable and always makes me feel "on top of my world" when I leave. I have even brought other family members to her for treatment. She is, by far, the best practitioner in this area.

This was my first visit to Emerging Energy, but not my first acupuncture office. The office staff was friendly, the space itself is very welcoming and calming. Dr. King was thorough with my intake form, and I felt totally relaxed during my appointment. Overall, a wonderful experience, highly recommend.

I've been in for multiple sauna sessions at this point and I love the experience every time. Even on a hot and humid day getting sweaty in the infrared space is so nice. The staff makes everything super easy so the sauna is hot when I arrive and I can just hop in and relax when I get there. They even provide a tasty electrolyte packet for post-session hydration so don't forget your water bottle.

So let me just start off by saying this company is great & affective, I had a phone interview & less then 20 min I was scheduled a in person visit. Sarah is the best, she's such a nice person the first day I met her we clicked instantly. My Scoliosis was so painful, doctors gave me medicine that did no help for my body, after one visit of getting treatment at emerging energy acupuncture my body was rejuvenated. I recommend this company to everyone, you will not be disappointed and most importantly your body will feel great!

Absolutely love this place. Not only was my doctor extremely thorough and knowledgeable; she made me feel relaxed and comfortable for my first acupuncture experience!

I had a very bad experience at Emerging Energy. It was my fifth session and up until then everything had gone fine. In that fifth session a needle inserted between my thumb and pointer finger (which before had ached a little sometimes but nothing more) hurt very, very severely. It hurt so badly that I jumped from the pain. In addition to hurting unbelievably at the location of the needle, it sent what felt like a shock down the opposite arm and the leg on the same side.

The Acupuncturist said that "happens sometimes in the fall when energy is at the surface." I said it felt like it had hit a nerve and she said it was not possible in that location. I used various search terms a couple of days later to see if that was severe pain was an occasional issue with Accupuncture. I could find no references to pain of that magnitude or of a feeling of being shocked.

Now I am concerned that she lied and she did something she should not have. I want to warn others, and at least the other members of the practice that this happened. Up until this point I had felt it was safe and a nice place. Now I am afraid to ever get Accupuncture again and worried about lasting consequences from what was done to me. Luckily I feel fine now so hopefully there is no lasting damage.

Dr Karsmarski has spent the honest time to listen and respond appropriately to my symptoms. They performed their due diligence and met my needs. Finding space like this back east is difficult. My insurance company was a separate issue, but the results were worth it 10/10 will go again.

I've always had great success with Dr Mary. From severe back pains during pregnancies to chemotherapy side effects recently. She has helped me manage my nausea with one of her pressure point bracelets & after. suffering from severe post chemo joint pain within a couple sessions I was completely pain free. As an added bonus, she provided a hair growth tincture for my chemo caused Alopecia & within a week I already had hair growth.

My Oncologist couldn't believe his eyes. For the first time since I started chemo over 20 weeks ago I'm finally feeling normal with a huge Thanks to Dr Mary & Emerging Energy Accupuncture.

Dr. Mary Claire has helped me out immensely, and unlike other doctors she really takes her time with helping you. Very nice person, lovely space, relaxing and complimentary tea and ginger snacks!

I've been a patient of Sonja Marge-Barrow's for a few years now. She is wonderful! She really put me at ease about acupuncture. Sonja is extremely professional and caring. She is gentle and takes the time needed with her patients. I didn't know acupuncture could be so relaxing! The space is gorgeous. I've been going to her for general health/well being and I haven't been sick in a long time. I attribute that to her. A bonus-she takes my insurance so all I have to pay is my $30 copay!

My experience with Mary Claire could not have been better. I started acupuncture for the first time following an extended mold exposure at my office and then finding out I was pregnant. I felt generally unwell as a result of the exposure and was in need of a holistic treatment safe during pregnancy, acupuncture seemed like a good idea. Mary Claire gave her undivided attention listening to my complete list of ailments (not a small task at the time) and immediately set about addressing every one.

Within a few weeks of treatment I felt the best I ever had. By the end of my pregnancy all of the mold issues were gone and Marie Claire focused on the baby and delivery. We did treatments for breach positioning, then after my due date passed treatments to to avoid forced induction. I am thrilled to say my beautiful daughter was born in the correct position the following day and in only 3 pushes! I couldn't have asked for a better delivery and am so grateful to Marie Clare!

I am a huge fan of Mary Claire Dilks and Emerging Energy Acupuncture! She tailors a program specific to my needs and I am appreciative of how attentive she has been to ongoing changes in my sleeping patterns, diet and overall health.
