Education / Licensure: Dr. McBride is a graduate of Bastyr University's 4-year Naturopathic Medicine program. She received her undergraduate degree in Radiologic Sciences from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I can truly say that the doctors here at the clinic changed my life and the way that i viewed my health. They are the first providers that i feel like really listened to my needs and concerns. They strive to heal your body as a whole and not just band-aid your symptoms. Switching to natural medicine is the best decision i have ever made. These doctors truly care about their patients and it shows!

Doctor McBride is great! She is kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. I have seen her for some tough issues but she is always professional and easy to talk to, even about sensitive topics. She is a good listener when it comes to patients' concerns. She has found things in my visits that other doctors have missed because she cares and takes the time to listen!

I have had a great experience at N.C.O.H They are friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. It's quite a refreshing change compared to all the traditional doctors I have seen in the past. The doctors took the time to genuinely listen to, and address my concerns. I feel better than I have in years thanks to the wellness plan they designed for me. The knowledge of nutrition and supplementation they have is excellent.
I feel that nutrition is often overlooked in traditional medicine and drugs are perhaps over prescribed to mask symptoms. At N.C.O.H. I believe they want to get to the root cause of symptoms and get the body functioning properly so it can heal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has health concerns or just wants to maintain optimal health going forward.

My family has been patients of Northwest Center for Optimal Health for over 15 years. Our two children received their first Well Child Check Up shortly after birth and have been patients since. I appreciate the quality of care that this clinic provides. This includes listening to the patients needs, offering quality supplements, accommodating us when a same day appointment is requested and follow through with test results.
I am grateful that this clinic is conveniently located within my community. That being said, I would still commute miles to be under their care. First class office staff and medical team. Thank you NWCOH!

I waited for a while before submitting a review because my husband and I wanted to seek care with another practice to confirm what we suspected has been a very unpleasant and unprofessional doctor/patient relationship at NCOH. If you've had tests done there is likely no follow up with outcome. Not even a follow up phone call. If you want results by phone you will be charged for it, for test results?!
If you make an appt it is usually 2 weeks out to get said results. In the meantime, the symptoms persist and in my case were pretty serious, as I have since received a serious diagnosis through another medical professional that wasn't even close to the path the doctor in this practice was taking. This practice is in the business of making money not patient care.
You cannot talk to the doctor about more than one issue at an office visit and are asked to make another appointment to do so. It is not my habit to give reviews, much less bad ones, but to relate to a patient in terms of how much it will cost as opposed to how you can help is sadly becoming the norm in a lot of practices. Our healthcare system, in general, speaks volumes about this very problem. I think we seek the help of a Naturopath because it is assumed more attentive care will be provided. It is not the case here.

Unfortunately our experience was very negative on three separate occasions. First they tried to draw blood on our infant and got blood all over the mom, the baby, the room but couldn't get it in the vial so sent us somewhere else and charged us anyway. We paid it. Secondly, they billed us for an appointment that we "missed" but that we never had scheduled. Lastly, they severely burned our 3 year old with a topical treatment that ate through his skin and left him in immobilizing pain for days. They charged us for it. When we complained they said we couldn't come back.
