Specialized prenatal chiropractic care can enable you to experience the wonders of pregnancy and childbirth without unnecessary and dangerous medical interventions. If you are like a lot of women, you may have a lot of questions about the safety of chiropractic care during pregnancy. It is not only safe but it is highly beneficial to both mom and baby.
The latest research shows that things like, reflux, nursing difficulties, ear infections, colic, and even ADD/ADHD have been linked to problems in the spine that most likely occurred during the birthing process. Restoring the spine to its normal function often helps with these problems. Not only is chiropractic care safe for children, but the pediatric adjustment is MUCH different than one might expect.
Every Month Dr. Gardner hosts LIVE webinars to help chiropractors and chiropractic students enhance their pregnancy practices. All live events are recorded and posted online for extended view. I was suffering from terrible sciatica at 28 weeks pregnant and never did I ever think it could be cured before the baby came. I thought I was destined to be uncomfortable for the rest of my pregnancy. I was recommended to go and see Kiran. I virtually crawled into the room and she took one look at me and could see my body was wrecked! With her magical hands, 45 mins later I walked out the room feeling like a new person. 3 weeks later I had ligament pain in another area (joys of pregnancy) and was told by midwife just to take paracetamol.
I went back to see Kiran- she worked on the ligament and again sorted it. Every single person should go and see her! Best best money spent and she is such a friendly person. A Wonder Woman!

I cannot recommend Dr. Kiran Gill enough - its been a great experience! I started seeing her in my 2nd trimester when I was experiencing lower back pain. After seeing her once, I felt like a new person. I've continued seeing her throughout my pregnancy and am now at 39 weeks. She is very knowledgeable, puts my mind at ease, and my body feels open and prepared for a healthy labour. Very glad to have met her and will definitely continue to see her after baby arrives.

I have been seeing Kiran for the past two and a half years for various back and neck pains and most recently; throughout my second pregnancy. She is completely wonderful and a true expert in her field. The labour for my second baby was infinitely more of a positive experience and so much faster, than with my firstborn and I put this largely down to having seen kiran before this birth.
I didn't see a chiropractor before my first child was born. She has a deep and personable understanding of pre-natal care. Aswell as being an amazing chiropractor, she radiates positivity and joy. She is like sunshine to be around and I always leave her clinic feeling like I'm floating on a cloud; relaxed, positive and un-crumpled!

I've never had any sciatic issues prior to seeing Dr Gill. After an adjustment at around 13 weeks (first time) pregnant, I've been left with constant sciatic pain. I came across Dr Gill while looking for a chiropractor that specialised in pregnancy. During the consultation and recorded on the signed paperwork beforehand I did not identify any lower back issues.
Simply because I've never had any. During the consultation I found her to be pleasant and helpful in suggesting stretches to help with my neck and shoulder pain. Towards the end of the session Dr Gill pressed into my lower back / gluteus. I was advised to ice the area, which I did. However, a day or two later I began suffering from severe pain. Obviously concerned about the baby I rang a friends chiropractor that was based nearby and they suggested it sounded like an adjustment that tripped up the sciatic nerve.
I also called another chiropractor to check this and they said the same. Both independent chiropractors stated due to the pregnancy they only advise physio and no further adjustments. This has left me with a very expensive treatment cost following the session with Dr Gill. While I appreciate her prompt response to my emails of complaint, including the offer of another follow up appointment, I am really shocked.
I did not take up the offer of a follow-up appointment, simply because I am concerned about potentially more issues and possible impact to the baby. I am absolutely devastated and in constant pain as a result. Not to mention out of pocket with the regular physio now required.
