I have listened to [Moving Stillness II] and hope to make it part of my daily routine. It helped me relax with my shingles and gave me strength to do a shopping day out which I haven't felt up to. I think it needs to be marketed as 'alternative medicine' either at doctor's offices or clinics and pain management facilities.
The YogaConnection will be opening again soon with small, limited-number classes. More info up soon! Meanwhile you can still visit our page To Help You Cope for a free Yoga Nidra meditation and some thoughtful readings. We look forward to seeing you in person again when it is safe! Our new site design means information may be in a different place from where you've been used to finding it.
Yoga is an ancient discipline of movement and relaxation. Practiced on a regular basis, Yoga helps to quiet the mind and soothe the body while it improves breath, energy, and flexibility. Classes consist of gentle warm-up stretches and a series of postures called asanas. They follow the natural rhythms of the body synchronizing movement and breathing.
