The focus on alignment, form, and slow calm breathing are fundamentally beneficial to any form of yoga one may practice. If you want to flop your body around carelessly without being given instruction and correction, it's not the place for you. But if you want to grow and learn, meditate through movement, I highly recommend.

The man that owns this studio is an ass. I came here because of a Groupon promo and he refused to accept it because I've purchased a Groupon in June 2017 so he's "losing money." The point of Groupon is to PROMOTE your business. You're not losing money if the person never intended to come without the promo because you charge $20/class.
Because of the Groupon, you would've retained a repeat client. He might've been pissy because we were one minute late, but I specifically asked him before we walked in, "are we too late?" He said we were fine.

If you are looking for Bikram Yoga this is not the place. The instructor is more of a drill Sargent than a Yoga instructor. I have been practicing for almost 4 years and recently moved to Jax Beach. I am use to having an instructor who speaks in a calm manner and relaxes you with instruction so you can go deeper into the pose. It is very difficult to go deeply into a pose when you are being yelled at. Additionally, some of the instructions of how to go into poses is not correct and can cause injury. I will not be going back to this place. This place is bad for Yoga! Yoga is a meditation of mind and body not a boot camp.

Absolutely the best therapy one can do for their body & soul. The instructors & all participants make a new student feel welcomed & comfortable. After the 90 minute hot steamy yoga session, you emerge rejuvenated, physically & mentally. I urge anyone searching for self-improvement to please give Bikram Yoga on Beach Blvd a try.

This was my first time doing Bikram Yoga. The teacher was very nice at the front desk. I had an idea of what this kind of yoga was about but she gladly answered any questions I had. The restroom was nice and clean. They have showers which I didnt use. The yoga room was hot and cozy, smelled real good too! I am pleased with the teacher and the studio in general.
They have good pricing deals too, and that is what this review is about. For me, though, the fixed poses to follow are too slow and dont require a lot of power to perform. I still prefer the traditional yoga that incorporates the primary series for example where I am exhausted after the class and sore for days after. I did love the heat and the sweating in this class cuz it's cold outside!

I bought a groupon deal for 5 sessions for $25 which I believe to be a GREAT deal. However I guess I really needed to do more yoga research because while I've done "hot yoga" before I was not prepared for Bikram. I personally am not a fan of this style of yoga so I only went to 1 of my 5 classes I could've taken. That is not a reflection of the studio, just my personal experience. I really wish I enjoyed it more b/c I loved the space and what they have going on as a studio, but I guess not all yoga experiences are going to be love.
