Knowledgeable and friendly staff who helped my daughter find the perfect pair of ballet slippers and a beautiful outfit for her dance class.

They were extremely helpful and patient in fitting jazz shoes for my daughter for her new adventures in theater. I'm really a dance world neophyte, so it was great to have someone to show us what we needed and willing to answer questions with a positive attitude. I'll be continuing to support this little specialty shop in the future.

Ladies were nice and fast but never asked if my daughter wanted to actually try her shoes on that were on hold. Then we had to wait for someone to become available again instead of the original lady helping us.

We have been visiting BoulderBody for six years, and Amy and her kind and knowledgeable staffers really are the best. We know we'll always be taken care of as soon as we step inside. They have all the staples and a lovely selection of unique leos, workout wear, warm-up gear, and accessories. and their prices are often better than big far-away places online.

Thinking back, Amy fit both my dancers for their first pair of wee little slippers and years later for their first pair of pointe shoes. that's pretty special. Robin and Steph (and Ms Jamie!) have always been amazing too. More recently, my younger daughter had a growth spurt, and all of a sudden the pointe shoes she'd worn no longer worked for her in the next size up. Rebeca had us come in and patiently had my dancer try quite a few pairs until they found *them.* She has worn all the brands and many styles herself, so she knew exactly what my daughter meant when she gave feedback.

They could commiserate and she was determined not to send my dancer home with a pair that just "sort of" worked. Rebeca made it a fun experience, and my daughter will always be grateful the extra care she gave her. It's just another reason we love BoulderBody!

This is an amazing shop! It has excelente service and everyone here is very profesional as well as knowledgeable! I got fitted for pre-pointe shoes here and it was awesome! Every here is also extremely nice!

I went there for the first time with my daughter. The employees were very nice, and they had great costumer service. You can really tell the difference in the quality between Boulder Body wear and different places like Amazon. Great overall experience.

Absolutely amazing people! They are very friendly, helpful, and they prioritize their customers. I highly recommend this place, and I will only shop here for any dance-related items that I need! They have great customer service, and they have created a beautiful community of people that comes to their store. Stephanie (who is the manager I think) is wonderful.

Boulder body wear embosses customer service and the upmost knowledge. I brought my Pointe class in for a fitting and was blown away by the thorough talk they had with my girls and fitting they did for us. Not only did they teach my girls the structure of the pointe shoe but inspected each dancers foot to see which shoe would be best for them. Each one of my girls tried on at least 5 pairs and not one left with the same style.

The prices were reasonable and the fairest I've seen with the customer care you receive. The staff is professional, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend them to any of my fellow studio owners.

I drove all the way from Wheat Ridge on the advise of a friend to purchase dance shoes. I am so glad I did as their selection and price was MUCH better than any of the Denver stores I looked at. Great store and great service

My granddaughter needed some ballet and tap shoes fast, so I looked online for a close store. I simply don't like to buy shoes online.too risky in my book. The lady was very nice to my granddaughter, She helped her get the perfect pairs. When I left I was very happy with my experience as was she. Prices were reasonable. I didn't give a 5 because it really has to be exceptional. Cute stuff

I was looking for tap shoes for my daughter. I looked online and saw several bad reviews but didn't have many options because I needed them quick. I went in and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted kindly, given many options to try and figure out the best shoe for my daughter, The shoes were on sale and at check out I was told I could bring them in and exchange them if they didn't fit my daughter. I will definitely be going back.

We had a great experience with Boulder Body Wear. We needed a very specific pair of dancing shoes, and went in. The staff was very friendly, and gave us a few options to try. Their selection was large enough, and we found the perfect pair. I was impressed by the service, and the variety of clothes and shoes available.

Excellent customer service! Took my daughter today to get her first pair of Pointe shoes, employee Sophie P treated my daughter with care and patience. Sophie was absolutely wonderful. I appreciate that Sophie took time to teach my daughter about the basics of caring for her Pointe shoes and the attention she gave in helping her to choose a pair of shoes that were the most comfortable and an accurate fit. I highly recommend BBW! Sophie, thank you for adding an extra dose of joy to my daughter's special day.

I'm a bit sad that I have to write this review. I came in today to pick up some nude fishnets, and bought them, because this is one of the few places in the state that carries them. My color of nude is "caramel". I asked to see the next darkest shade, taking into account that I was going to be getting a spray tan. They only carry two colors. "Caramel" and black. Like, actual black.

I am sorry that I need to remind you that a nude fishnet made for a white person will not work for a person of color. I'm sorry that I need to remind you that there are little girls and grown women that are amazingly talented dancers that happen to have dark skin. "Carmel" is not "nude" for everyone. I had this conversation with you a few years back and you fixed the problem.

I sent everyone to you for those fishnets that are required for our job. Now, I see you have made it clear that you have a very specific customer base. It now appears as though that's based on personal preference and careful tailoring. Eight years I have purchased from you. Never again. I don't do business with racists.

The staff at Boulder Body Wear are knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter came in for a pointe shoe fitting, and the associate helping her really took the time to make sure she found a shoe style that was the best and most comfortable fit for her feet. I've also gotten some great deals here thanks to their discount program! This is the only dance wear shop in the Boulder area, so I'm glad it's a good one!

They are knowledgeable, kind, and they know exactly what to do! We could not be happier with our experience for our pointe shoe fitting (after two fails elsewhere). Moreover, they are reasonably priced, and without ego. We love this store, and we drove 1.5 hours from Denver to get there. It was worth our time.

Amy, the owner, goes above and beyond to meet your needs. My daughter wears a "Grishko Proflex, " a brand not normally stocked at their store, and yet they were willing to try on other shoes or order the "Proflex" for us. She and her staff are knowledgeable and kind (sans ego). And you do not feel pressure to purchase anything you try on. In addition, their pricing is competitive.

I should mention, we live in South Denver and we travel a long distance for their service and delightful attitude. Moreover, there is great hiking and wonderful restaurants close by. We love Boulder Body Wear!;)

Looked everywhere for dance tennis shoes and they had them! Quick and easy and the sales people were really nice. It is now on 95th and Arapahoe

I love Amy and all of her employees are kind and helpful. I have purchased many different styles of shoes including pointe shoes from her. I highly recommend them for pointe shoe fitting as they have a very good selection and are very experienced at fitting shoes. I had a bad experience from another fitter who fit me in some Russian shoes that didn't fit right but I've always had a good fit with Amy.

My only complaint (hence the 4 vs 5 stars) is that my feet are extremely narrow and they don't carry narrow widths to try on many of their styles of pointe shoes so my options without taking a chance and special ordering are limited. That being said I still love to support this local business whenever possible.

Boulder Body wear is our go to for all things dance. They always take time to let my girls try on shoes and make sure like what they are getting. Their prices for dance shoes are reasonable and competitive with online prices. They have a great selection of dance apparel as well, it is priced a little high but they are high quality. You get what you pay for! Make sure to check out the sale baskets on the floor for some great items. We make the drive from Arvada because it's worth it.

The service in the store is simply "THE BEST". I bought a pair of dance shoes there over a year ago. They went into storage when I moved away for a while and when I returned and tried them on again, one shoe was quite a bit smaller than the other although they were marked the same size. After all of that time, they still took them back and let me pick out another pair. They were curtious, understanding and went above and beyond to help me. They also have the cutest sellection of yoga and streetwear. Couldn't recommend this store more!

I had a very good experience getting ballet shoes fitted. Salesperson brought out two pair to try first and then another few pairs to make sure I had what I wanted. I bought a pair of Bloch split sole canvas slippers and was given a discount for being a student at Colorado Conservatory. The clothes looked very cute but I didn't buy any today. Service was great.

I came in looking for salsa shoes. The attendant (I think her first name started with a K) was really rude. She first asked me if I've ever walked in heels and then showed me a few low heel pairs. I didn't said I didn't like them and she seemed to get offended and asked if I could be more descriptive about my style. I said, simple, black, not sparkly, and she showed me another pair and I still didn't like it.

She then still continued to berate me for not describing exactly what style I would like. I've never bought salsa shoes before, and I'm not a fashion student so. I didn't really know how else to describe! All she could have done was walk me around to see the options. I found a cute pair and got a nice discount for taking classes at Avalon, but I was so close to walking out.

After I decided to get the shoes, she completely ignored me, didn't say thank you for coming in, nothing. The other person working there was friendly, but overall the store really needs to work on their customer service.

You can find not just the cutest fit wear for working out, but they carry the kind of clothing I enjoy wearing. Comfort wear with style!

I wish there was a negative star I could give! No one will believe what we experienced at this store. I took my three daughters there to shop for tap shoes and the female employees assisted us in our selection by bringing out the sizes we asked for, not having the size for one of my daughters. My girls tried on one pair each, the employee brought out only three pair.

Anyway while in the store, my daughter got on line and observed the same exact shoe (brand and style) for $40.00 cheaper. She mentioned it out loud and the employee said "oh I should tell you if you do not purchase the shoes I will have to charge you ten dollar sizing fee" Of course there were no signs stating they had such a fee. I've never heard of such a thing in my shopping life. They made me pay! My husband later said I should have walked out because they could NOT make me pay. He is going to report them to the Boulder District Attorney.

My experience with this place has been fabulous to date. I had my first pointe shoe fitting back in Oct 2012 and was extremely pleased with the service I received. Each time I need a new pair I simply setup an appointment and they check to make sure the fitting my old pair is correct. I've now ordered 3 pairs of shoes from them and will continue to order from them in the future. It nice to have access to a ballet shop that can meet my needs.

Don't ever order online from this place. They don't accept returns and are a total rip off on shipping and when you exchange something for another item of a lesser value that amount isn't credited to your shipping charges. They suck!
