I chose to work with Dr. Mary because of her knowledge of Lyme Disease and approach of treating the whole human. My previous doctor's visits had been short and less than helpful. none had even tested for or mentioned the possibility Lyme and its co-infections. My first visit with Dr. Mary was almost 2 hours long. She looked me in the eyes, asked questions about my mental, physical, emotional health and listened.

I have never felt so cared for by a medical professional. She's an incredible problem solver and looks at all aspects of my health, not just zeroing in on symptoms. I also felt like I was apart of the process because she explained things so well and I had choices in treatments. I am on a journey of healing from Lyme and its co-infections and learning so much more about how to live a healthy and happy lifestyle. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Mary in my corner.

Dr. Shackleton was by far the best doctor I've had in years. She actually sat down and LISTENED to everything that was going on in my body (which I've had multiple doctors and none ever did this). I left the same day with a prescription and in days my body felt the best it's ever have. I'm 24 and haven't felt normal since middle school so this was quite the experience for me. I gave up in doctors, but she definitely put the faith back in me. I finally have my life back now, thank you!

I would give Holistica and their staff 6 stars if i could. I've been battling with autoimmune disease for years and haven't been able to find the detailed care I really needed until met with Jessica Muniz NP. No one has been able to help me until now. I am feeling so much better and feel like I have my life back again. For anyone who knows this feeling, you know this is everything. Jessica is a Godsend. The staff such as Brianne and Devon in IV room are delightful and I always feel so at home and taken care of. I could not recommend this clinic and Jessica more.

Dr. Mary Shackelton is my guide to understanding my body and how to feel better physically and emotionally. She is an attentive listener and is both extremely knowledgeable and effective. I am deeply grateful for her work.

Dr. Shackelton and her crew are great! I've had some odd health issues the past few years and have a past of being in some very poor environments. Dr. Shack digs deeper to get to the core of issues and not just medicate. Highly recommended!

Have been going to Holistica for some supplemental treatments including ear insufflation and sauna. They usually run about half an hr behind for the ears, and I usually work this half hour delay into my schedule but now they cancelled my appointment day of because they don't have a separate room for me? They provided no alternative options for times to come in.

Once during a sauna they provided no towels. I always feel bad for the front desk girl who has to run the desk while doing patient procedural set ups, it makes it feel chaotic and stressful. Overall, disorganized feel and I'm tired of the mess ups. Boulder Holistic is much more on top of it.

Dr Mary helped me get my life back. She combined testing and attentive listening to recommend supplement and diet changes that has made a world of difference. I sleep better, I have more energy and I get less colds. I can't thank her enough.

I came to Holistica Integrative Care after being diagnosed with Chronic Lyme and feeling like I just couldn't quite figure out how to start feeling better. After working with Dr. Shackleton and her incredible IV staff, I have begun to live a normal life again and feel optimistic about taking my treatments to the next level every time I am able to do so. I've been seeing Mary Shackleton for years as a patient and I love their calm, holistic approach to wellness and preventative health. Through working with Mary I've addressed heath concerns, she always listens and provides support every step of the way in what my health needs are. Mary's nurse Jess Hall is also the best of the best. Always available and knowledgeable their staff is so kind, compassionate and the best. If you are looking for a whole body wellness approach to health, I cannot recommend Holistica enough.

Almost 2 years ago, Mary Shackleton saved my life with her thoughtful and measured approach to the treatment of some mysterious, sudden and severe health issues. She was thorough, intuitive, patient and caring at time when I was feeling scared and overwhelmed. Holistic healing is rarely the fastest or easiest route, so I appreciated her commitment and support throughout my journey to get well.

Over the past 6 years, she has also treated my daughter for a variety of health issues (stomach, skin, stress) with consistent success. I have recommended her to everyone I care about who is serious about their personal health and wellness.

Poor experience overall. *Update: The doctor I saw apparently left this practice recently/the practice split into two separate practices. The doctor's rate was $450 an hour - no insurance is excepted. and staff will round up timewise. norm is that you have to be proactive and keep track, to make sure billing is correct. Staff members were honest when mistakes were made. Dr. doesn't respond to emails directly.

I sent maybe two, to her specifically. office staff replies and this allows for gaps in care. Office wouldn't call insurance re bloodwork even to provide their address, risking that I would be billed directly for thousands of dollars of testing when my insurance covers bloodwork. Please know that you will need to call to get test results - they won't necessarily contact you.

Last straw - when I went for a visit to get a protocol - Dr. & staff said they didn't have the results/one of the tests that would influence the protocol which meant another appt to get started. This was after months of testing and appointments. The company that ran the test said they gave Holistica the results several weeks beforehand and the submission dates on the results matched.

That meant another $450 visit just to get started. This time no apology was given, so apparently, this is acceptable to Holistica. I told staff it was unacceptable and that they would be losing me as a patient - response was complete indifference. I found another holistic provider who is equally knowledgeable, whose rate is much, much more reasonable, who emails directly, and who actually cares about her patients. It has made all the difference.

The doctors at Holistica Integrative Care are dedicated, brilliant, intelligent, kind, supportive, curious, caring and attentive. The office is modern, clean, open, easy to get to and park. The techs for blood draws, etc. are well trained, and provide a calm comfortable space for sitting while getting infusion or giving blood. I highly recommend them for all looking for healthcare which has integrity and works!

Care, attention, expertise all deserve 5 stars. Little logistical things make this review a bit less than perfect: the office was tricky to find, Dr. Fox was fully 30 minutes late to begin the appointment, and the price information for all the suggested remedies was hard to find. The office was pleasantly quiet with an array of delicious complimentary teas, and the staff was friendly yet professional.

Most importantly, Dr. Fox demonstrated keen observation, broad knowledge base, and a soothing bedside manner. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a down-to-earth MD with an understanding of holistic and complimentary healing modalities.
