The Gilbert Clinic specializes in acupuncture for relief of neuropathic pain and pain from injuries. Our approach is targeted, specific for each individual, and practiced in a unique, beautiful setting. We help you achieve and maintain optimal movement and functioning, manage stress, and generally improve health. The clinic is located in the heart of Bethesda, MD. Neuropathic pain can come from the peripheral nervous system or neuropathic pain can come from the brain and spinal cord. The pain of peripheral neuropathy might be from diabetic neuropathy or induced from the chemotherapy used to treat cancer.

I highly recommend David! I've never felt so seen and heard and understood. He helps me enormously and importantly: he helps me to help myself. I do my best to take what he embodies and practises away with me and into my life. As a result of seeing David regularly, my life and the lives of those around me, is changing for the better and getting better all the time. In 43yrs David has been the only one to successfully help me to unlock the trauma of my childhood and to bring compassion and healing to myself. He is a gem.

I have been going to acupuncture with David and Vahida for a total of 8 months to treat tinnitus, migraines and pain on two elbows and one wrist. The first session alone cured my migraines for good which was nothing short of spectacular, while the tinnitus (which was very annoying to begin with) vastly decreased within the first two months (50% down by the end of the second month of treatment) and it's now 95% gone - it's so much better now there are times I can barely even hear it and this is happening more and more and I expect it to fully go soon.
I was also given general health advise by these two lovely people which have also helped my general health a lot. Western doctors say tinnitus is incurable - I say they should learn from traditional Chinese medicine, which is far more effective than what passes for medicine in the western world and for a very good reason has been used for thousands of years in the Far East, including on one of the most advanced countries on Earth: Japan.
With my other conditions, one elbow was fully cured within a few months and the other one is also on its way to full recovery (I started treating the latter far later than the first). My wrist which giving me a lot of pain it's already almost fully recovered too after a couple of months of treatment. I feel at home every time I go to see David and Vahida as they are two incredibly nice, knowledgeable, enlightened and warm people who will receive you with open arms and make you feel more than welcome each time. I could not recommend them any more.

Absolutely Brilliant! Been to seen David twice now for accupenture to help with the typical neck / shoulder / back strain problems that occur from repetitive desk work. Have felt soo much better after each session and the releif seemed to last for a good couple of weeks. If you're sitting on the fence I would suggest its Definitely worth a try and Davids great. Good value, personal, friendly and professional service located just outside the centre guildford with parking: brilliant.

Saw me at very short notice with SPD (a pregnancy related pelvic disorder). They were very knowledgeable and understanding of my condition and I felt I was in very safe hands. Appointments were even made available for me at short notice to ensure I could be treated. Cannot recommend The Gilbert Clinic highly enough!
