My wife and I are dedicated to lead a balanced quality lifestyle, that includes daily fitness and CrossFit training. Since moving into the SoCal area a few years ago we searched diligently to find a quality chiropractor who understood the needs and demands of our fitness regiment. Thank God, we found Dr. Jaimie Torromeo! She is not only a highly trained and educated practitioner, her in-depth knowledge and understanding of body alignment, balance and spinal stability have been integral to our overall wellness and recovery!

We are very blessed by her compassion for our health care and thank her and her professional staff in the excellence in all they do. If anyone is serious about their health care and well-being, Dr. Jaimie Torromeo and her staff is a visit that you'll never regret!

Seriously recommend. Every time I come for a visit I take another card, I always give them to my patients (massage therapist), I want to make sure they're getting good treatment elsewhere too! Dhanell is so sweet and she knows what she's talking about. I really love how I feel when I leave.

Dr. Dhanell Azada is a truly remarkable healer. She is proficient and compassionate and very knowledgable about many aspects of health. I have seen her 7 times and she has treated me for a variety of injuries following a car accident. I was in bad shape when I first starting seeing her and after the very first appointment I was able to walk upright!

She has decreased my pain, improved my mobility, and helped to clear my brain (bad concussion). She is trained in several modalities of healing including accupuncture, cupping, herbs, and NAETS (allergy elimination) among others. She was referred to me from one of my clients and I am so glad to have found her! I am a healer myself and a teacher of the healing arts (medical intuition) and I have worked with many healers, including many accupuncturists, and based on my knowledge and experience, I can say that Dr. Azada is a rare find and a truly talented and gifted healer and doctor.

I will be recommending her to all of my clients who need help with injuries, allergies, chronic conditions, and brain health. I will be working with Dr. Azada for another two months while I heal and I am planning to have her work on my bulldog next. I intend to tell everyone about her. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her.

I was feeling pain and discomfort while driving and decided to try this place out for a chiropractic visit. I called before arriving to make sure they take insurance. I was told that they did. After making an appointment, I arrived, only to still have to wait an hour before I was seen. I felt very stiff and the seating in the waiting area is about as comfortable as a bus stop.

Finally a female chiropractor took me into a room to give me an alignment. She placed me on a table that slightly shifted up and down and used a massager that looked like a drill bit on my shoulders and neck. I gained a little relief from the intense drill bit massager, but not much. When I was done, the older asian receptionist told me that they didn't take my insurance after all and charged me a cash price of $135.

She was not very helpful when I asked her questions and told her what my insurance told me which contradicted what she said. She brushed me off and almost seemed to be delighted by the fact that I was paying that much cash and their services given did not provide that value. I have been to many chiropractors before and for that price cash, usually they include X-Rays.

I left feeling worse after coming to this place. The funny thing is that despite this, they are still sending me postcards in the mail "reminding" me to schedule an appointment. No thank you. Never again. I got scammed once. That's enough to learn my lesson. My experience here was not good at all. I will be sticking with the chiropractors who provide relief and value.

Fantastic team of knowledgeable wellness Professionals. Dr Novas is a charm and I look forward to every visit with her. I often come with many aches and pains due to physical strain and all of life's stressors and she seems to have a fix for whatever I throw her way.

Dr. Jaime is amazing, she is the bones whisperer! I ride a motorcycle and my range of motion is increased which makes my ride experience more enjoyable. And my everyday gait feels so much better and relaxed.

Dr. Mark is one of the most gifted doctors and healers I've had the pleasure of seeing! He has compassion for his patients and a philosopher's insight into alternative healing practices! He's one of the main reasons my body hasn't fallen to pieces by now with all the surf injuries. I've been coming to him on and off for 4-5 years now.

I have been a patron-patient of Advanced Wellness for nearly 10 years. Dr. Drew Nystrom is by far the best acupuncturist/Chinese herbalist in LB/OC. He is always ultra-professional in dress and demeanor, always punctual (I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes!). He is attentive and thorough addressing all aspects of health (physical, mental, emotional).

I so appreciate this. He is an excellent listener as well as thorough in providing feedback. I am so appreciative that he always makes time in his busy schedule to call back, and do check ins between appointments-not like some doctors that are impossible to get a hold of. The examining rooms are clean, roomy and quiet. I love that the acupuncture tables are heated so you are always comfortable no matter the weather.

I didn't like other facilities I have visited in the past that felt like an ice box or utilized space heaters to bring up temperature. The facility is well thought out. Easy parking. Bathrooms are clean. There is no hiking up elevators and waiting for hours on a doctor like other facilities. Advanced Wellness is always efficient. Secretarial staff are super friendly and helpful.

I am very happy with the care I get from Dr. Nystrom. Dr. Shuur: Dr. Barbara Shuur has been my chiropractor for years. She is caring, attentive, and gentle. no worries about harsh cracking type adjustments. Dr. Shuur listens and always offers positive feedback and suggestions for correcting posture, exercises etc. I like that Advanced Wellness has supplements, all my Chinese herbal formulas etc.

It is one stop for wellness. Though I have not had appts. with Dr. Rebecca Redmann and Dr. Mark deDuvovay. I know they are awesome as I have friends that have used them for weight loss, allergy relief and chiropractic/physical therapy. I was concerned when Advanced Wellness moved from their Long Beach MarketPlace location, however the new location is easy access, easy parking, and again no waiting.

I highly recommend Advanced Wellness for anyone-super convenient, super professional and a truly loving and caring team that will help you realize radiant health and vitality. Advanced Wellness feels like family. They love what they do and it shows. Check out Dr. Drew, Dr. Barbara, Dr. Mark and Dr. Rebecca! Great team.

Simply the best, most knowledgeable chiropractic and homeopathic clinic there is! Dr. Mark & Dr. Shur are phenomenal - truly gifted and compassionate healers! Massage therapist Chanel, front office Hilde & Aimee are just as wonderful! Wouldn't trust anyone else!
