TERRIBLE! Steven has horrible communication skills. Literally never calls you back, regardless of how many messages you leave on the answering machine. And, if you're lucky, he'll be in office and actually answer the phone. Even then, you're even more lucky if you get an appointment. I have now lost two referrals to this place from my insurance due to his lack of communication.
I wouldn't bother calling or trying to get in here, it's a waste of your time and energy. I would rather leave a big fat zero, but you have to give at least one star in order to write a review. Huge thumbs down for this place, I sure hope there's another acupuncture facility that my insurance will approve of so that I can get taken care of and relieve this chronic pain.

My wife had been suffering from daily migraine level headaches and she could not take narcotic pain relievers because of allergies. After two neurologists, a Primary Care physician and a pain doctor failed to relieve her pain, both of us had lost hope. My wife was prepared to end her life as it was not possible to live with the daily pain. I took her to Steven as a last resort and within twenty minutes he completely took away her headache.
This was the first time in months that she was not suffering. He even gave us pressure points that I could use should her headaches return. Steven gave life back to her and she has been working with new doctors in Phoenix to rid herself completely of the headaches. I also have been receiving treatments for post surgery and rotator cuff tendinitus which he has done very well treating.
I have been able to completely stop my narcotic pain relievers as a result. We have been to many accupunturists in the past and he is by far the best. We are both here because of him.

In August 09 I had a surgery-- a few weeks after, I was still having some pain. I found Alpine acupunture by chance. Another acupunture place in town I was referred to was close at the time. Somehow I found Alpine Acupuncture instead. Steven Foster Wexler, the acuupunturist there has been excellent in any aspect. The first visit consisted of a thorough intake of my sumptoms and past mediical history--I had severe endometriosis, had the histerectomy, and was still having abdominal pain and fatigue.
Through several acupunture treatments I am now finally feeling better, the pain is gone. I say without a doubt Steven is one of the best practitioners of acupunture out there. I had acupunture before done in Utah by an excellent Chinese practitioner for quite a while, yet I also I had sessions somewhere else that were useless. So I believe I know the difference. I recommend him 100% to anyone. Too bad I am not from here and can't continue to have acupunture treatments from him.
