We offer private herbal consultations with Clinical Registered Herbalist Valerie Blankenship, AHG. Our new location has a large classroom, and we are able to host our herbal educational program, Sage Herbal Foundations Program onsite as well as in area gardens. 99% of our tinctures, capsules, teas and herbal oils are formulated and prepared in our on-site lab.All herbs used in the Sage Consulting and Apothecary, Ltd. tinctures and formulas and single tinctures and caps are organically grown, ethically wild harvested herbs or selectively imported under strict standards to assure premium quality and to create the highest quality herbal preparations available.

Sage Consulting & Apothecary offers holistic health consultations and herbal supplements to the men and women of our community as well as all over the world. At the heart of our practice is our huge herbal pharmacy and our unique line of over 100 herbal formulas created by Clinical Herbalist, Valerie Blankenship, with over 28 years experience as an herbal clinician, formulator, medicine maker and educator.
This program is an intensive certification course consisting of 27 exciting herbal classes, providing a rich educational foundation of holistic self care. The program is updated to offer additional classes and an even more enriched and interactive learning experience. We are especially proud of our exceptional faculty, which includes clinical herbalists with over 100 years of combined experience as well as an Associate Professor from UCCS and a teacher with 32 years experience.

She's knows what she's talking about not somebody who's just trying to sell you alcohol in a bottle with coloring. Nor would she tell you whatever you want to hear in order to sell a product she is honest and down to earth and knows her skills very well the price is worth it, don't double guess it. Consultation is the best way to go.

The absolute best! Even when I was young they've been great, now in my 40s they're still great! They're very knowledgeable, respectful to customers & the herbs and know where things come from. Unlike other apothecaries in town, the owner actually is genuine. Plus the staff is clean, friendly and attentive.

Great products and service. I might suggest getting a motion activated sink if you want us to wash our hands before coming in the actual store. If anyone with covid came in and used your sink they would still put their germs on the handles you have to turn off and on. Kind of defeats the purpose as does washing your hands cause you still can't touch anything which makes getting herbs difficult.

First off this place right if the back is a great stop. We went in we greater and asked if we had a lidy or wanted to look around we did both and realized they had more then we realize. The women in this staff is so supportive of eachother and it shows in the friendly vibes they give off. Please visit this place if you you want good herbs and spices. Prices are also some of the best I've seen on my road trip.

This store is an apothecary dream. Lots of selection, everyone is extremely friendly, and the staff is knowledgable. I was hesitant to come by after seeing such low reviews but I honestly feel that this store is a diamond in the rough. I have been very surprised with their selection every time I come in and such fair prices. They are now my "go to" for herbs.

I love this place! They have a wide variety of bulk herbs which are self-serve and may be purchased by the ounce. The staff is always happy to help you locate items and they're friendly and professional. They have great prices on essential oils, smudge bundles and herbs. I've been a customer for more than 15 years and am glad we have such a unique store in the Springs.

Take your time when you when go here, to actually see what all is available. It's a smaller shop but has alot once you really start looking around. I love loose leaf tea; and their selection is great, all their tea blends are organic. Also if you like jojoba oil, almond oil, and other carrier oils for a moisturizer, the prices are great here. I bring the same glass container to use a refill.
I think the carriers are organic as well, which I love to support regardless of price. So go ahead and enjoy this beautiful tea, herb/ oil shop right here in Colorado Springs!
