A little about me, since I'm sure you want to know something about who might be treating you. I always had an interest in medicine and healing, but my earlier life took me in a different direction. I got my master's degree in English literature, received training in teaching English as a foreign language, and got a job overseas which allowed me to travel the world for 9 years.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO STEVE FOR MANY YEARS. HE IS EXCELLENT IN TREATING ALL TYPES OF PAIN, FROM NECK, BACK, FOOT, AND SCIATICA PAIN. HE IS THOROUGH AND DETAILED IN HIS TECHNIQUES. HE KNOWS HIS ACCUPUNCTURE. AN UPDATE ON A RECENT VISIT WITH STEVE. I HAD CONSTANT PAIN IN THE HIP GROIN AREA. AFTER THOROUGH RESEARCH THE POSSIBLE PAIN AREAS. I highly recommend Steve Phillips and his acupuncture services. My family has been seeking his expertise for over 20 years now! He has assisted me personally, in healing from a horrible car accident in 2005 and most recently, after a pretty excruciating tailbone injury sustained during child birth this year. In 2 sessions, I felt so much better. His knowledge and professionalism is just incredible!
My father has come in literally crawling from a back injury and within hours of seeing Steve, he was up and functioning again! I can't recommend Steve and his acupuncture service enough!

Simply the best in my 20-year quest for pain relief. I hurt my back at work and subsequently had multiple surgeries, which didn't really help because my pain level remained high. Western medicine had little to offer other than drug therapy. I have found I consistently get my best pain relief from Steve's acupuncture. His treatments have been more effective than those of others I have tried.

I was having nerve issues that caused my hand and foot to fall asleep and go limp frequently. I went to see Steve, and he spent a lot of time identifying possible causes to make sure he selected the right treatment plan. Each week he assessed my progress to determine if he should adjust the plan. He was clear with me that if I did not improve after 3-4 sessions, I should go see someone else because he did not want to waste my money if he could not figure out the cause of my issues.
I really respected that. That was unnecessary because I improved each week. After 7-8 sessions, we have moved to an "as needed" basis. I will be sure to call Steve if I have any flare ups in the future.

After years of chronic neck pain, I visited Steve Phillips for acupuncture treatment. It took him less than 3 months to heal me; I've had no neck pain since. That was 10 years ago. I have seen him for many other issues over the years and, each time, left his office feeling much better. He has also treated my husband, who was a skeptic before experiencing Steve's healing needles. Having had treatments from other local acupuncturists, I feel confident in saying that Steve is the best in Sacramento by far!

Steve is a down to earth professional with an extensive experience and knowledge of acupuncture. I have seen Steve for a neck injury, which his approach saved me from neck fusion. The acupuncture sessions have helped to decrease the numbness and burning pains in my right arm back to full sensation and pain free. He has also helped me with knee pain to avoid a meniscus surgery. Lately, he has helped to decrease the swelling, impeding, and debilitating pain of gout. After a few sessions, my pain has greatly decreased. I whole heartedly recommend Steve Phillips as a wholistic pain specialist.
