Ok so I thought I was going to get this resolved and so I took my review down. However, my hopes were dashed. The business finally responded to my multiple inquiries about the $350 charged to my card. I have been going through some serious personal crises and missed the multiple charges to my credit card. When I caught them, I called and called the business, leaving multiple messages.

I also emailed repeatedly with no response. When I finally got a response I was told that my account had been charged due to a switch from in-person classes to online and that they had sent out an email about this. I did not receive this email about the recurring charge. Honestly, given how terrible things have been for me the past few months, I was hoping for a refund.

But I agreed to take a credit. Yet, the follow up email informed me that I wouldn't have even get that. It just said that my subscription was cancelled. This is not acceptable and no one is responding to my repeated attempts to ask why no credit is being given. I reported this business to the BBB. It's too bad, cause I've been a client for years. I no longer want a credit with them now. I just want a refund. I don't appreciate how I've been treated. Hope this doesn't happen to you.

If yoga is about positive energy, you will avoid the shorty native Jo parsons Engle. I took Jo parsons Engles class at urban yoga spa around 2012-2014. I took class at shakti Ballard ( permanently closed lol). The devil shorty native jo Parsons Engle manipulates her brain dysfunction meth addict sister Cassandra Leigh Mitchell put an innocent Taiwanese girl in jail after they took $12500 from this innocent Taiwanese girl! You will definitely know to be away this devil native for your good health and well-being!

This is one of the best yoga studio in town! Awesome instructors, very clean and tidy facility, peaceful environment with big room and large windows, and there are many different levels of classes to choose from so there is one that's right for you.

Shakti has become my go-to yoga place when I travel to Bellevue for work! It's a convenient location on Main Street in downtown Bellevue and takes ClassPass. I usually go to the level 2 baptiste power vinyasa. I do yoga at least once a week and find this class challenging and at the right pace for my preferences. Deb's class is my favorite, but I've enjoyed all the instructors I've worked with.

The studio is spacious and I've always had plenty of room in the morning classes. It does not have mirrors, like most yoga studios I've visited, but that's the biggest difference. Looking forward to my next class!

I've been coming here on and off since I was in high school and my practice has only grown over the years. I enjoy the classes and wonderful instructors. The techniques and Baptiste practice taught here is just one of my favorites! I've tried different Yoga studios and practices from Hot Yoga to Vinyasa Yoga and this place has always been by far my ultimate go to place.

I love the consistency in the quality of instructors, the personal touch with the assit's, the Vinyasa flows with variations and the cute little studio itself. I love the refreshing and energizing feeling I get after attending a class. I know 1-1.5hr class might sound like a lot but it goes by really fast. There are no mirrors and no clocks in the studio so you get to focus on yourself, your breathing which I love.

Also if you're worried about the heat its definitely not Hot Yoga but some classes can range from 80-100 degrees and helps you sweat out the toxins. The level 1 classes are definitely more slow paced and they take time to show you the different poses and walk through them a lot more. Level 1.5 and beyond just flow through your practice and go at a relaxed pace with the instructors demonstrating the different poses.

It has gotten pricey over the years with being in Downtown Bellevue but they do offer a student discount and I believe 10% off for Microsoft Prime holders. Plenty of parking in the apartment garage right behind the studio with clearly labeled parking specific for the Yoga studio. There are also a few Main Place Parking spots right outside the garage that people filter out of pretty quickly.

Never had a problem finding parking. You can also park at the CVS parking area which is free for 1-2hrs and its like a 2min walk to the studio. Water fountain is located right outside in the hallway. This is a small studio with only one room but the experience is just wonderful and rewarding. They don't offer lockers but having cubbies to store your items.

I've never had a problem leaving my stuff out and I have been coming for years. They have 2 showers and 2 bathroom stalls which can get a little crowded with the back to back classes. Overall, I recommend trying some classes here! There new student package is amazing!

I purchased a unlimited new student special in 30 days. I living super close from the studio, so I decided give it a try. From now I tried Zak and Lisa, and Susan's classes, so far so good. They are so patient and detail came to correct me several poses. The studio is so neat, even the front desk receptionist are super friendly, they even could memorize my name in the second time saw me entered the front door, really make me feel comfortable.

Will buy the membership for sure. BTW: At the first class the only thing to bother me was the temperature, I never took any hot yoga classes, or higher than room temperature classes. But after several classes, I got used to the temperature.

I love these classes. I do class pass which is 41$ a month and I go to one to two class a week at Shakti. I attend the 1.5 power vinyasa classes. They are a great balance of workout, making you sweat, elevating your heart-rate and stress release.

I so wanted to love this place. but after a year or so the love and spark just never happened for me. I liked the space, the light in the studio, most of the instructors, and the awesome clothes/accessories that they sell but there is no real soul or community to this place. Even when trying to plug into a few groups and taking multiple workshops, I felt like making money, selling things (like essential oils or juices), and teaching a set mindset or a list of "rules" were the core objectives for this studio.

Building community and helping people grow was far down the list of "nice to haves" (by no means requirements). This approach is likely lucrative and resonates for those looking for a gym-like experience with a chill atmosphere. For me, and those looking for a thriving/dynamic yoga studio - I'd look elsewhere.

Finished 3 classes so far and I simply love the environment, techniques, attention and constant reminder to breathe. They seem to know their job and all trainers have a pleasant face with a ever-fading smile on. I am thrilled to have found this place. They have a new student special offer on and I opted for that package.

I love Lisa: her wisdom and knowledge pervade every class you'll take here as she demands excellence from her teaching staff. The studio is warm, immaculate, and smells good. The business is efficient and well run.

I really love this studio and have used many studios in the past in various cities. The community and teachers are warm, welcoming, and very qualified. It's one of the first studios where I trust the teachers to adjust my poses, given their training and rigor. The facilities are clean, bright, and comfortable. Thanks to the Shakti Vinyasa East team!

I have mixed opinion about this yoga place. Some instructors are great but some aren't so much. If you are looking for practicing yoga breath and mindfulness, this place maybe good but if you want to focus on the move which let you burn more calories, this place isn't for you. First of all, this is semi hot yoga but not hot enough compared to other infrared hot yoga.

Second of all, many instructors let you rest on the mattress for the last 10-15 min. I would rather do more yoga practice till end of sessions. Facility isn't bad. Relatively roomy and clean.

Great hour long vinyasa class with a heated room of about 90 degrees and a wonderful, happy instructor who made the class very enjoyable. Great front desk staff and cute clothing available for purchase as well. First time here and will definitely be coming back.

I'm looking forward to attending more classes here to experience the diversity among instructors and give more than three stars. I signed up for the All Levels Baptise class, thinking I'd do fine since I've attended many other baptise classes at other studios. -Parking is terrible, so get there early. -They don't offer a water station inside, so fill up down the hall at the water fountain WITH your shoes on before going in. -No lockers, only cubby holes. -The women's changing room is TINY.

This felt a lot hotter than the other classes I've been to, so I wouldn't advise a beginner to start their practice here. Although some of the other yogi's in class mentioned how technically sound the new instructor was, I didn't feel supported and a lot of poses felt rushed. She did disclaimer at the beginning that we should listen to our bodies and only do what feels right, but I still would've appreciated if the class was based on beginner poses, with modifications mentioned for advanced.rather than the opposite.

Love this place! The studio is very warm and inviting. Everyone has been super friendly and personable. They supply blocks and straps. The studio is spacious and bright with natural light coming in from the many windows. There are no mirrors so you can focus on your practice. There is a women's locker room (probably mens too?) with bathrooms, coat hooks, and cubbies to store your stuff. No parking lot, but street parking isn't too bad if you're coming for a mid-day class.

I've been attending sessions at this location fairly regularly for about a year and a half. The first time I attended I felt it was too hot (they keep it in the 80's), and almost didn't return, but my husband encouraged me to give it at least one more shot. After the second class everything just clicked for me and I've been a devoted fan ever since.

This wonderful yoga studio has become part of my comfort zone. I've consistently been blown away by the incredible friendliness and enthusiasm of the entire staff. In particular, I greatly enjoy being greeted by Milly when I arrive, and interacting with Josh and Zack, the teachers whose classes I most regularly attend. Each of these people has become an important part of my week. Josh and Zack are compassionate, engaged teachers, whose enthusiasm for life and yoga is infectious. I've also enjoyed classes taught by Evi, Amy, Mariko, and Tina. Really, you just can't go wrong with this yoga studio.

The room is large and beautiful, with wide open windows so the sun pours in and bounces off the bright orange walls! It truly is a gorgeous space. The environment is nice to, it often gets nice and sweaty but the air moves quite nicely and it never seems to be much warmer than 90. The classes vary from instructor to instructor which I love! Each teacher seems to bring their own energy and style which keeps things fresh and exciting.

The intro series is consistently fabulous, great energy and its so fun. For more athletic people there are also some very challenging classes here, with arm balancing and all that fun fancy stuff so for a yoga membership you really get it all here. They even have visiting celebrity yoga teachers from time to time. I love that the managers take the time to learn your name too. The morning manager, Jen seems to know just about everyone's name and is an awesome lady!
