Both trained for 11 years in a full-time MD and PhD Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Program in China. They are chief physicians in the field of gynecology and internal medicine. They are teaching professors and train prospective acupuncturists in the US at acupuncture schools in NYC.They maintain a private clinical practice in New York City and Hicksville Long Island. Dr. Yang and Dr. Liu have over 35 years of clinical experience in the US, Norway, Sweden, South Korea, Brazil, Greece and China Hospitals.

A. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine are healing modalities with a history of over 5,000 years. Acupuncture & herbs have been used in the USA for the past twenty years to treat a variety of chronic and acute ailments. Acupuncture involves the use of very fine, sterile and disposable needles into energetic points on the body which stimulate a healing energy flow in the body to assist in the healing process.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine all pain is due the blockage of the flow of blood, acupuncture can remove the blockage and increase the blood flow and eliminate the root cause of the pain. For most of acute pain, acupuncture relives pain in about five minutes, this is much quicker than most pain killers.

Dr. Yang is very professional and patient centered. The acupuncture needles were painless, and I was able to relax with the needles on. The office is very clean and quiet. There are more than 6 examining rooms available, and I was able see Dr. Yang at the appointment time without waiting. The initial visit cost is reasonable and it included the acupuncture session. Overall, it was a good experience even though I don't like the needles.
