Precision Chiropractic Services is unique in Owatonna because I am the only chiropractor that practices the Gonstead Technique. The Gonstead Technique is a method of chiropractic care that focuses on identifying the precise musculoskeletal problems that are causing your health issues. These problems commonly involve the discs which are sandwiched between the bones in your spine, but they may also involve the joints of the upper neck, pelvis, and extremities (shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, ankle, etc.). The discs individually act as ball bearings and collectively make up the shock absorbing suspension system of the spinal curves. Injury to the discs can have serious consequences. The Gonstead Technique utilizes observation, static palpation, motion palpation, full spine x-rays, instrumentation, and various tables, including a knee chest table, to deliver healing adjustments to the exact areas that need them, leaving uninjured areas alone. This precise approach is what has given my patients success in healing from conditions they were previously told they would just have to live with.I've been able to help patients with a variety of unique health challenges. The most common cases I see are those that involve neck pain, mid back pain, and low back pain from previous injuries. I also have had great success with jaw pain, also known as TMJ or temporomandibular joint pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain, knee pain, ankle pain, headache, and migraine, as well as pregnancy related issues. Gonstead Chiropractors also accept patients that have organic conditions that involve the thyroid, kidney, stomach, digestive system, and reproductive system. Chiropractic care has been shown to help various organic conditions in certain cases. Individual results will vary in all cases.

I found my guy! I've tried many different chiropractors over the years and haven't always had the best luck. That all changed with Dr. Burnham. He knows his stuff on a different level and is a cool dude too. Honestly there is no reason to bother with any other chiropractic service. Its super easy to set up an appointment and its very affordable. So quit messing around, grow the heck up and go see Dr. Burnham.

After falling on the ice, and hurting my elbow, I knew I needed to something. I had never been to a chiropractor before, however, after researching different chiropractors in the area, I found Dr. Burnham specialized the Gonstead Method, which I had heard great things about. I was very impressed Dr. Burnham asked me to come in right away. He was very thorough in explaining the x-rays and what areas were out in my spine.
As we were getting my elbow back into place to where it was not giving out, he also adjusted other parts of my body I didn’t even know were out of place. My lower back issues were also gone. He is very knowable in his practice and will explain everything he is doing and why he is doing it. He has a great personality that just makes a person feel welcomed. I highly recommend him for your aches and pains.

Last fall, I was experiencing shooting pain down my left leg. I was thinking it would go away on its own in a day or two, but it didn’t. Then a day prior to leaving for a multi-day drive it got worst. I called Precision Chiropractic and Dr. Burnham got me in that afternoon. He took X-rays and identified the cause. After the adjustment, the pain was gone.
He told me to call him if it flared up while we were out of town. That way he could find a chiropractor for me to visit while on the road. Thankfully, it didn’t flare up. Partially due to his recommendation to get out of the car every few hours to walk for 10 minutes or so. Dr. Burnham went above and beyond to help me have a pain free trip.

I go to Dr Josh because he cares. He is quite thorough and willing with the variety of techniques he can offer me to relieve pain and bring correction. Plus we have a good time! Doctor B has been a lifesaver on my back, shoulder and hip issues. Lifting heavy objects at work and having a motorcycle accident has made my pain an everyday thing. Great place, great practice, and great chiropractor. Fast and easy appointment set up, very thorough in explaining diagnosis and treatment plan, and very professional and friendly. After I finished my treatment plan, Dr. Burnham emailed to follow up to make sure things were continuing to improve. Dr. Burnham is a very professional Doctor. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of chropractic care. He gives top care to his patients at their appointments and does not keep them coming back. When a patient feels like they don't need any care for awhile, they can take some time and come back when they feel the need. They are not pressured.
