Seasons is truly a one-of-a-kind place. I arrived a shell of myself, full of self hatred and despair. Everybody at Seasons greeted me with kindness, respect, and love. Through the highest quality therapy, introductions to different modalities, and compassion, Seasons gave me a new, authentic life. I will forever be grateful for my time at Seasons.

Be True to your Values don't put up with shit but do the work and at some point between Hypnotherapy with Barbara Carey/Somatic Therapy with Lynda McCloskky and CranialSacral with the yoga lady Lisa Carmichael I had an Awakening that made me Fierce! I was no longer afraid of falling and found the path to Sophrosyne. a healthy state of mind characterized by self control, moderation and a deep awareness of one's true self resulting in Happiness. I cannot say enough good things about the care I received at Seasons. When I first arrived, I was scared and had no idea what to expect. I was treated with such care and kindness from the time I arrived that I felt comforted, and was sure I had come to the right place. The place is beautiful, but the real treasure is the staff. They are all simply amazing.
They clearly have a ton of knowledge and experience in treating addiction and it shows, but they are also very empathetic. I could tell they knew what I was going through, and I soon felt reassured that I was going to be OK. I came to Seasons to get sober. I had no clue that I'd be given the keys to a whole new outlook on life. I was shown a way of living that I never knew existed, and for that I am truly grateful.

Every single person is warm, so helpful, so genuine, so accommodating, and completely without judgement. And the team of therapists-my goodness. Absolute professionals and so kind, so skilled. They have assembled a dynamite team of caring and talented people. They treat people as individuals with a holistic approach. They focus on much more than the surface level addition or mental health diagnosis you present with. This is so important for lasting recovery. Bonus- the environment is beautiful and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended!

I'll start by saying that this is one of the most legit rehabs within California. The connection they make between mental health and addiction is a crucial part to why my time there was worth every bit of it. Their operations to dive into these two fields is pretty much a best bet scenario of getting to the root of peoples suffering in my opinion.
Large note: Dr. Ben(psychologist) is to date the most proficient and understanding psychologist I've run into in my life. His way of communication along with the wisdom/information he holds is extraordinary(which I don't state lightly). If you choose to go here give him a shot. He's the main reason I'm doing well in my life today.

I had a major struggle in my addiction. I was on a very thin thread of losing my family and tearing them apart because of my drug usage. I found this place, at first I was scared but I knew I needed treatment to fix and repair the damage I have caused. This place was amazing, it was beyond belief of what they have done for me while I was under their care.
The staff was truly amazing to be around. From everything- Admission, techs, clinical therapist, chefs, house keepers. I stayed there for 30 days and extended my stay because I saw how much growth I was making. Everyday that I spent at Seasons was an experience that I will never forget. The staff are there to help you with your struggles and underline issues.
I myself was able to bring up things that I never knew until I started to open up. After 15 years of being in my addiction I am truly grateful that I have went to Seasons Malibu. They are very resourceful of helping finding a sober living once you are done with treatment. This place has the far best of knowledge and skills of what it takes to be a treatment center.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone that is seeking treatment for their addiction. This place has saved my life dearly. My sobriety date is Aug 5,2015 and this year I will have 6 years clean. I have also been able to repair the damage I have caused to my family. My bond with my family is stronger and better than before, if it was not for this place I would not be where I am today. Admissions- truly welcoming with open arms and caring.
Clinical therapists/ Case workers- truly helpful and they are there to help. Truly eye opening experience. Groups are amazing and were truly helpful. Chefs- truly amazing cooks and super friendly, healthy food. Residential Advisors/Nurses- amazing team. Each have their own journey to recovery and is truly able to sit and take the time to interact with clients.
House Keepers- They are the most sweetest and gentle people I have ever known. They ask if you need anything and make your stay worth wild. I am hoping that I will be able to visit them again soon. I do miss my Seasons Malibu family. To all Seasons Staff Thank you so much for saving my life. Yours truly Jeff K (Panda)

I'm writing this review from my cousins Google, my name is Chris and I recently stayed at Seasons in Malibu. From the first contact they were extremely kind and polite, naturally this was a sensitive time for me but they made the process very easy. Once I checked in everything went smoothly. The staff was nice, facility was very clean, food was amazing and the staff was top notch!
With all that said I was there for one reason only and I'm glad to say I'm still sober which says a lot about them as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who asks.

I had an amazing experience at Seasons in Malibu. From the moment I arrived everyone was welcoming and accommodating. I felt completely cared for and was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The staff's knowledge and ability to connect individually with each client is beyond comparison. My treatment program encompassed a unique balance of healing and growth mentally, physically and spiritually. The program at Seasons coupled with hard work gave me the tools to be successful and solidified my desire to be healthy and well.

I was a patient at Seasons for 30 days and it completely changed my life. 4 years ago I found my son dead. I had seen local counselors, therapists, grief specialists, and psychiatrists. I was wallowing, just getting by. I supplemented my prescription depression meds with alcohol. The multi faceted approach Seasons employed helped me make a complete 360' turn about.
The staff is exceptional. The psychological techniques. that I'd never been exposed to, were phenomenal. It was tough work, digging down to my core. I'm a much stronger person and actual member of society now. I've been gifted a second life! Thank you Seasons!

I found Season to be the perfect solution and environment to treat my alcohol addiction. I spent a combined 90 days in the program, and it was a game-changer. Like any facility, it's not perfect, but the overall experience helped me accomplish my sobriety and restoring my mental balance. They will work with you on a customized program, and you have the time and freedom to have your own space.
I loved many of the staff as they became good supporters and were respectful. One of the best aspects was getting to know the other people in the program that helped take the edge off. It was a positive life-changer at the end of the day. It is well worth the investment in your life.

We signed up my daughter back in September of 2020 and paid more than an average person would make in one year for a 30 day treatment. If you are looking for a "vacation" spot to enjoy the ocean view and get massages and be fed by a famous cook, you came to the right place. If you are looking for a facility for mental health related matters and want to be treated, you might want to rethink it.
The best thing that happened was my daughter was hospitalized because they were not equipped to deal with her. The director and onsite staff were rude hanging up when my daughter called to find out where her belongings were. I would give them a negative star if I could. This is to your response. While you may see me as an emotional parent outraged because my daughter was hospitalized, that is not so.
I am fully aware of the compliance and regulations you have to follow. Based on my experience, I am simply stating that your place is not well prepared to handle mental patients. As I mentioned, the best thing that happened was the fact that my daughter was hospitalized and cared for by a doctor who knew what he was doing. Thank God for that! Her mental state was not recognized by your staff, not even close. Apparently Seasons in Malibu's reputation is sub par outside your world. Simply, it is a glorified place for rich folks with issues to hang out.

Seasons, and its absolutely INCREDIBLE staff helped me through one of the toughest times in my life. Thanks to them, and some good old fashioned hard work on my part I was able to build the foundation to my recovery. My family and I were shown respect, and support every step of the way. I feel extremely lucky, and fortunate to have been able to spend time at this facility with this team. All of my Love, Lauren

Fantastic treatment center with a high end staff and top notch program. A close friend of mine fell into addiction and my friends and I had no idea what to do. We called in to Seasons Malibu and were quickly connected with the admissions team. Kathryn answered the phone and explained that she was the admissions coordinator - she walked us through every step of the process and answered every question (we had a lot of them) that we asked.
She promptly connected us with an interventionist who helped us get our friend to finally get help. We connected back with the admissions team and were introduced to Marit who was incredibly knowledgeable about the addiction / mental health arena and helped explain to our friend that he was going to be in good hands. Once again we asked a million questions and each of them were answered, Kathryn walked us through the insurance battle and we were able to successfully get our friend some help. Not Cheap! But he has now been sober for over 6 months and seems to have a new way of living.

I'll keep this short and simple. Seasons in Malibu should not be allowed to operate as a rehabilitation and mental health facility. It's a poor business that does not care about the well being of the clients and instead focuses on how much money they can gain out of you. I had a family member attend Seasons and she was treated poorly from the very start.
I went on Yelp to write a review so others are aware of the poor experience we had. I can't say I'm shocked to be reading that many others had a negative experience as well! As I'm reading these negative reviews, the wonderful Chief Operating Officer (Dr. Sheila S) decides to respond to the reviews. I imagine she would respond in an emphatic way to try and understand where the issue was to improve for future clients, but NOPE!
She is attacking everyone who writes a negative review. That's suspicious. What are you trying to hide and cover? I attached pictures of the responses and aren't you also confused by her unprofessional responses? My family spent $50,000+ trying to find the best care for my sister. We put our trust in Seasons and they not only let our family down, but several other families as well.

This place is horrible. Horrible. I made a call to get help. Obviously these reviews r fake. They said they were very empty n I could have any room? After I gave him my insurance information he said the rudest thing. He said, we don't accept Medicare? What? I don't have Medicare u fool! I have ppo insurance. Nice way to treat someone who needs help. I didn't even realize how bad our healthcare system is until now. This place is so disgusting.

10 out off 10! Seasons at Malibu is an outstanding addictions recovery facility. A comprehensive recovery model that includes intense one on one counselling, meditation, hypnotherapy, spirituality, message, and family support, the Seasons program leaves no stone unturned. From the moment we called admissions to enquire about their approach to addiction recovery, to the comprehensive after care support program, our family has been treated with respect, understanding and have been given a clear understanding of Seasons well thought out objectives.
My brave son entered the program in early February and his own hard work combined with the solid dedication of all the staff, has resulted in his solid recovery. Seasons approach is positive, does not play the shame game. The physical facility is first class, food is outstanding and healthy and all staff create an atmosphere that is warm and supportive. Only suggestion is an in house gym.

If you need to get sober, and want luxurious surroundings, this is the best place to be, hands down. I'd been struggling for many years to kick my multiple addictions in 10 different rehabs. 12 step nazi programs as well as more integrative modes. They never were able to get at the roots of my disease and help me achieve lasting sobriety until I came to Seasons, where I met the most awesome therapists in the world. Dr Nancy Irwin and Audrey Hope teamed up to work with me and the most amazing miracle happened.
I finally surrendered to this day, years later, I still have no desire to drink or do drugs, a real miracle for me and my family. This is such a nice place with great food and a feeling of love permeates the comforting, compassionate atmosphere. Come for the luxury and stay for the superb treatment.

I was a client here in 2014. I spent the recommended full 3 months and followed it up immediately by going into a recommended sober living facility. First off it's a business, so yes they have an executive team that focuses on getting paid and making a profit. It's not cheap to run these places and they aren't in business to lose money or break even.
That being said, the staff that engages with clients is phenomenal. They are all there bc they want to help people get better and if a client shows desire and willingness they will go above and beyond to help that client. I was a nightmare at first. I was forced into rehab and didn't think I even needed to be there, of course. No matter how mean or rude I was they never turned their back on me.
They were patient through my tantrums and caring when my anger gave into fear and desperation. They saved my life. No doubt. I highly recommend Seasons. It was, for me, a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on myself with some of the best doctors in the field. Open mind, open heart and a new beginning is what i was given for my time spent here. I could cry just thinking about it! Good cry. grateful.

This was my first experience finding a rehabilitation site for my son. After reading many reviews, I felt confident that Seasons was the best choice for our family. My son completed 28 days at Seasons Agoura, and I can already see a big difference in his outlook on his future. I attended a family therapy session with him, and being a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I was hoping that she would be experienced and qualified in her area of specialty.
I was not disappointed. I learned so much from just one session. Everyone who works at Seasons is committed and knowledgeable, and the multi-disciplinary approach towards treatment is state-of-the-art. I am beyond thrilled that I took this major first step in helping my son. And I thank each and every person that has helped move him one step closer to a bigger and better future.

I recently completed treatment at Seasons and it was an amazing experience. I have attended several other inpatient facilities and Seasons is by far the most comprehensive and caring place I have ever been. The staff are not only very knowledgeable on substance abuse disorders, but also dig deeper into the causes and core issues that may cause relapse or use.
I have gained many new tools to help combat my addiction when I return to my daily life. I have also received thoughtful recommendations on continuing care which I plan on implementing. Overall a positive and helpful experience which will truly help me in my recovery.

When I reached out to Seasons in Malibu, I was pleasantly surprised about the level of concern and care for my loved one. They were patient in hearing my story and why we needed the time to make sure we found the right placement. There was nothing pushy about their tactics and frankly, it was me that kept calling back to ask more questions. By the third or fourth call over the course of a month, the admissions team was familiar and more than accommodating. Finally, when my loved one checked in, we all felt very nervous and read way too many horror stories online.
Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted, felt comforted in connecting with the Doctor's almost right away and was given the personal phone number of his case manager to be contacted at any time. His room was beautiful, the grounds and the views were breathtaking. Honestly, I thought rehabs were supposed to be stale and serious environments. The other clients were jovial, kind and clearly felt well taken care of at Seasons.
I can't say enough about how they treated me and my family. Although my loved one still has work to do, I know for a fact that Seasons gave him the best chance to be successful in recovery.

Where luxury meets rehabilitation is my motto for this place. Its incredibly difficult to get clean if you dont change your overall habits and lifestyle. It wasnt easy for me before and it wont be easy for me tomorrow but with the right groups and habit formations i finally feel as if I can keep and stay clean after my experience with seasons malibu. Dr. Shilatii was an absolute godsend and really kickstarted my sobriety during my addiction treatment.

This place is absolutely what it says it is. I had a very close friend of mine need to check into rehab and I was part of a group of us that decided to help him in his search to find a place that frankly saved his life. We had no idea what we were doing. We had never tried anything like this before and every place just tells you what you want to hear.
We decided to go with our friend and visit at least five different places. Each was very different and had a bunch of different amenities, views, etc.but it wasn't until we met with the clinical director and the COO that we felt different about Seasons. They were the only ones that actually seemed to care about taking the time to explain everything to us.
Not only did they spend over an hour and a half with my friend, but there was absolutely no high pressure sales tactics. Two weeks later, my friend checked in. Since then, he has been doing amazing. I am so proud of him and so impressed with the way Seasons handled everything. I highly recommend this place and feel free to go visit: you will not be disappointed.

The facilities are beautiful and the views incredible. The staff truly cares about the patients there. The acupuncture was interesting as I never had it before but it was a positive experience. The massages were out of this world. I forget her name but she is top notch. Breakfast is on your own but plenty is supplied for the making. The off-site activities such as stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking were just what I needed after days of intense therapy. The food is good especially if you like it a little on the fancy side.

Beware! In my personal opinion, this place is a complete scam. I visited this establishment last weekend, as my friend/sisters power of attorney, for a dispute totaling $42,000 for services that were never rendered. I cannot speak for her, but I can speak for how I was treated upon arrival. It was difficult to locate, because the address and the phone numbers have changed.
This facility was NOT the facility that is online or on the commercials. In fact, this house was under complete construction. Definitely not the oasis that is advertised. Upon arrival, I noticed eight luxury cars parked in the driveway. This was very alarming, given the nature of this establishment. I was introduced to Merit, and the establishment owner/manager, I believe his name was Roy or Rob?
When I asked for a copy of the contract that my sister signed upon her arrival, I was greeted with immediate aggression and an elevated tone of voice. They would not answer any of our questions, and immediately started raising their voice for us to leave. Roy threatened to call the police on my sister, my mother, and I. We waited outside for the police, as we felt the situation should be documented, but they never arrived.
All we wanted was to speak to a live person since, we had been avoided for the last month. We calmly explained our issue to Patrick as we were waiting outside. We would not have showed up to the property unannounced, had they had not changed the phone number, location, and stopped returning our phone calls. I don't know what is going on with this facility, or what kind of transition they are in, bankruptcy perhaps?
I can't say this as fact, this is just my suspicion. Either way, the way my family and I were treated was unprofessional, and in my opinion, the business they are running is very unethical. I am a medical professional myself, and every patient is given a copy of whatever documents are signed, along with a HIPPA notice. This review was not written to violate yelp.coms content guidelines, for example, by writing a fake or defamatory review.
This is an accurate, factual, account of my personal experience. Im in no way telling you, the reader, to not do business with this establishment or anyone involved with this establishment.
I'm simply offering my opinion, and giving you my personal experience, for you to make an informed decision in your care.

I cannot say enough good things about how Seasons. They changed the life of my cousin who has struggled with addiction for years. She and our family were treated with respect and honesty throughout her entire stay. Dr. Shilati and her team were there for us when we had questions about anything and everything during the process. Rehab is the furthest thing from easy (or cheap) but Seasons helped guide us all through the ups and downs, all while focusing on getting to the root of the addiction issues with my cousin. We are grateful to the entire team at Seasons for helping to save her life and for helping our family as a whole.

If you want a beautiful setting, yoga, acupuncture, massages, personal chef, hiking.this is the place for you if you don't mind spending thousands of dollars a week. If you really need help. I mean truly need help to recover from drugs or alcohol I would suggest a more tough love place and save the cash. I do believe most there were really trying to help but I also know that there were a couple people that took advantage of my loved one.
