Rose Wellness Center

Brought my daughter in based on all the positive reviews. She has been dealing with chronic issues for years and I was really hoping to find some relief for her. After the initial consult, a fecal test was ordered. I was warned it may not be covered by insurance and i might end up paying approximately $400 after an initial payment of $189. Albeit pricey, I went ahead. Turns out the diagnostic center that was recommended for the test has hit me with a bill of $1,885!

My insurance has called them repeatedly, going on six months now, asking for information regarding why the test was ordered and nothing is forthcoming from either Genova or Rose Wellness. Genova has even resorted to calling and harassing my daughter for payment even though my insurance has said not pay them yet since the test might be covered by my benefits. Please stay away from this place. It's just not worth all the time and trouble.

I have been seeing Suzanne, the Nurse Practitioner, for about 7 months now. She is great! Super friendly, and she always writes up specific details explaining her plan for me. She's identified things with my health that previous people missed. Highly recommend!

It's almost impossible to get in touch with a human when calling. For such a small office I'm not sure why they need a complex answering system. My first visit was fairly basic and I wasn't really given any valuable information. I did not see Dr Hirani as she seems to get better reviews. But I would suggest they reimagine client services

Very Poor front desk service. I called and shared my mother's health story and how she would like to be a patient at this wellness center. Danya told me she would call me the next day with an update. No reply. Each time i call i am told Danya is not available, and she will call me. No Call Back. I am disappointed in Rose Wellness Center because I called seeking help and care and have been left hanging for weeks. Breaks my heart.

Insomnia has been an ongoing issue for me in varying intensity for as long as I can remember. I had tried over the counter medications with little to no success. I have also consulted with multiple doctors. I am thrilled to be able to write that the functional medicine approach employed at Rose Wellness is resulting in the most success I have experienced as of yet.

In just three visits to the center, I feel like they have already improved my quality of life. I like it that they provide all functional medicine services in one place. The practitioners at Rose Wellness patiently listened to my concerns and were very helpful. I look forward to continuing my journey for better health.

I can't believe I have lived these many years without having the kind of care I have received from Rose Wellness. I highly recommend this integrative wellness center as their healthcare providers and staff are extremely caring and knowledgeable. Their telehealth consults are very convenient too.

I have been dealing with chronic fatigue that my regular doctor was just so dismissive about. Then I found Rose Wellness and I've never felt better! It wasn't a quick fix but I followed the recommended program and took the supplements and I slowly started to regain energy and my life back. Plus, the use of telemedicine has made making it to my appointments easy and safe in the age of Covid. I highly recommend Rose Wellness!

DO NOT Sign up for contract since they need continuous revenue so they will lure you in if you are desperate. It is total SCAM and deceiving since they are in with Vita living. My wife had to go through surgery for heartburn issue. We consulted with Doctor at Rose Wellness Center and she was good a luring people into contract by giving you presentation.

Whatever she presented was felt true that time but after consulting with REAL doctor it was actually herniated stomach into esophagus. again DO NOT go for contract or you will loose money. They never had any real plan for resolution and kept on saying we will have to continue for one more year but nothing is guaranteed. Also you will have to use Doctor's code to make purchase with VITA living which is also useless so don't take any useless supplements.

Not sure how people go to sleep after deceiving human because of money. There is also penalty to break contract so I want everyone to aware of that so don't waste money even if you are desperate like we were. I hope someone will take action against them. It is money making scheme between Rose Wellness and VITA Living.

Talk about discrimination these days, I called Rose for an appointment and of course they asked for my insurance provider. I said Medicare, and was told they don't accept Medicare. I said I would pay out of pocket and was told they don't accept Medicare. They obviously meant, they don't accept anyone older than 65. Sounds like discrimination to me. Lawrence Fabian

I suffered with neck and back pain for years than I can remember. Holistic medicines and treatments have been wonderful and it has truly been life changing for me! They are so informative, detailed, and especially caring.

After the industrial accident I was involved in, the financial compensation eventually came but the relief from and peace of mind that I so desperately wanted was harder to come by. Conventional medications and processes weren't doing anything for me. Rose Wellness Center provided what I needed and so much more so I strongly suggest you seek this facility out.

I visited Rose Wellness Center earlier this year and was treated so well for all my health issues. When I first went to this facility, my skin was pale and my nails were brittle. My hair didn't seem to have any life in it. Various other places couldn't diagnose the problem but the wonderful team here did. They were able to correctly diagnose and remedy all my issues. I strongly suggest you visit this center for your health concerns.

UPDATE: I've found Dr. Hirani to have a better bedside manner than Dr. Leon. She really takes time to explain the complex bodily systems (hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis), feedback loops, the difference between "good estrogen" and "bad estrogen" (I didn't even know that was a thing.), and takes a holistic, natural approach to healing (turmeric and bone broth for inflammation etc).

When the DUTCH test revealed I have "adrenal fatigue" and that my hormones are that of a 60 year old (I'm 32), she laid out a year long plan to get my body healthy again. I feel better than I have in years. I do agree with what others have said that it is very hard to get a hold of the staff - even portal messages go unanswered. Given that Rose Wellness has just switched to a membership program ($2000-4000 a year), with one of the listed "benefits" as unlimited portal messages, it is disappointing and frustrating to not get a reply. Example: Dr Hirani messaged me on 6/16, I replied on 6/17 and I sent supplemental messages on 6/21, 6/26, 7/1, 7/3.

I called the office on 7/1 and Margarita assured me Dr H would reply soon and the delay was an error. I left voicemail on 7/5, still no reply by 7/8 AM. By 7/8 afternoon, Dr H responded, but the message was brief and didn't fully address all the topics from my 5 messages.

I've been going to Rose Wellness for about a year now and have nothing but good things to say about them. The staff is very prompt in replying to my questions and concerns, and they're very courteous and easy to work with. Being under Dr. Hirani's care has been immensely helpful and eye opening for me. I'm still on the path to finding the root cause of my issues, but am confident that Rose Wellness and Dr. Hirani will continue to help me get there. I would suggest them to anyone looking for functional medicine and overall wellness.

I’ve recommended Rose Wellness for a few years now for a deep holistic and medical approach to health. I still use them after moving to SC because they and I have invested a lot of time in my health and I know they are the best. I highly recommend them!

I am very grateful for the Practitioners at Rose Wellness. I have been seeing Dr. Hirani for the past 2 1/2 years. She is very thorough with my care, taking the time needed to really explain everything to me. I had never heard of some of the testing she asked me to do, but the results were really helpful. The plan she's got me on is helping me feel a lot better.

My son has seen Dr. Leon for the past two years. Dr. Leon has a wonderful bedside manor with kids and really talks to them on their level, making them comfortable. He easily figured out the root cause of my son's issues. I have also seen Elizabeth McMillan, the Nutritionist. She is an ace for the practice, from my perspective. She has taught me to think outside the box and has given me suggestions that have really helped with my autoimmune condition. I am so happy that we found Rose Wellness when we moved here a few years ago. Thank you for helping my family.

Going to Rose Wellness Center saved my life! When other doctors told me my illness was age related, and to get used to it, the team at Rose Wellness took me very seriously. I was treated by real doctors , given individual care, and a course of treatments that got me back to real health and wellness without strong medications that mearly treated symptoms.

If you go you will find the team there really cares about you! I am in better health, fitness , and weight than I have been since I was nineteen. If you just can’t seem to find answers to your chronic health issues love yourself and get to Rose Wellness Center. I have been a regular patient for over a decade.

I've been having symptoms of Lyme Disease for several years and never thought anything of it. It wasn't until my symptoms become severe in October 2015 that I began doing my research around the possibility of Lyme. I live in Richmond, VA and finding doctors in the area was not easy. I finally came across the ILADS website, which referred me to 3 doctors in the area who diagnose and treat via the ILADS guidelines. Dr. Afrooz was one of the 3 doctors and after doing research and speaking with the office, I didn't hesitate to schedule an appointment with her.

My visit was earlier today, and I have to say I have not felt this encouraged and hopeful in a long time. Dr. Afrooz spent 2 hours with me listening to my symptoms and concerns and took extensive notes on my history and current routines. Not once did I feel rushed. I got my blood work done, which is being sent off to IGENEX and won't get results back for a couple of weeks. However, after evaluating my condition, she confidently put me on a daily plan in order to get me back to being healthy in the meantime. I would highly recommend Dr. Afrooz to anyone and am beyond thankful that I found her and her staff when I did.

The office staff never picks up the phone, you can call, email, and send messages until you are blue in the face. I have waited weeks. They have NO IDEA what they are doing. Dr Afrooz, is too busy from being promoted too much by one person on social media groups. She never seems prepared and has asked me many times what medicine I take, and as a dr prescribing multiple antibiotics at one time, she should know this.

Also kept trying to give me things i was allergic to. I also had two big issues that I had to bring to her attention from other drs because of the neglect, and of the office staff not getting her messages. She is a very nice person, I think she cares about people, but I would not recommend her as a dr. She is too quick to put everyone on IV as many patients have contacted me with similar issues and have since left or are leaving the practice.

Her method of treating is, try everything and see what works. If you are a complex case, I would advise going somewhere else. I have talked to many of her patients who have gotten so sick with her and now are seeing other drs doing much better. I got much worse with her over a year into treatment. I am with a new dr and moving mountains. She has only been doing this 4 years and by no means an expert. She is also not board certified.

I've lived in Northern Virginia for 15 years now and had accepted my seasonal allergies and daily doses of OTC allergy medicine for just as long. When I heard that my pollen and dust symptoms could be relieved in just a few sessions without invasive treatments, I was a bit skeptic but definitely interested. Dr Afrooz is a lifesaver. After over twenty years of struggling with Lyme and Coinfections I am getting treatment. I was seen by numerous doctors at University Hospitals and she is the one I needed. I now have hope after a stroke at age 36 from Lyme. I would recommend her to anyone with five stars.

If it were not for Dr. Hirani, my family and I believe that I might not be here today. I was afraid to go to sleep at night, thinking that I may not wake up and the possibility that my daughter would find me. No one knew what was causing my severe health problems however, most of them were not looking any further either or did not know where to look for answers.

My cardiologist actually called Dr. Hirani to find out what she had done to his patient he could not believe the difference in me and was amazed.
