In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

Chiropractors do not claim to treat infectious diseases. What chiropractic does is allow your body to function free of nerve system interference and closer to your full potential. Understanding the spread of infectious disease and how best to defend yourself can lessen the fear as well as your chances of being impacted by infectious pathogens.

I've gone to many chiropractors over the course of my entire life, and in 3 different states. That being said I am no stranger to the benefit of good chiropractic health. However, I frequently tell people that Dr. Palmer has helped me more than any other I've ever seen. My results have been more consistent and he's gotten me to the point of usually only needing maintenance adjustments every couple of months. There are still flare ups (that's normal when you have some bad discs as I do) but I'm so thankful for the progress I've experienced at Palmer Chiropractic!

Dr. Palmer is an amazing chiropractor. I've been a patient of his for several years and he has helped me tremendously with my hip and shoulder pain over the years. He's very thorough with asking and answering questions and explaining things. His office staff is always pleasant and a delight to work with for billing and scheduling appointments. Great customer service.

Dr. Palmer and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. I have tension headaches and can always count on Dr. Palmer to adjust the pain away. I always feel comfortable in his care and would recommend him to everyone I know. Making an appointment when I need one has never been a problem & the office staff are very welcoming and friendly!

Dr Trace Palmer with his expert Chiropractic care has made a world of difference with my neck, lower back and sciatica. He is knowledgeable, kind and punctual. Beth offers a welcoming attitude and patience while scheduling or answering questions both in office and on the phone. I really look forward to my adjustment visits.

Not a good Chiropractor, I will never be convinced otherwise. He wanted to jump right into those drop table adjustments which I don't like, He wanted to rush me right onto his table for (treatment) without even going over my paperwork that I filled out beforehand. He also said that he would not be doing X-rays, I've never been to a more unprofessional and unpleasant chiropractor in my life! Afterwards all he cared about was measuring my hand strength?!?(that wasn't even a concern?!?) Too out of touch with the way modern chiropractic work is done, will not return or recommend period.

I don't think I can find all the words I'd need to describe just how much Dr Palmer has changed my life. I'd seen other chiropractors in the area but it never did me much good. I've been to pain management, my PCP, I even had nerves burned in my back just to try and get some relief. I was told I needed to go see Dr Palmer and I'm so thankful I did.
He had me get xrays done and knew right away where my issues were, and was able to adjust me accordingly. I look forward to my appts and I leave feeling SO much better. I can keep up with my kids now. I get out of bed without being bent over in pain. If you are in need of chiropractic care, Dr Palmer is your choice. The office is friendly, accommodating, and will fit you in for emergencies. He even offers a military discount because at this time, tricare does not cover chiropractic care. I'm so happy I made the choice to seek treatment here!

Trace is the first chiropractor I've ever gone to and I'm glad for that. He's helping to fix this unbearable neck pain I've been feeling for years. Very informative and reassuring. He explains things in great detail and him and Nikki are very accommodating, I can shoot them a quick text and they'll find room to squeeze me in which I appreciate. Also love chatting with Trace about his glory days of being the official chiropractor for the Honduran National Soccer Team. Cool guy

Eaisily one of the BEST, most honest, and thourough chiropractors I've ever been too. I saw Dr. Palmer for a little over a year. I just moved out of state and I am dreading having to find a new one. I tried a couple other guys in the Savannah area but none of them came close to the quality, and individualized care I received during my time with Dr. Trace Palmer. I highly recommend him!

Trace and Nikki are excellent! They take care of us so well. We come in monthly and add extra visits in case we run into back pain or neck issues. If I get a stiff neck I know I can text them and get in on the next day. He always has to play tricks on me to get me to relax enough for adjustment but it makes me laugh.

Never have I experienced a more caring and understanding staff. The chiropractic care I have receive has been the best I've ever had. I started going when we moved here and was about 28 weeks pregnant. My daughter has been going since she was 7 days old and is still going 6 months later. We've have both seen really great results!! They are friendly, knowledgeable and quick.

Absolutely the best I've been to in any of the 8 states I've lived in. He listens to your concerns, assesses conditions quickly and accurately, discusses treatments with you in depth using visual aids, and develops comprehensive plans. Very pleasant environment from the minute you walk in and are greeted with a smile. In and out in 15 minutes or less and very accommodating scheduling. Highly recommended if you're seeking a pain free life. More than a year of annoying burning/aching in my back was cured in 2 visits.

I've enjoyed my chiropractic experience with Dr. Palmer. It first started when I was 28 weeks pregnant and having sciatica pain. I felt relief instantly after the adjustment with even more improvement over the next few days. After having my son, I have continued to see Dr. Palmer for maintenance. Every time I walk out of his office I always wish I would have made my appointment sooner. Dr. Palmer's wife, Nikki, is happy to greet you when you arrive and if able, will help look after your little ones during your appointment. Overall, Richmond Hill is lucky to have such a great practitioner.

Dr. Trace has been treating me and my husband for awhile now and we are very pleased with our results. He is always very professional and gives us detailed information about our conditions and treatment so that we can understand why we are having pain and how chiropractic can help. Their office is a bright and cheerful place and I have always been seen quickly, even when I drop in. I highly recommend Palmer Chiropractic!

I started seeing Dr. Palmer about a month ago for horrible migraines, I was completely desperate for relief, absolutely nothing was helping! I tried everything from prescription medications to having to leave work early. After about a week I started to see significant changes! I am going on my fifth week tomorrow and I couldn't be more thankful to have met Dr. Palmer and his wife. Not only have my headaches stopped, I have learned some healthy alternatives to help prevent them as well. Thanks so much!
