Ms. Heather is absolutely brilliant at what she does. I was trying to recover from knee surgery and nothing seemed to help in the recovery until she realized that what was holding me up wasn't my knee, but rather my quads. She started to work on my quads and almost instantly my body's recovery process kicked in. I play goalie on an ice hockey team and due to my injury and subsequent surgery was having a hard time on the ice. Now, because of Ms. Heather I'm back in net, pain free, with better range of motion, strength and leg endurance.

Heather was able to stop the migraines which I've been suffering from for over 15 years. Prior to her treatments i had been to a Chinese Accupuncturist whose treatments do not compare to Sullivan Accupuncture and only offered temporary relief.

Acupuncture was recommended to me by my doctor due to allergy/sinus swelling that was extremely irritating causing horrible neck pain and discomfort. It caused the main nerve in my face to swell, thus creating BP. Yes, I could have gone to any “acupuncture salon”, but I took my time and did some research and found Dr. Sullivan in Gurnee. Like most, I was a bit skeptical at first, but then within the first 7 days of treatment, I was a believer.

I had tried so many other crazy treatments the first 2 months I was diagnosed, had I known of acupuncture treatment soon, I would have seen her immediately! She is such a wonderful person, taking the time to listen and understand what is really going on. I have never felt rushed or pushed along. It is such a soothing and extremely relaxing experience.

Her offices are so clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend her acupuncture practice to anyone with any allergy/sinus swelling, neck, leg, back or body pain, aches or nerve issues and definitely Bells Palsy. The first session is a bit strange getting pinned, but after that you hardly feel anything. When you leave you feel so refreshed and healthy. It is such a struggle when you are sick and I wish someone had recommended this to me months sooner. So worth the time and money. Life is too short to be in pain!

Heather is helping with chronic pain associated with TMJ/migraine headaches. So far, the treatments are helping. So thankful to have found her! She is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate.
