Report
NaturalHealth Choice provides primary health care based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - health evaluation and treatment; adjunctive therapies and diagnostic techniques for the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health and prevention of diseases.
Treatments may include (with patient's informed consent) acupuncture needles insertion, injection therapy of herbal/ homeopathic supplements, Tui Na manual therapy, Gua Sha dermal friction, moxibustion, cupping, thermal methods, acupatches, manual stimulations, acupressure, reflexology, shiatsu massage, electro-acupuncture, percutaneous and transcutaneous electrical stimulation.
Herbs and homeopathic preparations, approved for use in the US, compliment the above treatments.
Pain Management. Acupuncture stimulation has been shown to facilitate and stimulate the release of natural painkillers like endorphins and enkephalins that bind to opioid receptors. Acupuncture promotes the function of the adrenal glands; affects chemicals that are known to be involved in mood and pain perception (serotonin, GABA, dopamine etc) , and influences the body's pain-generating messengers (substance P) .
Based on clinical experience, the World Health Organization lists a number of conditions for which acupuncture can be considered, including a variety of digestive, gynecological, neurological, respiratory and psychological conditions.
Studies and reviews have supported the use of acupuncture for migraine and tension headaches, acute & chronic pain and soft-tissue injuries of the joints. Acupuncture is most frequently used in both China and the U. S. for musculoskeletal pain relief.

I recommend Dr. Kamburov to everyone! She is knowledgeable and kind and tailors each treatment to the needs of the individual patient. I always leave feeling SO much better (no matter how I'm feeling when I enter her office) and understand how to continue to care for myself at home. I highly recommend her. Thanks, Dr. K!

Dr. Kamburov is amazing. In the year that I have had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Kamburov, my health has improved greatly. She understands the human body and what contributions acupuncture and alternative medicine can make to the healing of the body and mind. She also is respectful of traditional medicine. She recognizes that it's a collaboration to the wellness of her patients. Dr. Kamburov truly has healing hands. It is my earnest belief that if you go to one appointment, you will become a regular. The benefits will become quickly apparent. I'm a believer and a fan.
