Mark J. DeMalio DC Inc We've been providing quality chiropractic care to Trumbull County and surrounding regions since 1993. Initially started in Niles, Ohio in 1993, Dr. DeMalio owned and run Niles Chiropractic Clinic, Inc. After 7 years of success, the practice was relocated to Howland Township in May of 2000 in the professional building of North East Ohio Orthopedics on North Road, and the practice name was changed appropriately to Mark J. DeMalio, DC, Inc.

Our method is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they've lost their health, our dedication is two-fold:

1. Relief Care

Relief or wellness care... its your choice explains Dr. Mark DeMalio.

When many people search for care in our office they have one purpose : relief. So that's where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:

Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
Provide a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
Suggest ways patients can participate in their recovery
Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care

2. Wellness Care

We encourage our clients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our wish is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.

I have often been asked as to the reason why I select to be a Chiropractor and I must admit this discipline of health care actually chose me.

I was a senior in high school, football player, and preparing for college with aspirations of a career in the health care field. I got a severe injury to my lower back during football training that not only ended my football career but also in turn debilitated my current way of life. Being a young man, I followed my parent's advice as well as the school's and went through the normal or traditional route for treatment for my injury. Medications didn't help, physical therapy failed. My ache was dismissed a pulled muscle, sprained ligament, being a large sized young man, and a you should be healed by now diagnosis. I consulted a well-respected chiropractor in town to see if he could help me. An x-ray revealed that I had a lumbar spine fracture. I started on the road to rehabilitation and after some treatments and proper management; I was back to a healthy, athletic, and active life. So as you can see, I take all patient's pain and ill health, well personally.

I am a native of Niles, Ohio and graduate of Niles McKinley High School. I worked as an orthopedic orderly at St. Elizabeth's Hospital for 4 years while attending Youngstown State University. I received my B.S. in Pre-Medicine-Biology from YSU. I got my Doctorate of Chiropractic and a B.S. in Human Biology from the National College of Chiropractic in 1992, which is now known as the National University of Health Sciences, located in Chicago.

Progressive Chiropractic Principles for Optimal Wellness. This statement sums it all up. I work very hard to let my patients know of all their options to address current and chronic health issues. I am diligent in coordinating my patient's care with my care, their family doctors and other health care providers to insure optimal health and well being.

I am married to my wonderful wife, Heather and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Isabella, age 11 and Mia, age 7. With a young family, time goes by quickly, but I do manage to get in some golf and a few motorcycle rides.

My approach to keeping my health and manage my own concerns consists of weekly chiropractic care, whole food vitamin supplementation, and exercise. These are key components that help in keeping a positive mental attitude and fight the demands of my everyday life.

Thank you for visiting our website. I am here to assist you with your chiropractic care and nutritional needs. Give our Niles office a call or email, by using the link below, with any questions or concerns that you may have.

I've never felt better! Dr. DeMalio to make me feel 100% most every time I've visited his office. He is always seeking new and inventive ways to help his patients feel better. The Office staff are friendly and have gone out of their way to accommodate my schedule. This man knows his business. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

Dr. DeMalio provides care that is hard to find these days - unrushed individualized assessment rather than the quick in-and-out revolving door of most modern doctors. He provided much more personalized consultation regarding my torn rotator cuff than the original group I went to. Highly recommended.
