I have been getting treated by Dr Janet Leidy for years now. She is absolutely incredible and outshines any other acupuncturist I have experienced. She is genuine and caring and always well invested in her patient's well being and treatment plan. She spends a lot of time and attention on your current ailments and needles you accordingly. I have end stage liver failure and I know that Janet and her treatments have helped keep me alive and even saved me.
She is truly an amazing care giver with a heart of gold. I highly recommend Acupuncture for Life as the best treatment for any condition including anxiety, depression, lymphatic drainage, exhaustion, back and neck pain, edema, and so.much more. You leave feeling like a whole new person! If you are on the fence and not sure if Acupuncture is for you, try it! The needles don't hurt at all and it's great for your overall well-being!

Acupuncture for Life is the most amazing place I have ever experienced acupuncture. Dr. Leidy is a highly skilled and talented acupuncturist. She is incredibly knowledgeable and even teaches acupuncture and lectures on the subject. She is highly esteemed in the acupuncture community. She is at a master level of acupuncture, as I have been to several good acupuncturist from New York to Philly.
Yet she is really on another level beyond the rest. I believe it is a combination of her high level of knowledge and understanding, combined with the compassion she shows every patient that makes it so effective. She really cares deeply for others and especially takes every aspect of her patient's overall health and healing into account in the treatment session.
She really takes the time to treat your ailments on a deep level and often finishes her sessions with a relaxing massage on areas of need. She makes you feel pampered, as the treatment leaves one feeling destressed and very relaxed. She has effectively treated many issues for me. I had a lingering cough for two years which is now gone. I work with the public, so I often get sick and this is a real concern for me.
I did not get sick once this past winter, as she treated me for immunity issues and I amazingly did not get sick. She has also treated me for stress and sleeping issues and I feel so much better. I started seeing her for a bad injury and she has successfully treated that, as well as numerous other injuries I have suffered over the years. She has also treated me for other issues, including digestive issues.
These are issues that even a medical doctor has been unsuccessful in making any significant difference for me. I am so grateful for the improved quality of life I have thanks to her kindness and treatment which has greatly improved my quality of life. Words can not really do justice to the huge difference she has helped to make for me. If you want to try acupuncture and also want great results please see her, you will be so glad that you did.

I have been going to Janet for acupuncture for years now, she is the best of the best! She takes the time to really listen to my needs and never makes me feel like we're rushed. She is incredibly knowledgable as well as being one of the most nurturing, beautiful human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. If you are being treated by Janet, you know you are in healing hands. Can't recommend her enough!

I have been going regualrly to Dr. Leidy for over 4 years. The treatments I receive help me to cope with the chronic medical conditions that I have. Dr. Leidy is an attentive listener who is able to craft an individualized treatment plan for each patient. Not only is she a highly skilled acupuncturist, she also employs other healing techniques to maximize and enhance the well-being of her patients. Highly recommended!

I was in a car accident and PT has been helpful, but slow. I wanted to add acupuncture as a part of my treatment. I chose this place because on the website it states that it accepts insurance claims. I emailed. I called. I called again. Someone called me back. I called them back. I explained the situation. I even left a VM with the name of the medical claims adjuster and his number, the claim number, the insurance policy number.
And they said yes, they would accept it and they would give me the bill to forward to the adjuster. I said okay, and we scheduled a date. This afternoon, I get a call from them to clarify and make sure I was "very clear on how they handle insurance claims" before my appointment.which was schedule for tomorrow. I spoke to the person and now I am told that they give me a copy of a detailed bill to submit to the insurance, but that I have to pay out of pocket for every visit.
I told them that the insurance pays for it all - and that's why they were given all the necessary information needed to contact the adjuster. Insurance is taking care of it - I am not paying my own money for a service that is covered by the claim. I had also verified this all with my adjustor prior to even looking for an acupuncturist. The person seemed surprised when I canceled and then asked if I knew that it would be covered, and I said yes.
I gave all that information to you guys in a message. Just Beware that they DO NOT do insurance claims - if they did, they will be dealing with insurance. They ask you to pay - so it does not matter if you have a claim or not. It was frustrating to get an appointment and I'm very frustrated that they called to basically tell me something different than they did when the appointment was scheduled. I would not recommend anyone who has an insurance claim to come here.

Janet is one of the best if not the best and most knowledgable, personal, and relatable acupuncturists I have ever met. She is the top professor at the won institute, the only acupuncture school in Pa. She is without a doubt the most knowledgable person j know when it comes to eastern medicine. She has many many success stories.

Janet Leidy is a health practitioner who has the heart of a teacher. She will treat you using the wisdom of acupuncture and help to expand your understanding of yourself, and your health. She is always learning new things, which always makes her healing practice evolve. It is clear that healing is her passion. It is her mission to help you feel your best. I drive well over for treatments, when I have other Acupuncturists closer to me. She is worth every minute it takes me to get there.
