Amazing experience. Sharon put me at ease, especially with this being my first experience with acupuncture. I had been using a cane to feel more stable for 4 days. After the treatment, I left forgetting my cane, feeling great. I had to turn back around and get it "just in case." I am excited to see how this helps my body.

Sharon bestowed upon me the gift of rejuvenating sleep. Since recovering from Covid-19, I've struggled with fatigue and achieving restful sleep. After consulting with Sharon for the first time, I noticed an improvement in my heart rate variability. Her expertise in helping people with sleep issues was invaluable. I'm deeply grateful, Sharon.

I chose this place based on the reviews. But I had a completely different experience. I've never had an acupuncturist claim they can't work on more than one part of your body. Im not sure if she was just having a bad day, but she was rude and repeatedly passively insulting. Making claims I needed to take better care of my health in weird passive aggressive ways.

It wasn't presented in a caring practitioner manner. But more like a rude pushy aunt. The acupuncture session itself just simply didn't provide the results that I've received from every other session. Over charged and under needled The massage at the end was very nice, but I came for needles and this body work took away from that time.

However the whole experience was topped of when you're doused with this god awful smelling spray that I can only describe as smells like old socks, cardboard, and cucumbers. It was foul. I had to immediately take a shower when I got home and throw my clothes in the wash. I definitely do not recommend this business for acupuncture.

Sharon is fixing everything. EVERYTHING. My back/pelvis pain is improving and well as my TMJ. I can tell she has an immense amount of knowledge about the medicine and modalities that compliment it. I am beyond thankful I found such a competent acupuncturist. Getting better everyday!

I have had issues with plantar fasciitis on and off for almost 5 years, I did extensive physical therapy that made no difference and then my "dr" decided it was due to my weight. Sharon saw me once for a treatment, made some recommendations for changes in footwear and stretching, based on the logical use of those muscles and bones, and BAM. Fixed!

I've been walking pain free for months now, even barefoot. Sharon is a miracle worker, she has the most amazing bedside manner AND she's super sweet and easy to talk to. I can't recommend her enough.

Sharon Rose is AMAZING! No other way to put it at all. Not only has she helped fix my lower back and sciatic nerve issues, she also was more than happy to give me three acupressure points to use on my husband after he suffered about of Bell's palsy. The doctor estimated it was going to take 6 to 8 weeks for him to go from 10% muscle control back to 80%. With Sharon's couple suggestions he went from 10% muscle control to 100% muscle control in 2 weeks!

Sharon is a wonderful practitioner, compassionate and dedicated. Even during the time of coronavirus she was able to help me with a virtual session deal with some pulled muscles and give me feedback on stretches, diet changes and other things that would help me move better. It was so great to have access to that and to be able to consult with her. Highly recommend.

Since the pandemic started, my PTSD struck back up. I also suffer with IBS & some issues with PMS. I preferably like to do anything health related in a natural way. I started to see Sharon for acupuncture. Firstly, she is just a ray of sunshine! I look forward to all my visits with her. She is so friendly & has such a calming aura & makes all my worries go away.

She is ridiculously knowledgeable with her work & does everything! As the months have gone, I have been having less panic attacks. She genuinely cares about her patients & personally has taken the time to teach me exercises to do at home with my husband. Today, I had acupuncture for PMS related issues & my IBS. I haven't felt this good in years. Sharon also sent me out the door with seeds on my ears that are life changing.

Do yourself a favor & ask for these seeds, wow. My PMS & IBS issues settled after my visit & I feel so calm & happy! The office is always neat & tidy. I set up a virtual appointment with Sharon for pain in my feet that my other doctors haven't even talked to me about. Since we are in quarantine Sharon showed me self massage and pressure points that I could do to manage my pain. After only one appointment my feet feel SO much better!

When I walked into Rose City Acupuncture, I was in a lot of pain and could not stand up straight. This had been a problem for about 18 months. Sharon not only listened to me when I told her about the pain, she educated me on why my back was hurting and what needed to be done. She placed her hand on the exact spot where the pain was before I even told her where the pain was.

After two months, I am pain free! I can stand up straight! Walking the do is enjoyable again. I refer to Sharon as my "miracle worker" because I had just resigned myself to the fact that I would not stand up straight again. She is very easy to talk to and accepts the role as "teacher" when she tells you what is causing the pain, what needs to be done - and why. Sharon has given my life back to me. I can't thank her enough.

I have never had acupuncture before. I came in with a lifetime of issues, but of course there is a limit for even miracle workers so we worked on my back. I have never EVER felt things shift and move back into place like I did today. Sharon Rose you are magical and my body says a thousand thank you's. I can now resume my physical activities and exercise with my muscles back in place and my back adjusted. Amazing! And yes, I will be back! And so should all of you! Go! This was the first time I saw an acupuncturist that did massage. After assessing the treatment, I feel I would be better off seeing a massage therapist/Chi Nei Tsang practitioner for abdominal work and my hometown acupuncturist for a full acupuncture treatment. In my opinion, there just wasn't enough time to do both therapies adequately in one appointment to the point where my chronic holding patterns will release.

The massage could have been a lot more therapeutic if there was another 1 or 2 units of time. That being said I thought what was done was skillful, but not in a way where it was worth coming back.

Super kind and friendly. Felt comfortable as soon as i walked in. Talked about the exact back pain i was experiencing which i appreciated because she took the time to really understand what was actually going on rather then jumping in. As for a first timer to acupuncture, i could feel results as soon as i got off the table. The massage targeted to the exact points that were irritated and so far my pain has lessened. I will be returning next week for another session! Thank you!

Sharon helped resolve some longstanding issues I had with pain and tension in my lower back. I really appreciate what an excellent listener and problem-solver she is. She is a friendly, organized, and professional businessperson, but more importantly, she is a skilled, intelligent and perceptive practitioner. Sharon is truly an amazing practitioner. Her knowledge and attention to detail is very noticeable. I have had the best results with acute injuries and chronic pains as well. Had been having an intense, full body migraine that landed me in the ER. Medication helped a bit, but I was still in a lot of pain. After one session of acupuncture with Sharon, I felt immediate relief, followed by a complete recovery the next day. Sharon is a talented and professional practitioner. She knows the art of acupuncture and is certainly very passionate about that. She has a wonderful bedside manner and feels very approachable and welcoming. She has helped me with several health issues. She also has a great background in Osteopathic massage and ends my sessions with work on my neck/shoulder area and hip.

She usually sends me on my way with ear seeds to continually stimulate pressure points to maintain my calm after my appointments. I highly recommend Sharon at Rose City Acupuncture!

Make sure to read my first review below. It still applies. However in the years since I wrote that review, two things have changed. First is that the price has gone up to $90/session. Second, the move to Beaverton. Normally a move to the west side would easily result in a star-loss for me (I hate driving out there) but that hasn't really stopped me from making the trek to get poked when I need some pain relief or relaxation. She's that good.

I've seen Sharon twice now--once for a messed up rib/shoulder situation, and once for chronically twisting ankles. Both times, I felt a dramatic improvement immediately--80% of the pain gone in the immediate aftermath of the appointment, with continued forward progress in the days after my appointment. Sharon is passionate about what she does, and has an incredible wealth of knowledge of the human body. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Sharon is awesome! I have been in several times and each time got the help I needed. I noticed this especially the first time when I had a cough I could not overcome after a stressful move/winter. In one session, the cough was gone. I actually forgot about it and I had it for a couple of weeks! Very highly recommend this excellent healer!

Sharon is an amazing healer. I don't know how she does what she does but I don't care! I walked into her office with all but a limp because I was having such a bad pain day. I had listened to my knee click for days. I walked into Sharon's clean, beautiful office and was immediately greeted and ushered into the quiet, relaxing treatment room.

A few short minutes later I was relaxing with needles I had not felt stuck in various places. I fell asleep while "cooking", allowing the acupuncture to do its work. Leaving Rose City Acupuncture I had two thoughts, the first was, I haven't heard my knee click since I sat up. half way across the parking lot the second struck me, I haven't felt this good in a very long time. Sharon was delightful! I came in with a problem and asked for massage, and got more than I bargained for! Not only did I get a little massage, but I got my first experience with acupuncture. The results I got were not expected, and I'm so glad that I paid her a visit, I am a repeat customer for sure!

Wow, I have been looking for someone gifted/skilled in acupuncture and I found it in Sharon. My back had been bothering me for the last week and a half. I found Sharon via YELP and, honestly, it was a God send. She is really, really good and I walked out of her office feeling 10x better and this is now the following day, and I feel like myself again. What a gift to our local community! just wanted to add ourselves as 1000% satisfied clients /patients of Sharon's @ Rose City Acupuncture. there is a good reason you see consistent 5 stars ratings everywhere here. i wanted to wait for 1 full week before posting our review of this brilliant, talented, well educated & wonderful lady. why wait a week? well, because my partner came here 7 days ago to find a way to quit smoking. he had tried quitting cold turkey, tried meds such as Chantix as well as patches. within 2-3 days he was back to his old behavior. this time around, the cravings seemed to have disappeared. he is a commercial truck driver and this past week was a vacation week for him. all went well, no withdrawals, no irritability. he noticed an increase in energy level, so mush that he actually build a very beautiful flowering garden in our backyard that will always remind him of his success kicking this habit. now comes the "special" part of this review, for personal reasons, Sharon does the "quitting smoking" sessions (3 in total) for FREE. she has her reasons and when she shared it with us it made all the sense in the world. it is private, bitter sweet and absolutely appreciated. ask her when you get a chance and you will be as touched as we were. we offered her our special thank you and donation to show our appreciation. i have recommended her to our close friends and i can't wait to go see her myself for more relaxation techniques and lowering anxiety levels. thank you - thank you - thank you.!

I've had elbow tendinitis for years now. One fine day, I relaxed under Sharon's skilled hands. No more tendinitis. So simple. So much better. Scheduling was a breeze. Her office was easy to find, welcoming, clean and peaceful. Taking time to discuss my needs, she submitted herself, which put me further at ease. She has a gentle warmth and uncommon enthusiasm. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated afterward. Her tariff completely reasonable. Given my previous affliction, I'd call it a bargain. I'll be sure to come back.

I have multiple chronic health issues that fairly severly limit my quality of life. mostly with pain and lack of energy issues. Since I've been seeing Sharon, my quality of life has SIGNIFICANTLY improved because I am able to do more each day (measurable energy increase) and I'm able to enjoy the things I'm doing because my pain levels and physical comfort are also greatly improved.

I've had neck and shoulder pain for over a decade. I've tried everything under the sun -- massage, PT, chiropractic, acupuncture. I had x-rays and even an MRI, but nothing major appeared to be wrong that could be "fixed." Things would feel a little better after extended treatment, but nothing seemed to get to the root of the problem, and the pain would always return as bad as ever.

I honestly stopped believing that I'd ever be free of the pain. I got used to working through it, even while exercising. Then I discovered Sharon. Her unique and effective blend of acupuncture and medical massage have really changed my life. Sharon is far beyond the typical acupuncturist. Sure, she's a master with the needles, but she also includes some bodywork in most of her treatments. She LOVES treating "physical medicine" issues - any muscle, bone, joint, or nerve that is troubling you. Many acupuncturists specialize in internal medicine but just aren't as adept with the musculoskeletal system.

At Rose City Acupuncture, you can address all of those concerns in one visit. As an added perk, Sharon is a charming person. She's down-to-earth and will definitely not be shocked by anything you throw at her (I'm talking about unusual lifestyle choices, piercings, etc). I've known her for about a decade and she's definitely good people.

Sharon is extremely talented in relieving pain, both through acupuncture and bodywork. I've seen her for several different ailments, but I was the most impressed with the change I experienced after walking in with severe lower back pain. It was so much better than massage and chiropractic. It almost feels like your muscles are deflating (the tension/inflammation, I mean!) I've also found it very useful for stress. Sharon seems to be very passionate about what she does, and also has a very unique personality that I appreciate.

I have given her contact info to friends and even strangers I've conversed with who were complaining about pain. There are cheaper acupuncturists, but you get what you pay for. She uses TINY needles, which are high quality. Ask her for radish seeds for your ears!

Sharon's treatments are wonderful! And not just with needles but addressing and helping to move my joints better as well.

I was in terrible pain due to an adverse reaction to a new prescription from my doctor. I hadn't slept in four nights and I was taking 800 mg of Motrin every four hours to no effect. My doctor ordered blood tests and ruled out other causes and wanted to give me Percocet for the pain. I knew from experience that I would react badly to Percocet. I left the doctor's office with no hope and a possible referral to a busy rheumatologist who could see me the following week.

I knew I'd never make it. I called Sharon Rose. She made a house call and saw me that afternoon. Immediately, I was free of pain and slept that night. After 12 hours, some of the pain and swelling returned but with treatments from Sharon every other day I was soon totally off the Motrin, free of pain, free of swelling, and feeling the best I've felt in years.

Sharon is as spiritually grounded as any alternative healer I have ever met and at the same time she's refreshingly pragmatic. She gives you exactly what you need.
