Acupuncture Treatments
This is our most basic and common treatment and some form of acupuncture is always included. Depending on the patient's condition, desires and the time available, this treatment may also include one or more of the following: Chinese herbal prescription, nutritional/dietary information, therapeutic massage/bodywork, visualization/relaxation techniques and adjunct therapies (cupping, moxabustion, gua sha, etc.).
Non-Acupuncture Treatments
For those who prefer a needle-free approach we provide a treatment that includes one or more of the following: acupressure, Chinese herbal prescription, nutritional/dietary information, therapeutic massage/bodywork, visualization/relaxation techniques and adjunct therapies (cupping, moxabustion, gua sha, etc.).
Low-Cost Group Acupuncture Treatments
Close your eyes, listen to music, and relax in a reclining chair while receiving your acupuncture treatment - others in the room will be doing the same. This group format allows the practitioners to treat three patients staggered throughout one hour of time and thus charge significantly less for the treatment.
Treatments for Children (newborn to 11 years)
Chinese pediatric medicine is a very effective bodywork technique known as Pediatric Tuina. This can be performed by the practitioner, but is also easy for the parents/caregivers to learn and do at home. Chinese herbs can also be safely administered orally or topically for children and our clinic stocks common pediatric formulas. Treatments for children may also include dietary recommendations, adjunct therapies, and even a small amount of acupuncture.
Deluxe Acupuncture and Bodywork/Massage Combo
Start with all that an acupuncture treatment has to offer and follow it up with one or a combination of Asian bodywork modalities (Shiatsu, Tuina, Sotai, or Reflexology). This package is especially beneficial for anyone with pain issues as the acupuncture can loosen up muscles and promote energetic flow so that the subsequent bodywork is more effective. It is also great for anyone wanting a relaxing treat or extra attention for their condition.
Herbal and/or Dietary Consultations
We will talk to you about your health concerns and then using traditional Chinese diagnostic techniques tailor an herbal formula and/or dietary recommendations to you.

This is located in the building that includes Cafe Artista, just above the coffee shop. As you enter through the glass doors on Third Street, you can go up the stairs or utilize the elevator to your right. At the top of the stairs, the waiting room is directly in front of you. Turn left, going under the threshold with the sign: Offices 4 - 5 - 6.
Meggan Baumgartner utilizes a broad range of traditional Chinese and East Asian therapeutic modalities in her sessions. These are grouped in various combinations in order to provide her patients with the most comprehensive care. This is the most basic and common treatment and some form of acupuncture is always included.
Meggan begins your session with a brief history, assessment and evaluation. For the initial visit this takes about 30-40 minutes; subsequent visits take significantly less time. Please have questions, concerns, medical records, supplement and medication changes prepared for this time. Meggan will use all this information to determine the best treatment modalities for you.
