Do not pay for your visits in advance if Dr. Song's admin agrees to submit your claim to insurance because they will not. It's been three months and now they are not responding to my follow-ups. I told them I would pay out of pocket but they agreed to submit to my insurance since my plan covers after I meet the $300 deductible. I'm already spending thousands of dollars on other health related costs so these acupuncture visits are negligible at this point, it's just the principle and frustrating that this practice lacks integrity. For what it's worth, there are other acupuncturist nearby who are effective, and surprisingly at a lower cost, and follow through on submitting claims.

I have been having knee pain for years from sports injury in the past. I went to Dr. Song at HolliBalance for one session two years ago and the knee pain was gone. The knee pain recently returned. I didn't feel the other clinic was helping me much and the practitioner at the other clinic never answered many of my questions. The treatments I had at the other clinic was only 45 minutes compared to the two hour treatment I got from Dr. Song. By the way, Dr. Song can also tell by pulse the gender of the baby at very early stage, much earlier than what the ultrasound can tell you. She told me the accuracy of that was around 70%. But for me her prediction was spot on. I felt I was very lucky to have met Dr.

Song and carried through my pregnancy to the second trimester so far. I am a firm believer of acupuncture but I also recommend anyone who tries to get pregnant with the help of acupuncture to find the practitioner who really clicks with your personality and understands your body. Dr. Song is amazing. Best in the city. I had a very complicated and scary pregnancy with multiple issues. I could not have done it without her. Dr. Yi Song has helped me tremendously with acupuncture for anxiety. Dr. Song is a life saver.

I came to Dr. Song at the end of 2014 because I had been experiencing unexplained bloating in the lower abdominal area for over a year. I had gone through all the medical tests you could have done: MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, colonoscopy, intestinal studies, endoscopy, you name it. Nothing was found and my Western Medicine doctor does not know what to do.

After my initial evaluation and consultation with Dr. Song, she pointed out based on our lengthy conversation about my diet and lifestyle that the severe bloating I have been experiencing might be related to my digestive system and diet. Dr. Song suggest that I go on a restrictive diet and also test for different food allergies. I was not ready to change my diet and lifestyle immediately at that time and I was still in doubt what Dr.

I recently saw Dr. Song and she did seem very nice and knowledgeable. But I wasn't very impressed with how I felt after my visit. I've had pain in my foot for 6 months and I felt that after my visit I actually felt worse and the pain is more intense. I think for $240.00 for your first visit is a ridiculous price (my health insurance didn't cover the visit).

I think I would feel different if I had some relief but I feel that there are many acupuncturist in Boston who are cheaper, just as knowledgeable and are more concerned with helping you then taking your money. I understand that everyone needs to make a living but I felt that money was most important. Seeing as the first thing I did was give my credit card to someone who worked there first before the acupuncture was even done. I wish she was more concerned with helping my situation and I'm not all impressed. It was a waste of money and my foot still hurts.

Dr. Song is magic. I was having trouble getting pregnant. I went to Dr. Song for acupuncture, and I was pregnant in the first full cycle after I started weekly treatments with her. She kept treating me through my first and then third trimesters. She was flexible and accommodating and I always felt relief from my symptoms immediately after a session with her. I also went back after I gave birth to get help with some injuries I sustained during delivery. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Song.

My wife and I were not able to have IVF procedure due to insurance issues. We were left trying on our own with my sperm morphology problem. After 3 months of acupuncture treatment, sperm motility went from 3% to 9% and morphology went from 1% to 5%. We are so happy. We feel very grateful for Dr. Song's high quality care.

BEWARE of their billing department! Dr. Song is amazing and he has nothing to do with the front desk. I have had several "over" charges on my card that has taken weeks to resolve. After they fixed it the first time I decided to come back again. Three weeks later, they charged me "double because they didn't collect last visit". That's a lie! They won't even let you see the doctor til you pay!

So how would they forget that? I had the proof but the billing department won't allow it. "Tough luck". An extra 5 dollars is one thing.but they over charged 240 DOLLARS! That's a lot of money to say "tough luck" about. Update! They have informed me that I will be assessed another 120 dollars for not showing up during a state wide snow emergency. That's now 480 dollars I've been charged for a 120 dollar service. I am reporting them to the better business bureau.

I was suffering from unexplained head pain, allergies, back pain, and low energy for a whole year before I was introduced to Dr. Song at HolliBalance Well-being Center by a colleague of mine who highly recommended her. I really like HolliBalance Well-being Center...before I booked an acupuncture appointment I called my insurance company to be sure they would cover my treatments. Dr. Song's staff was willing to communicate with my insurance company as well...which is not alway the case with acupuncture centers. Most want you to pay and then submit the paperwork to your insurance company.

I have been to two other Doctor's of Acupuncture prior to finding Dr. Song. I found HolliBalance Well-being with a google search. I met with Dr. Song, whose english is very good, she is easy to understand. A typically visit w/Dr. Song is 1.5-2 hours, which I like. She is very thorough. I had foot surgery w/post-op nerve damage. I am desperate to repair the nerve damage.

I've only had five treatments, my problem is still with me but I feel it's improving. I hope with another five treatments I will be as good as new. Dr. Song is willing to work with her patients, if you don't want as many acupuncture needles or electric stimulation she will adjust to meet your needs...I take as much as she will give me because I want to be healed faster.

I don't find it uncomfortable. When I leave a session with Dr. Song I feel totally relaxed and optimistic. I highly recommend Dr. Song.
P.S. Dr. Song is also helping my with weight lose... I lost 9lbs. in 3 weeks...and also minor back & hip pain which is gone.

Dr Song is very knowledgeable in the field of Chinese Herbal Medicine. I called the HolliBalance Well-being center and was treated with great care throughout the entire process. The Acupuncture rates may be a little high when comparison shopping, but nonetheless, you get what you pay for. I definitely would recommend the HolliBalance Well-being Center.
