I was suffering from the terrible anxiety and insomnia. I went to tons of doctors and tried all possible meds, but nothing worked for me. I lost hope and didt expect much from this place either. I did acupuncture before but havent felt any difference. After the 1st treatment at Advanced Acupuncture, I couldnt believe I started feeling normal again and started actually enjoying life again.

It is a miracle. My anxiety is gone and I sleep a lot better. Dr. Maassen is one of kind. He treats your body as a whole and not as a set of different organs like in traditionally medicine. I am going to address my allergies here as well. I was super skeptical, but now I am so happy I went and I am sure he helps you too.

I have had nothing but the best results with Dr. Jens. He helped me kick cigarettes to the curb, with just one session. I've tried on my own numerous times. Coming up on 9 months smoke free! Thank you!

If you're looking for a doctor who will help you find a long-term solution to fix the root of your problem and not temporarily relieve a symptom, I highly recommend visiting Dr. Jens. For well over a decade I've been suffering from abdominal and digestive issues. I've seen an unreal number of doctors and specialists over the years who have grossly misdiagnosed me and pushed drugs on me that have only made me feel worse.

A friend recommended Dr. Jens. I was a bit hesitant at first as I've never attempted alternative types of medicine, but I was open to it. In my experience, Dr. Jens is willing to listen and genuinely cares about your health and well-being. He and his staff are also very kind and inviting. Since I have been seeing Dr. Jens, I feel that we have identified some of the true issues and started working on long term treatments.

For the first time in years, I'm actually in a comfortable place with my body. I've felt far less symptoms and started to feel real progress. If you're having abdominal and/or digestive issues and just can't seem to find positive direction, I highly recommend reaching out to Dr. Jens.

Honest and very professional doctor. Doc Jens has really good heart and approach and only treats you for what you really need. Doesnt recommend you 10 other session in order to get better. He treated my gluten and milk allergies just by one session each. I know his office is far for many of us, but def worth the drive and time. He is real treasure.

He is so knowledgeable and caring, my experience has been great not only with him but also the staff. They truly care and want you to get better. I'm thankful for the treatment I received the couple of times I've been there and will definitely go back.

Very knowledgeable, soothing atmosphere, and great bedside manner! Spent lots of time with me really listening to everything I had to say so that the appropriate treatment was administered. Everyone in the office is super friendly and accommodating.

I took my son to see Dr. Jens for chronic ear fluids due to a chronic running nose and I strongly suspected food sensitivities. I was very pleased to find out the unless the allergy testing our Dr. did, which was uncomfortable and gave no results, Dr. Jens' method is very pleasant and also confirmed some of my suspects and others. The treatment was pleasant as well and now we can finally get rid of this chronic problem.

Dr. Jens is very knowledgeable and he is also an amazing person. He gave us many tools going forward and now we can improve our diet as well. We will definitely continue with the coarse of treatment!

I was experiencing severe pain and immobility from an injury. I called Advanced Acupuncture Center and Alma was able to get me in to see Dr. Paula within an hour. Dr. Paula examined me and treated me right away. Her expertise was evident immediately. She treated pretty much my entire body. She took her time, explained each aspect of treatment, noted and mentioned issues I had not even brought to her attention, and the result was wonderful.

I was surprised at the immediate relief I received as I had been treated elsewhere years ago with acupuncture without result. I honestly felt 90 % better! Everyone I met in the office was professional, nurturing, and genuinely seemed to care. I really can't say enough great things about this practice.

Dr. Jens is so amazing and changed my life forever! He is extremely caring and makes sure you feel comfortable and listened to. If you have any pain, stomach issues, allergy problems, or hormonal problems, go to Dr. Jens. You will not be sorry! I had chronic pain for over 6 years and doctors told me the pain could last for a lifetime. 3 months of spread out acupuncture, and my pain is gone!

I also had terrible stomach problems causing me to throw up daily for years, and doctors told me nothing was wrong with me. The first session, Dr. Jens spent over an hour listening to everything that was wrong with me, and was able to diagnose that I had severe allergies to sugar, fish, fish oil, and fruit. He has "reintroduced" my body to all of these things and I am officially not allergic to any of the above and haven't thrown up in months!

I couldn't turn my head, I couldn't exercise, it hurt to sit at my desk at work and I wasn't able to sleep. On my first visit, Dr. Maassen spent over an hour with me gathering medical history and answering my questions. I've never had a care provider give me that much 1 on 1 attention. I've now been a patient for 8 months and always have a relaxing and therapeutic experience when I visit AAC. For those who are wondering, the needles are not painful at all. Give it a try!

I am writting this review after my last of twelve sessions. The sessions were my choice for both a reoccurring intestinal problem, (as I am a colon cancer survivor), as well as a face rejuvenation treatment. I noticed results in both areas after the second treatment, and I felt a continual improvement as time went on. I also chose to take treatments every other week so it would fit into my schedule and I would have the choice to stop at any time.

I was so amazed at the relaxing, proffessional, and knowledgable manner in which Yens (The Dr. of Acupunture) treated me. My face had a much more vibrant look as well as a significant difference in the lines around my eyes and the mouth. I loved how all products used are completly natural. Hands down, Jens is just wonderful! Not only excellent at his acupuncture, he is also versed in Chinese medicine and nutrition. He personally has experience with Gerson Therapy, and I was just impressed he had even heard of it! He is truly a caring person and wants to help you improve your health and wellness. What a nice change! No upselling here in this office, and you receive plenty of time and attention in your appointment. Jens also offers NAET if you are seeking allergy relief.

My husband has seen Jens and also my young son (age 3 for NAET). I find Jens to be an amazing resource and can always count on feedback from him as I modify and improve my personal health & wellness plan. We are so lucky to have his Centre right here in Livermore! Parking is easy with space in front of his office, or in front of the other residential buildings. I also find it easy to make appointments, and there isn't a huge back log where you have to wait.
