Animal Place Veterinary Hospital

We visited Animal Place for an emergency visit at 10pm on a Friday night after our dog was attacked by another dog earlier in the evening. The team was so calm and put us at ease. They also assessed the situation well by asking for pictures ahead of time to make sure they could help, and made sure we were ok with the cost before performing the recommended procedure. We would definitely recommend their urgent care services in particular!

Caring and compassionate pet care! That's what my indoor-only cat got after she unexpectedly spent several days roaming in the woods. As soon as she was home, I took her to The Animal Place for a checkup. Although she looked fine, they gave her deworming medicine and a flea treatment, just in case she had contracted something nasty from her adventure.

The veterinarian, Dr. Mallela, and a veterinary technician (sorry, I didn't get her name) combed mats out of my cat's long fur. I really appreciate their kind attentions to my beloved pet.

Very friendly staff and vets. The expanded hours and urgent care after hours make this vet office very convenient.

I had two dogs (Cachito and Taquito) attended by Dr. DeAnna. Dr. DeAnna and her staff are very friendly and attentive.

Visited for a Vetsulin prescription, Dr. did not ask any questions or care to ask for more info. I found it very odd she just wrote a prescription and said " just go pick it up somewhere" I asked where again? She stated "ohh we don't carry VETSULIN here, you have to go pick it up at a any regular pharmacy like cvs." I asked " are you sure they carry that there?" And the DR reassured me that this is what everyone does to get their pets Insulin.

I immediately thought something was off however she is a professional. (DR. DEANNA ) later I visited the cvs pharmacy. I was very disappointed to learn that what the Dr. had said was NOT true. CVS does NOT carry medications for pets. this was very stress as I'm running in circles to get the CORRECT information. I called the Vet back for more information.

The story completely changed. Now they said the only place to pick up Vetsulin is Costco. as if I had mentioned to them I had a Cosco card or membership. why would they give me a written prescription and assume I have a Costco card? This was very lazy help on ANIMAL PLACE ASPEN HILL. I spoke to another person there and they mentioned placing a order and having it shipped to the house. WHY WAS THAT NOT MENTIONED AT THE FIRST PLACE? very very lazy work and help. Be on your game and question the DR. Unfortunately its the only way to get down to the correct answers. Don't just take their word for it.

This is a great veterinary hospital.the staff is very attentive and professional. The vets are wonderful. They make you feel like your pet is the greatest. Highly recommend

We have been going to the Animal Place Veterinary Hospital for about three years. We have a very challenging dog, both behaviorally and medically. From the start, Dr. Davis and Dr. Gardsbane have been very accommodating and friendly. We feel like we always get very thorough explanations. They have never rushed us through an appointment. I feel like both doctors are very interested in my dog's well-being, and I have never felt like they are taking advantage of us, financially. It is such a relief to find veterinarians that we can trust in every way.

Moved to the area recently and have taken my kitty cat there after she had an accident with her tail. Vet and techs have been really great. I really like that they care about the treatment of your animals and don't want to manhandle them just to get the job done. They take their time to make the animal feel comfortable and I appreciate that. This will be my new primary vet.

Listen: 5 stars do not do them justice. They deserve the milky way. My dog is 15 years old; but, with their care, he might just make it another 15 years. The entire staff is super and, believe it or not, my Luke looks forward to his vet visits. They are not stuck on traditional treatments - they practice leading edge veterinary medicine to include: cold laser treatments; acupuncture; oriental herbs and the latest in breaking veterinarian medicine developments. To put the icing on the cake, they are quite reasonable.

Moved here 5 months ago and I am usually scared of up selling by Vets but this place was great. They did not try to up sell any products or anything. I went with 2 cats in the same cat carrier and they gave me a free carrier before I left! Staffs are nice and friendly. They followed up next day to know how my cats doing. I would recommend people going there

I've been going to Animal Place for about two years now. I can certainly say that I've been more than happy with the service and care that I and my animals (two dogs and two cats) have received there. Everyone is very professional, friendly and helpful. No matter which doctor I see, I feel comfortable with the care that my animals are getting. I also buy prescription pet food there, and have been satisfied with that service as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone wanting the best care for their pets.

I would highly recommend The Animal Place! I've been a loyal client for years, and completely trust the doctors to provide competent, comprehensive care to my pets. My dogs also love the attention they get from the staff. They always greet my pets by name and take the time to give them individualized cuddling and praise. The doctors and staff take their time and are great listeners. I've never felt rushed and always leave feeling that my pets received the best treatment possible.
