Hands down, one of the top things I see in my practice is gut problems with bacterial overgrowth in. When do you start to wonder if there is something more going on in your gut than just a little. Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, or SIBO, is often the reason for gut symptoms such as bloating, gas, abdominal pain, spasm, .

We are born with our bodies knowing what to do. They actually have a plan for us to be successful and flourish. They want us to eat great food, breath fresh air and drink fresh water. And, replenish our energy with a restful nights sleep. They do not want us to be overweight and develop diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer and all of the health problems that can stem from being overweight.
Now that we can perform DNA testing on a person's entire genome we are finding many different gene snippets, or SNP's that correlate with different diseases. Everything from cancers to diabetes, Parkinson's disease and ALS. It is very easy to take away the message that our genes are our health fate.
We all want infinite horizons for our children. But, here's a new fact to ponder. Our children are now developing adult type diabetes before they are even out of high school, and may be the first generation to live shorter sicker lives than their parents because of it. There is something very wrong with that picture.
I'll be the first to admit. I'm a bit amazed at the number of patients I see here in the San Jose area and the Silicon Valley who have been unable to get satisfactory testing and treatment for IBS and SIBO from their doctors. After all, it is the mecca of all things tech. Hands down, one of the top things I see in my practice is gut problems with bacterial overgrowth in the bowel.

Dr. Haiden is one of the most passionate and caring doctors I have ever met. I have never had a doctor listen to me and try to find the root cause of my health issues. She spends a significant amount of time understanding my specific issues and always takes the time to respond to my phone calls/emails. I'm grateful I found Dr. Haiden, I know I'm in good hands under her care.

I could not be happier with Dr Haiden's care. I have been to many doctors over the years for a serious and complex medical issue and those visits led to more frustration, and more questions than answers. It has been so refreshing to work with Dr Haiden, who is very knowledgeable and thinks outside of the box. She is resourceful and thorough, and for the first time since i've been on this medical journey, I know i'm in good hands. I can recommend Dr Haiden without hesitation.

Dr. Ann Haiden provided a thorough review of my medical history. Her recommendations were specific. She provided a written summary of the appointment findings and her holistic and traditional treatment recommendations. She was well-informed, empathetic, and caring. I highly recommend a consultation with her.

Dr. Haiden (a DO is pretty much ljust like an MD) is wonderful and will spend time with me and treat the underlying cause of the problems I am having, not just give pills on top of pills. She works with difficult to treat patients and is very committed to healing. I can't say enough good things about her. She is brilliant and really cares. Her website says more about what she does.
