Patty gives the coolest haircuts if you want to go hip. Eva is a really good colorist. Not cheap on the wallet, but you come out looking like a Queen.

My first appointment at Blue Remedy - I just moved to Mahopac in March of this year. I had cut, color and style with Patty. I really needed it! Patty is terrific and this salon is lovely. My hair looks perfect and the price was very reasonable ($117 compared to the $180 I averaged in my lower Westchester salon). Patti also does the purples, greens, and "modern" colors my twenty-something sons and daughters love. I already made another appointment. Easy parking. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.

After being in the ocean and pool all summer, my hair was super dry and brassy. I was warmly greeted when I walked in and explained to Gina what I was looking for. Gina is a sweetheart! She is kind, talented and just a pleasure to chat with. She listened to what I was looking for and gave suggestions. Nicole gave a great wash. All the Aveda products smell so good. I walked out with beautiful, shiny, healthy looking hair. Bye bye brassy color hair :

Went to this salon as i was over due for a cut & color.had not found the time to get to my lady in the city. I was in the area and gave them a shot. Great color and cut with Eva! the salon is nice with very friendly staff and reasonable pricing. I will return. Highly recommend!

I emailed thru Yelp and Alexis, the owner, got back to me almost instantly. I was greeted by the receptionist and Nicole showed me to a chair and offered me a refreshment. Alexis came up to me almost instantly and we talked about what I wanted. I had 3 or 4 photos to show her and she went to work.it was if she knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I have been having my hair colored for 30 years from Manhattan to Paris and I can honestly say that Alexis got it PERFECTLY right the first time! Color, cut and blow dry.all very well done! Rare gem! I was well taken care of and will be back again and again! PS.And.the scent of the place is heavenly;

Love, love, love, love Blue Remedy! It was recommended by a friend but it took a scheduling mix up at another salon for me to try it--as a walk in. They couldn't have been more welcoming, professional, friendly and accommodating! I was so pleased with the color that Ava selected for me and she was so friendly and patient. I came back for a scheduled appointment with her and a big haircut change.

Not only did she discuss style options and pros and cons via pictures and experience but she gave me the PERFECT cut and style. I am so happy and can't recommend them enough. It is a lovely, serene, clean and zen-like salon right in the heart of Mahopac. I would travel quite a distance for Ava and this salon and on top of it all it is very reasonably priced!

I LOVE THIS SALON! I went here with a hair catastrophe! My old stylist turned my hair BLUE. it was a nightmare. Alexis and her staff were understanding of my crazy anxiety about hair color and my hair has not looked this good since I moved to the area. I am not kidding! The prices are reasonable the staff is adorable and they are truly the best! I have lived here for 13 years and have never been happy with my hair until now. LIFESAVERS!

This place is a real great find! I got a great cut here recently from a friendly and talented stylist (Alicia). The salon is well-run, clean and organized. It's a cute space too, nicely decorated. I grew up in Mahopac and was back for a visit. For whatever reason, I always had a negative feeling about the businesses in downtown Mahopac. I'm glad I didn't let that unfounded prejudice keep me away from Blue Remedy! I would come back here for sure.

Blue Remedy is top of the line hair salon. I started coming here since 2007. I've been seen the same hair dresser and she's incredible. Margaret knows exactly how to style my hair. She pays close attention to every detail. I get tons of compliments on every haircut. When Margaret has been away, I have seen Alexis (owner) and Alicia, both equally as talented and meticulous about doing the best job. If you go on Saturday, you are greeted with pastries from Cafe Piccolo. I recommend BR for all your hair needs.
