First of all, Dr. Bob was late by up to an hour for most of his "phone consultations" that took him a maximum of 5 minutes. Second, and more importantly, he wanted me to see some random doctor at an urgent care called Dr. Ludwig in order to get on heavy pharmaceuticals for a gut parasite I'm not sure I have. I consulted with my own GP first who insisted I get tested for that parasite before going on heavy anti-parasitics, which is obviously a good idea.

When I told Dr. Bob that I hadn't seen this mysterious Dr. Ludwig at some urgent care in Silverdale (how sketchy is that?), Dr. Bob started bullying me over the phone for getting a second opinion, then listed off his own credentials ad nauseam. When I told him repeatedly that this was unnecessary and immature and made me feel deeply uncomfortable, he responded by telling me that, in not going to see some random urgent care doctor for heavy pharmaceuticals with no test for the parasite, I had betrayed him somehow. "The trust is broken, " he said.

I asked if I should cease treatment with him, and he said yes. The immaturity, irresponsibility and overall sketchiness of that is mind-boggling. I believe wholly in Chinese medicine and in holistic, alternative treatments, but this level of narcissism and controlling behavior is absolutely unacceptable, from any doctor of any kind. Grow up, Bob. Thankfully, they issued me a full refund, but this is insane, manipulative, controlling and abusive behavior. Shame on you, Bob Doane. Shame on your entire operation here. At this point, I think you're probably a fraud.

The Wellness Center has literally changed my life for the better. I was taking prescription medications for a form of RA and with the expertise of Robert Doane and staff, I no longer have any symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and have completely eliminated two of three medications. I am absolutely thrilled and thankful. I highly recommend The Wellness Center.

When I started here 6months ago I knew my health was very poor. I was way over weight and knew that my heart would be bad and I would have diabetes if I didn't do something soon. I needed medications daily for pain, swelling, acid reflux, restless legs, cramps in all of my muscles including around my heart. I was weak and got short of breath just trying to tie my shoe.

In the last six months, I have lost 40lbs and still working, I am off all my medications and doing well, my pain level has gone from a 9/10 most everyday to a 0-1/10 daily. I do not have swelling, and my energy level has climbed back to when I was in my 30's. I am sleeping well and best of all, I am no longer putting chemicals in my body that don't belong there.

The people who work here are kind and understanding and were never judgmental, just helpful and encouraging. Its worth every penny I have spent. If you are considering it, try it. Ive never regretted the decision to fully commit

Okay, if your in need of not only feeling better but getting better. You have to make an appointment, for years I've been dealing with many issues, and they actually listen and can set you on the correct path. I'm no longer taking prescription pills or the spray for my allergies, which have subsided greatly. I was on the verge of diabetes and now am below the threshold.

My weight has decreased from 260 to 226, and continuing to go down. My acid reflux is just about gone. I'm more alert, focused and able to stay awake through out the day. My high blood pressure is now back in a healthy range, so looking forward to stop taking those pills soon. Cholesterol is getting into a normal range again.

Great experience with the staff and appreciate all the explanations on acupuncture and our program we have set up. first time for me, they really do make it easy being driven by their desire to make my life better. Look forward to the next year, Jerry Bannister

Kyleen takes special interest in both of us. Over the past year she has resolved several long term issues for both of us. The bottom line is that our General Health is much better now than a year ago. We are pleased.

Meeting Bob and his staff gave me a sense of relief, my health has been in a rampage for the last 10 years. Within a week of using the herbal teas I have to say I slept better! My energy level has increased. Still dealing with my issues, but more confident I'm doing baby steps forward for recuperating! I live in Florida, but met the staff during a visit in Seattle. Love talking to his staff and feel confident!

Everyone I have worked with takes the time to listen to what I need and not just tell me what they think I need. I feel fantastic, like a new person!

This place and the knowledge I have received here has changed my life drastically. I have lost 47 lbs so far, learned how to eat, Im no longer in pain everyday. I wake up refreshed in the morning able to move and function. My mind is clearing, I was getting so forgetful, and I am off all of the medications I use to take for all my ailments that made life so difficult for me. Ive even been able to start exercising again, I couldnt do that eight months ago when I came here. This place has given me tools to live my life with purpose again.

One month of treatment and the pain that I have been living with for 18 years is subsiding. Skepticism kept me away from healing for too long.

A 6 year lower back problem keeps diminishing with every treatment with Mr. Jonathan gives me. He's caring and will answer ANY question I throw at him. Meg Frodel, CMT, L.Ac. was working in Oakland, CA when I went to her weekly for cranio-sacral therapy once per week throughout the summer of 2018. She has since moved to the Poulsbo Acupuncture and Wellness Center. That's a huge gain for people local to Poulsbo WA and for when I visit in that ultra green realm. She is officially the cranio-sacral therapist at the Wellness Center in Poulsbo.

When Meg worked on me, I got to experience complete relief from hip and lower back pain, and amazingly complete relief from thigh tendinitis that rendered me incapable of running and taking long walks for exercise. The relief lasted through most of the week between appointments and steadily improved as I continued to attend the weekly appointments.

I had tried electro-stim acupuncture from renown Chinese medicine practitioners on the faculty of local TCM colleges in the SF Bay area to no avail. Meg worked on me in several massage modalities for 1.5 hours per visit and got me back into functional status. She has amazing insight into human bodies. Meg retired from a career as a professional singer and dancer on NYC stages and took a decade to study advanced styles of bodywork.

I can give my most enthusiastic recommendation to her. She gets results on the first visit and even better results upon subsequent visits as she gains insight into a particular individual. Her move to Poulsbo leaves me hard pressed to find a replacement, but those in the Poulsbo area are fortunate to have her.

Bob saved my life, simply put. About a year ago I went to his acupuncture and wellness clinic in very poor health. I was so Ill I was actually in the process of having my will made out. Since my first visit I have lost over 70 lbs, my heart murmur is gone and the diagnosis of congestive heart failure is no longer on my records. Needless to say this is "The Best Care Ever Received" anywhere in my long life.

I now have the energy I had in my thirties; I can now sleep after years of insomnia, and the painful areas around my body are gone or 90% less. In my 70's I am now back to working full time, building a vacation home and enjoying life. It is my guess that this clinic sees +/- 100 patients a day- they are very efficient. Anyone who gives this clinic a chance to work there magic, and go the distance, for at least 90 days will be very pleased with the life changing results. I am living proof.

My first visit with this clinic and Dr Bob I'm feeling extremely positive about my care for a very difficult diagnoses. left here smiling and ready to fight this battle. Dr. Bob and staff are the best in my book.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. however. Bob is a great salesman when you are agreeing with him. I had no treatments done and decided not to go forward with being treated at this center. Bob was infuriated with me and threatened not to give me my full cash refund if I was not quiet. He is a great salesman - but if he is an honest businessman he would have gladly returned me my money without making me feel as though I was somehow in the wrong for not wanting to pay up front for treatments that I decided against. SCAM! ALERT!

On his "treatment" of me, I would have been ingesting at least 125 pounds of his herbs (at.95 cents an ounce). His dietary guidelines are Keto with green veggies - nothing else. STAY AWAY!

Wife was subject to fillers that caused major reactions to her celiacs. She addressed this early on as a side affect, to only be put back on the same tea. While I was supposed to gain weight, I was asked EverytimeHow much weight have you lost?.Definitely not reading my chart. Or caring about the side effects it causes by their fillers, not all natural thats for sure. I would Not recommend Bob, for $$ is more important than truly helping the individual! :

This place is a Scam and horrible! I have severe Stomach pains and was hoping this would help as i have never tried this avenue before. I was willing to try the program and signed up that's when i started having issues. I had 1 appointment, 1 phone appointment and some herbs that made me sick and in more main than not taking anything at all. I decided this was not going to work for me as i couldn't handle the pain anymore and returned to taking my prescription medications from the specialist.

They called me a year later and told me i owed them about 1500. I asked them for a detailed bill as i didn't continue to treatment because of how sick it made me. The rude person on the phone told me that they had already sent me one and that they would not give me another! I wouldn't have asked if i had one. Instead they sent it to their attorney and are now garnishing my pay for a thousand total which is totaling more than the original package should have been, for 1 in person visit, 1 phone visit and 1 herb package. Watch out for this clinic i have heard similar things have happened to a few other people i have talked to!
