Dr. Messina has been fantastic. I am a new patient who came to him through a "word of mouth referral" that told me "he was the best". I basically crawled into his office on my first visit with chronic back issues and within a few weeks he has my symptoms under control and I am now getting around without pain. Along with the treatment Dr. Messina has given some great suggestions for home to help as well. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I am having an unbelievable experience with Dr. Messina after being some what skeptical about letting anyone do any type of adjustments on me. I went in with pain in my hips neck, back, arms and hands and through his diagnostics, (which were right on ) and skilled hands I feel so much better, . I'm confident in his understandings and see that this type of treatment needs to be part of my personal maintenance program. Thanks so much for your expertise and for the time you spend explaining things to me and helping me create better postural habits. 5 stars for me.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Messina. I have neck and back problems that have needed more attention in the past few years. He has literally saved me from living a life of chronic pain. I recently had a neck injury whereby I could not move my neck and experienced excruciating pain. Dr. Messina went out of his way and worked around his schedule to help heal me every single day for over a one week time period.

I had not experienced anything like this before and I was fragile to say the least. Dr. Messina's level of attention, knowledge and carefulness in treating me got me back to normalcy. There is no doubt that because of him, I can live the type of active lifestyle that I want to live without the fear of pain.

I am sitting here writing this review PAIN-FREE for the first time in years. After the first visit / adjustment, I walked out of the office in awe of the results. I have seen other chiropractors before with varied results so I never imagined I would have this much relief after just one adjustment. I had gotten used to having chronic lower back pain and accepted it would be with me for the rest of my life - when Dr Messina told me the goal would be zero pain I laughed to myself in disbelief. Who's laughing now? This is life-changing stuff.

I started having some TMJ jaw pain around five years ago and it had progressively gotten much worse recently turning into migraines and neck/temple pain. I went to my dentist and tried a couple massage therapists to try and fix the issue with minimal results. I've never tried a chiropractor before and I didn't have high expectations but after just two visits to Messina family chiropractic my jaw pain is only about 10% of what it was and the migraines are gone. Dr Messina is extremely knowledgeable and has taken the time to determine exactly what was causing my issue. If you are experiencing any similar symptoms I'd strongly recommend going to him.

When I was 17 I experienced a tremendous amount of arm pain due to a rotator cuff injury from years of pitching in baseball. I ended up having surgery at 18 and nothing had been the same since. I've seen two physical therapists (before surgery and after) and by both of their standards, my shoulder had been cured but I always experienced pain and discomfort when I tried throwing. Dr. Messina helped me get my arm back to its old self and now at the age of 20 I feel I've started to finally overcome this injury.

I knew I was in good hands after the first appointment because he found strained locations on my arm that I did not even realize were weak/ in pain even as a consistent gym goer. After only 4 appointments I finally got to experience the excitement that I used to get when throwing a baseball which come from stress free velocity. There is still work to be done to fully correct this issue but I know I would be doing myself a disservice if I stopped making appointments.

So for roughly the same price of a physical therapist give Dr. Messina a visit and see what he can do for you. I feel as if he did everything and more. You may just need a few adjustments to unlock strength that you were already capable of. I wish I had made an appointment sooner.

Thanks to the pandemic isolation, I had developed a long list of health challenges, many of them structural. I found Messina Family Chiropractic (MFC) through Google reviews as well as looking at Facebook group recommendations and Yelp. MFC had the highest number of 5 star reviews in Google that were pretty detailed. I looked at the website - I'd heard of A.R.T. (Active Release Technique) but had never experienced it and it intrigued me.

So I called and was able to be seen within a couple of days. I went into the session knowing that I'd be self pay - my insurance didn't cover it and it was cash/checks only. Dr. Messina used a great combo of soft tissue work and movement (A.R.T.), a drop table, and the smallest gentle crunches. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. I continued with MFC for a concentrated series of treatments, until I was no longer in acute mode.

I've branched out to start receiving reflexology, massage and other forms of bodywork to integrate all the changes started with the chiropractic. If you're looking for a dynamic, effective, kick-start to healing a structural issue, it's worth a visit to MFC to see if it's a good fit for you. I'm certainly glad I did.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Messina for chiropractic care. I'm a 63 year old man that hurt his back bending over! That move immobilized me for a week! I wasn't improving, so I considered my options. I could; continue home treatment, call my primary care physician, go to the ER, or follow my son-in-law's advice and call Dr. Messina. I decided the best choice for me was treatment administered directly to the root of my injury, which was the chiropractic choice.

I called Dr. Messina and got an appointment for the next morning. Dr. Messina evaluated my condition and was able to make a quantum step improvement in my condition on the spot. My home treatment had not made any significant improvement in a week, whereas after the first visit with Dr. Messina I went home and rode my mower around the yard. I saw Dr. Messina two days later and he improved my ability to sit, walk and stand dramatically.

I'm going back tomorrow for a third visit. His care has improved my condition beyond what I could have done on my own, or if I had chosen the other commonly accepted medical care choices. Dr. Messina provides prompt, easily accessible, quality health care that actually helps people! I'm a fan!

I cant say enough good things about Dr. Messina. I walked into his office not knowing what to expect but I did know that my body has been in a lot of pain for years and I was hoping he would be able to help. Not only has he gone above and beyond so far with getting my body and joints starting to work how they should, he also also been going out of his way to show my proper techniques and shared his knowledge of how are bodys are designed to work. every time I walk out of his office not only does my body as a whole feel better, but I also take home a new piece of information that I can use everyday. I have been seeing Dr. Messina every two weeks for almost a year now. A friend recommended him to me and I can't tell how much better I feel! You will be hard pressed to find someone as professional, knowledgeable and helpful as Dr. Messina. Regardless of your goals, Dr. Messina will help and support you. He will never push or be overly insistent.

In addition to soft tissue work and the benefits of being adjusted regularly, Dr. Messina also taught me a couple of stretches that have changed my life. I have been to a few chiropractors and hands down Dr. Messina is my favorite. I would recommend him to anyone without a second thought!

Dr. Messina is excellent. He is a true healer and extremely knowledgeable, knowing exactly how to adjust and fix any ailment that I come in with. I love that he not only adjusts, but also does soft tissue treatment. On top of that, he gives specific advice on how to keep my body feeling great on my own. He has also helped me tremendously throughout my pregnancy. I am very grateful that I found Dr. Messina and highly recommend his practice.

I have been having chiropractic treatments for many years, but stopped going during the pandemic. After not seeing a chiropractor for several months, I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain as well as lower back pain. I started going to Dr. Messina when I need to get some treatment. I chose Dr. Messina because of the good reviews he had received.

After several weeks of treatment my pain had been reduced considerably. What I especially appreciated was that he did a variety of manipulations depending upon my specific circumstances rather than the same manipulations over and over again as my previous chiropractor had done.
