Dr. Elia has been freeing people from pain since 1983 when he first opened his practice in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. In 2000 he opened a second office in Fort Lee, NJ and split his time between the two locations. In 2004 he moved the Woodcliff Lake office to Emerson. As a Chiropractor who has treated thousands of patients over the last 25 years Dr. Elia is a committed physician with a wealth of knowledge of the human body beyond just the muscular skeletal aspects.Dr. Elia uses a "whole person approach" when taking care of his patients.
We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before.
Modern health science is the practice of categorization and standardization. The human being experience is a uniquely individual one. Unless diagnosis and treatment is individualized, when it comes to health care, science will be woefully inadequate. There are two main things that separate the care in our office from many other doctors.
Currently, we are not contracted with some of the larger insurance companies such as BC/BS, Aetna, and Cigna etc. All of these insurance companies have major medical benefits. Which means that you may have to meet a deductible prior to receiving coverage. We will assist you with affordable payment plans.

Doctor Elia genuinely CARES about his patients. You are treated like family and he takes the time to LISTEN, often a lost art these days. Doc Elia has helped all the members of my family tremendously, and he has a great heart. His work treating allergy patients is nothing short of extraordinary. I am grateful for him and his practice.
