Our approach is simple. We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they've lost their health, our commitment is two-fold. We're committed to teaching our patients that true health is a journey, not a destination. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care.
It all started with my grandfather Dr. George Pushies. He was the first in the family to become a chiropractor. And now I am the third Pushies to graduate from Palmer and establish a clinic, continues Dr. Pushies. Dr. Pushies began her pre-chiropractic education at Michigan State University where she studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses. After completing her study there, she was accepted at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. Think of an adjustment as "tuning" a piano, adjusting each string so it produces the perfect tone.
If you've ever gone to a social event where you didn't know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship can go the distance.

This pillow is especially great for napping on the couch. It keeps my head and neck comfortably supported in a healthy position. I wish I had a second one, only with a cotton cover, which would be cooler for sleeping at night. The people at Pushies were so kind and helpful. They gave out the pillows with no pressure and also provided helpful advice on taking good care of your posture and spine. I would not hesitate to go there for chiropractic needs.

For the first time in years I'm able to turn my head again! I had no idea that a lot of the issue I was dealing with was due to the strain on my neck at night while I slept. Received a free Pushies Neck Pillow and a 15 minute consultation on how best to use. Dr. Ann Pushies was wonderful, kept to the 15 minutes in going over the tips, and did not try to sell any thing else. Slept with the neck pillow for the last three nights, Best neck pillow ever! Have not slept that well in years.
