In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves. How does this affect you? Your nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of your body.

I wanted to share my wonderful experiences I have experienced at Van Born Chiropractor Clinic. The staff is amazing 1st off always kind and respectful. When scheduled they try their best to accommodate. So with the treatment, I decided to try chiropractic care due to my migraine headache that I have had for over 20 yrs. When I had my 1st visit I did not realize how much mobility I was limited in my neck as well and also my back, after 3 to 4 week of treatment I totally feel a difference for the better and at that point not even realizing I did not have a headache in 3 weeks ( which I get 3 to 4 times a week). 2 months later and I feel great.
Both doctors are amazing and I highly recommend. I also want to add I worked for primary care offices, internet medicine, OB/GYN specialist as well as urgent care and occupational medicine, and never do they recommend chiropractic care which now baffling me even more, in 20 yrs trying to get relief of severe migraine headaches where taking care of in a matter of weeks with the help of Van Born Chiropractor.
Both doctors are amazing and I highly recommend. I have been going to Van Born Chiropractic for almost 40 years. Initially from a car accident and then just to keep my body going from my employment. Dr. Renee and Dr. Don are very knowledgeable and do great adjustments. My husband also goes there and feels much better. Love the office stuff too. They are very nice.

I've been going to Van Born Chiropractic Clinic since 1993 and if you are having any problems from your head to your feet this is the place to go. Very friendly and the doctors will work with you to make you feel better. They helped me with the pain in my neck, hip, leg and I feel more energetic then before.

We my daughter and I LOVE Dr. Renee she is getting my daughter body aligned which I cam see from her daily activities. I was so impressed that I now receive chiropractic treatment from them. My wife and I have been patients at the clinic for the last 3 years. The kind of care and treatment that we have received from Dr. Renee and Dr. Don has been nothing less than exemplary. My wife first checked in to get treated for chronic back pain which she had for years. From initial assessment by studying x-rays, checking range of motion and finally explaining the treatment required to address the issue, the overall experience that she received was both reassuring and comforting.
The pain that she had for the last few years just went away! There are loads of other times where I have checked in for a quick adjustment because of injuries like snow shoveling / lifting something heavy and I experienced much relief as opposed to suffering for a few days and not being able to perform mundane activities like walking. The staff is also very friendly and accommodate patients' request for same day appointment to the best they can. Overall, I am extremely happy that we have been able to be treated by Dr. Renee and Dr. Don.
They set themselves apart by offering the best overall experience compared to many other places (across the US) that I have been to, over the last 10 years when I have chosen to get chiropractic care.
