My name is Dr. Jason Ledford and I'm the founder and owner of Ledford Chiropractic in Calhoun, Ga. I'd like to share a little about myself and also the reasons I am a chiropractor. I am originally from Rome, GA but now live in Calhoun, GA. My wife, Krista, and I have three daughters who have always lived the chiropractic way.
Chiropractic care is like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully.
Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.

Dr Ledford is a great guy! The challenge is they book 3 people at the same time every 16 minutes plus accept emergencies so you never get back at your appointment time! I have been up to 45 minutes sitting waiting for a 10 min. apt. I have broached this multiple times with them and they said well this just happens and all Dr's do this. I have heard the front office staff negatively talking about patients on multiple occasions. It is to bad that a great Chiropractor is being negatively affected by the front office staff and their booking process.

I would recommend Ledford Chiropractic to anyone. Dr. Mayberry & Dr. Whynot are awesome! The first time I saw Dr. Mayberry, she told me that she could help me. Thanks to her I was pain free for the first time in a long time. I have seen Dr. Whynot a few times, and she has also helped me. Not only do they help in that regard, but they care about what is going on in your life and take the time to ask how you are doing. I always feel better after my appointment.

Dr Mayberry always takes the time to listen to what hurts, what's new, and give custom care- every single visit. I have been to too many chiropractors who listen only the first visit, and then give the same adjustment every single time. Dr Mayberry and the staff at Ledford Chiropractic are like family.

I have never been to these people, however, This office's phone number was entered into my Medical records in Rome Georgia in an apparent attempt to have someone link my Medical Records Portal Access to their phone number. When I contacted them to question this, the Receptionist refused to give her name and hung up the phone. My actual Medical Professionals have been advised and this is being investigated. I certainly would never trust this group to provide any services whatsoever.there is something very shady about this office. Beware.

After years of suffering with neck pain from a severely bulging disk I decided to try Dr. Ledford at the recommendation of a friend. The relief was immediate. That's been over 12 years ago. I've routinely visited Dr. Ledford ever since and I now VERY rarely have any pain at all. If you've never tried Chiropractic care before I could not recommend Dr. Ledford more. You will not be disappointed.

I have been loyal, but I cannot deal with the extremely long wait times anymore. I had a 9:00 appointment that I waited three weeks for, waited over an hour, and had to leave to go to work. The receptionist offered to reschedule me two more weeks out. Very disappointed and still in pain. Seems like they intentionally overbook Dr. Ledford.

Ledford is the best! My husband has been going to Ledford for years and our son has been going since he was born (we have learned chiropractic care is very beneficial for children and you can start as soon as they're born). I have long been afraid of getting adjusted but felt comfortable enough with Ledford to become a patient myself. He is extremely knowledgeable and I respect his desire to continue learning as he often travels to conferences and seminars. He treats us like family and makes us feel at home when we go for a visit. Five stars, hands down.

I have had the pleasure of having two visits with Dr. Catherine Harris and I have to say that this young Lady is amazing. She is very smart and knows what to do when it comes to my problems. My body feels amazing after two visits. She is so kind and understanding, she makes me feel special as I sure that she does with all her patients. I highly recommend her to any one in need of a chiropractic. I give Dr. Harris a big 5 star rating!

I just need to reiterate how wonderful it is to have a good chiropractor. I hurt my back on Labor Day, so much so that I couldn't even walk fully upright and couldn't sleep that night. The next day, I had an early appointment in Atlanta, and when I was finished, I drove straight to Dr. Ledford's office. I immediately noticed a difference and could straighten my back to a greater degree, even though it was still really sore and tender.
I went for my standing appointment in Atlanta this morning, and the nurse was completely astonished at how much better I was getting around after only one adjustment. My back keeps feeling better with each passing moment!
