Services
Sojourns Community Health Clinic was founded as an innovative response to the need for a change in how our culture views health and delivers healthcare. To establish integrated multi-disciplinary practitioner teams as the norm because they offer patients a depth of perspective in diagnosis and treatment options which greatly exceeds that of any single discipline.
Dr. Haltinner has been a health care practitioner for over 30 years. Prior to founding Sojourns, she ran a successful private practice serving over 2000 families as Saxtons River Family Chiropractic (SRFC) for 14 years. Dr. Haltinner conceived of Sojourns as means of achieving a broader and farther-reaching impact on the health care delivery system locally and regionally.
Sojourns serves people of all ages providing treatment for acute and chronic problems affecting all body systems. We offer treatment and support for: pediatric and geriatric conditions, acute imbalances, chronic conditions, life-threatening illnesses and conditions and general wellness and lifestyle concerns.
Our client-centered, integrated, wellness-based approach combined with our commitment to education, community outreach and economic accessibility help define our clinic as an innovator in healthcare delivery. I was frustrated because my Dr kept giving me more prescriptions every time I saw him. I was not getting better. I went to Sojorns & for once I felt like they were actually listening to me. I have been going for at least 5 years now & im getting around really well. My walking & overall health has improved greatly. Thank God for them!

Office staff is just incredibly incompetent. If you need them to get your records for you, don't bother, just get them yourself. If they are supposed to be following up, assume they will not. Good luck to you if you want to get into PT, it takes months, they only schedule you every 2 weeks and then if you miss an appointment (because you are tryin not to give people covid) you can kiss the next 6 weeks of appointments goodbye too, because their PT assistant can't see you on her license if the PT hasn't seen you within a certain amount of time, and of course the PT is booking out for months so you can't get in for an appointment in the mean time.

I have been unable to walk without a significant limp (which is of course now causing a host of other body problems) and unable to do my job since September and apparently that is just not a big deal to them. Top that off with having to see the doctor and pay my copay 5 times for everything that needs to be done by their office because no one will respond to my emails or messages and I am just done with the entire office. It's a shame, because I like the Doctor I see there, but it's not worth the hassles.

We adore Sojourns! They go above and beyond to support our family, and listen to our concerns. And they follow up and check in. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. It is worth driving an hour each direction for us to go there. And my kids love them!

These people literally almost killed me. I can't believe I believed their crazy stuff. I had cancer and they led me down every path but conventional medicine. This place should be shut down for perpetuating pseudoscience. Their homeopathy, naturopathic, and holistic approach is based on no scientific evidence and nearly killed me. Homeopathic preparations are not effective for treating any condition.

If I didn't go out and get a second opinion I would literally be dead because of these people. They convinced me for the longest time that just more herbal medicine would fix me. They couldn't have been more wrong. Expect a lawsuit.
