Dr. Tim and Shaw at Tahoe City Chiro are the best in town! I've been seen by Tim for over a year now to manage back and neck pain as well as chronic migraines and I am so grateful for his service! Dr. Tim is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and has a natural and instinctive healing touch. He provides amazing adjustments, advice, exercise tips and other healing modalities to bring the body back to balance.

He is very open to you asking for what your body needs and telling him when something is still not right. Tahoe City Chiro is like family to everyone and they really will help your body heal and recover.

Hands down one of the best doctors I have ever been to. And I have had the privilege of going to some of the best doctors in the country. He is incredibly effective and very kind.

Thrilled to finally make it here. I have a Chiro in the Bay and a place in Tahoe. Bummed I never came to this place when I lived right around the corner! Dr. Tim Schroeder offers multiple types of adjustments, which is great. I prefer being manually adjusted with the pleasing pops. Activator for my jaw. It was very easy to schedule, and to make last minute changes.

The staff is all very nice and accommodating. I've always had luck with mountain town doctors, dentists, etc. and I certainly was happy going here. Your first get-to-know you session is about an hour and each session after could be as short as 15 minutes. I went two days in a row for this awful tingling/numbing in my left arm. He found some good spots and used a massage took around my shoulders where the pain was radiating. Definitely recommend this place for anyone that needs an adjustment. I plan on keeping both chiros consistently throughout my year. They take Cigna at minimum!

Went to see Dr. Tim for a lower shoulder issue from the gym yesterday. I walk out feeling 100 percent better after some cold laser treatment and a adjustment. Exactly what I needed to feel better and ease the pain. Thanks Tim!

Dr. Alix Crone at Tahoe City Chiropractic is a fantastic chiropractor. She helped me with a shoulder injury back in May that I've had for years. After several sessions with her, my shoulder feels just as good now as it did when I was back in college. It's currently Oct and everything still feels great. I can even participate in CrossFit without feeling pain afterwards - something that was not possible before.

Her friendly demeanor also always made me feel very comfortable in her clinic. If you have any old injuries or nagging pains, or need any type of chiropractic care, I would highly recommend you make an appointment with her. Thank you, Dr. Crone!

Dr. Alix is awesome! She was able to see me last minute after a fall on the slopes. She was very attentive and professional, highly recommended!

I came in to Tahoe from Los Angeles and my husband hurt his back while working out towards the end of his trip. We decided to take him to the chiropractor for his first visit. We looked up Tahoe City Chiropractic and saw they had good reviews, so we decided to check it out. My husband got Dr. Lauren Crone as his chiropractor and not only did she fix his back but she was extremely personable, fun and enthusiastic.

We visited on back to back days and she remembered nearly every aspect of our 45 minute conversation including the injury, how it occurred, what our travels plans are and various fun side conversations we had with her while my husband was getting adjusted. Next time we come to Tahoe, we will come in injury free for another adjustment and a good time in the process! I went in for an issue with my low back. Dr Tim did a great job of analysis and adjusted my hip and mid back. I felt better the next day.

Dr. Tim has been my trusted chiropractor for years now, so it's high time I wrote a review. Tim has the qualities I demand in a health care provider (and which are so frustratingly hard to find): thoughtfulness and careful listening combined with experience and skill. Like anyone, I just want results: to see my issues heal quickly and to stay problem-free for long stretches of time. Tim has helped me to achieve that.

He has treated my various maladies very effectively and has given me excellent advice on a range of health-related topics. Tim is a chiropractor who truly wants you to get better and stay better. He is not one of those "come in every week for the rest of your life so I can pay for my new Lexus" chiropractors. He is happiest when he doesn't see you for long stretches.

This has been my experience. Tim is a curious lifelong-learner type of person, which means that he does not just sit back on old assumptions or things he learned 20 or 30 years ago. This translates into a potent blend of 'best practices' in his office. For example, Tim effectively applies modern tools alongside ancient traditional remedies, often in the same session.

In this vein, Tim has a wide range of interests, talents, and knowledge that he imparts as needed to assist in healing. He can be much more than 'just' a chiropractor, if you wish him to be. Tim has noticed and treated issues that my Western doctor missed or dismissed, with great benefit to my everyday quality of life. Tahoe City Chiropractic saved my vacation! After a truly stupid accident on the ski slopes that left me in too much pain to ski, Dr. Schroeder (Dr. Tim) used all kinds of techniques I'd never experienced before to get me back on the slopes the next day. I've used chiropractic all my life and this is the best and fastest recovery I've ever had, from one of the most painful injuries.

He also set me up with a routine of exercises for a shoulder I'd separated earlier in the year to strengthen smaller stabilizing muscles, without even being asked to. He just noticed the problem and said, "This'll probably help you out." It made me want to move to Tahoe permanently! His support staff was also extremely professional and pleasant.

Dr. Tim was fantastic. my back went out the night before due to swim the Trans-Tahoe relay. I called on my drive up from Bay Area and was able to get a same day appointment. He was immediately able to address my issue and take away any concerns about a bigger back issue. He also suggested a massage the following day with Stephanie in his office. She was also fantastic. Felt so lucky to have found them.

Dr. Tim is the absolute best! I had disabling pain in my back and didn't know what to do.he had me functional again in 1 day and great in three. He is very knowledgeable and thorough--very clear with his description of what was wrong and the healing process. I am going to keep him in my regular health routine for sure. Plus Shaw is probably the nicest person on the planet and is a perfect addition to anyone's day and for the office!

I woke up this morning with a migraine and since I am not home but on vacation in Tahoe I wasn't sure what to do. All I knew is that I needed a chiropractor and I needed one quickly. I of course turned to YELP and found Dr. Tim at Tahoe City Chiropractic. They were so accommodating, I was able to get a same day appointment and the adjustment was just what I needed.

My husband hurt his back on vacation. We called and they were able to get us in right away. Just after the adjustment he immediately started to feel better. We live 3 hours away. If his back goes out again we will make a 3 hours drive to fix it. Best chiropractor we have seen.

I had come to Tahoe for a vacation and missed a step on my walkway and knocked myself out of alignment. I phoned and set up an appointment to get re-aligned. They saw my right away and the visit went well. The doctor felt my back and found it was out if alignment and proceeded to fix it. Dr. Tim and his amazing staff literally provided NFL class treatment. Within 75 min. of injuring my calf skiing I was receiving treatment. I had 3 days before a ski demo exam and Dr. Tim and his massage therapists created a daily treatment regimen, provided both traditional and eastern techniques to accelerate my recovery and treated me on a daily basis right up to the exam.

When I originally entered the office I could not put pressure on my leg to stand, 3 days later I was able to pass my ski demo exam. I am continuing my treatment to get to 100%. Without Dr Tim I would have lost 8 weeks of ski training preparing for the demo exam.

Dr Tim and his staff did a diving catch and saved me from missing a Ski Demo exam. I injured my calf at Squaw and I was getting treatment within 75 min! Dr Tim pulled out all the stops and treated me four days straight with a variety of techniques and I have recovered enough to take and pass the demo exam. On my own, I would have been on my back for 2 weeks but Dr. Tim did it in four days. I am also preparing for Lake Tahoe Ironman and Dr Tim is my goto Dr to get me ready!

Dr Tim got me back on track each and every time and is my go to guy for the aches and pains that boardercross (and parenthood and life) have left behind.
