Services
Bioenergetic therapy blends traditional psychotherapy with a body-oriented approach. Based on the connection between mental, emotional and physical health, Bioenergetic therapy focuses on freeing blocks to the natural flow of energy in the body. Symptoms of unhappiness and stress such as insomnia, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, or decreased sexuality can be linked to chronic body tensions which inhibit energy flow. Over time, chronic tensions, often out of our awareness, can also lead to physical disease such as heart attacks, ulcers, and headaches.
Do you seek more intimacy in your life - either through a loving relationship or more connection with family and/or friends? This workshop is for people seeking all types of intimacy, to clarify what you seek and to work through blocks of having what you desire. We will build a community of support to explore your desires, your beliefs, and your messages about intimacy. We will focus on your boundaries, both setting limits and reaching out, along with the actions you may need to take to have more of what you want.
Connecting with the Body: The frontier linking psychotherapy, social change and spirituality. Helping clients connect more fully with themselves, especially with their bodies, lies at the frontier of psychotherapy. Therapists have a unique opportunity to guide clients in deepening connection with themselves (their body, mind, and emotions) and with others.
