Dr. Joyce Battaglia provides chiropractic care without twisting or jerking the neck or back. She is Webster technique certified for prenatal care. Dr. Battaglia's non-twisting techniques include Activator, Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), Logan Basic, Torque Release, Thompson, Palmer Package, and Impulse adjusting instrument. Dr. Battaglia has been serving Huntersville and the Lake Norman area since 1997.Pregnancy is very stressful on a mother's low back, pelvis and spine. Low back pain, sciatica, pelvic and hip pain are common conditions during pregnancy and typically can be treated with chiropractic care.

Dr. Battaglia received her North Carolina Chiropractic license in 1996 and has been serving Huntersville, NC and the Lake Norman area since 1997. She is a Cum Laude graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. In addition, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Dr. Battaglia provides individualized care and doesn't overbook her schedule. Please arrive on time or a few minutes early for your appointment. You will typically be seen by Dr. Battaglia promptly. We respect your time and want to make sure that you and Dr. Battaglia are not rushed during your care.

I tried two other Chiropractors in the area before I was lucky enough to find Dr. Battaglia. I am not comfortable with the typical twisting and the harsh snap like adjustments used by so many chiropractors. Dr. Battaglia uses various types of low pressure adjustments which have been extremely successful for my issues. Plus, you don't have to sign up for a series of appointments like so many other offices. You make an appointment as needed. My experience? 5 Big Stars!

I've had an excellent experience at Lakeside Chiropractic. Dr. Joyce has done a great job fixing my neck pain, and also has equipped me with the proper habits and exercises to keep me healthy. This helped me to get back into target archery, which I really enjoy but haven't been able to do in a while.
