WHAT A GREAT FEELING! I came to class in a frazzled huff. My mind wasn't ready. My body didn't feel ready. But when I entered the hot room, that outer layer of doubt melted away. Hilary led us through the series and I found my body cooperating and then leveling up to my mood, which was improving with each droplet of sweat, each millimeter of flexibility.
I've been a member for over 12 years and still, each class I take offers me something new. This yoga is one of the most satisfying experiences for me and I would say to anyone who might be on the fence about coming to class: COME TO CLASS! You will feel better than you imagined once it's done and you'll come back for more. Thank you PHYSTL!

I have come back to this studio during many different season and I always feel welcomed, supported, and energized during my experiences. I appreciate the ways they support me to take care of my physical health, while remembering how important my mental and emotional health is as well. It truly is a place for me to sweat out life stresses, practice de-escalating my nervous system, and come back to the center of myself. thank you to all the team members at Pure Hot Yoga!

Highly recommend this studio for many reasons. The staff are very friendly. The instructors are knowledgeable and engaging. The studio itself is always clean, Covid safe, and set up at the perfect temperature and humidity for the ultimate hot yoga experience. I have been practicing at Pure Hot Yoga St Louis for years and can honestly say that it has helped me achieve much quality of life by helping me develop my body mind and soul. More than a just yoga studio, come check it out and you will enjoy the yoga community/family that I appreciate so much.

Wonderful community of students and instructors. Instructors are knowledgable, friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. These classes help me with arthritis, anxiety, chronic joint and other issues as well as helping me to both relax and recharge! Highly recommend- by far my favorite yoga studio in St. Louis (that's saying a lot as there are many wonderful studios here!)

This studio has entirely changed my life and mindset in the last 9 months of practice. I never thought I would be able to withstand the heat, but it has helped me work through so many injuries. I also really appreciate their text services with reminders about classes you have signed up for! It helps keep me accountable to my practice.

Absolutely love Pure Hot Yoga STL! Every single one of the instructors is knowledgeable, welcoming, challenging (in the best way) and professional. They each add their own personality to the classes and I love them all. They all learn your name from the very start and that just adds to the warm and welcome feel of the studio. This place has quickly become a favorite spot of mine. Also an important mention is that it is very clean. Thanks Erin and Carol for creating such a high quality hot yoga studio/environment.

I've been attending classes for the past few weeks and it's been my favorite yoga studio. I've attended other hot yoga studios, and have found the classes distracting with music and frills. Pure Hot sticks to the more traditional bikram method which I like! As a contrast to the more still and regimented yoga class, they also have the IHP Pilates class which has music and is a lot of fun. It includes high intensity interval training and is an amazing a full body workout. I love attending both classes.

Pure hot yoga is hands-down the very best yoga in St. Louis. I took my first class 11 years ago and continue to attend at least 3 classes a week. I have RA, it's been my saving grace. I can move without pain, it's medicine. The owners and every single teacher are there to help and guide you in the kindest way. The minute you walk in the door you can feel connected. The studio is over the top clean! They go above and beyond with all safety precautions. Get in there.

Best yoga studio in St. Louis! Seriously this place is amazing. Great vibe, great instructors and hot classes! Traditional bikram style classes, but I loved that it was great for beginner and advanced yogis! Also love their inferno hot Pilates classes to really get my muscles burning! The classes really complement each other.

This studio has really gone above and beyond during the pandemic to ensure yoga classes were available and safe. The instructors really care and have so much passion about yoga and fitness. Plus, when you spend money here, you're reinvesting money back into the local community since this is a small, local, and woman owned business. The fitness classes have changed my body composition and I feel stronger and less squishy since I started classes 4-6 months ago. Overall, I this place is worth checking out.

Pure has been one of the best things I have done for my physical, mental, and emotional health. The yoga and pilates definitely cover the physical health. When you are in class - you don't have to think, just be present with yourself, and breath - which is great for mental and emotional health. Lastly, the community is amazingly supportive and positive and that helps with mental and emotional health too!
They have done an exceptional job keeping the studio clean and safe during the pandemic and have communicated with everyone throughout it. I would recommend anyone to come here to better their life!

I haven't practiced in over a year and I am so glad I went back! I have been doing triathlons for the past five years. The practice is not for everybody. If you want to be challenged, sweat, detoxify your body, and get HIGH from yoga then this is your place. So glad to be back and my body has thanked me.

I did the 60 minute hot class with Erin and loved it! My mom also goes to this studio and she tells me all the time about how amazing it is and how hot yoga has changed her body-- I can see why now! It was also very clean, and the room was very spacious. Their hot yoga classes are truly amazing, and I can't wait to go back this week:

I've been lucky enough to have re- joined this studio a few months ago (I had previously belonged but needed to stop for 1.5 years due to some health issues). The environment that has been created by the studio owners is wonderful! The culture focuses on healing, wellness, and growth. I've found all the instructors to be amazingly supportive and very patient with a newbie like myself.
The community of "yogis" :) is tremendous and from all different walks of life and backgrounds. We are all supportive of one-another and care about each other's well being This is a hard practice, there is no doubt. But the benefits are certainly worth the effort. The team has also just started an inferno Pilates class. I have not attended but I have heard great reviews. I highly recommend this studio to people of all levels!

I'm liking Pure Hot Yoga as a part of my workout routine. The instructors and nice and the classes follow the standard Bikram Yoga format in either a 60 or 90 minute class. They also offer a specialty class twice a week, High Intensity Interval Training, that I haven't tried yet. The class times offer a good mix, but I do wish they had a few more classes on the weekends.
My only negative, is the small-ish locker room. It has two small benches, and there is always that one guy who likes to sprawl out on one of the benches after class and proceed to chat with everyone. It's already cramped in there, and everyone else is nearly tripping over each other to get to their bags.

Starting with the good: The front desk lady was welcoming and friendly, the locker rooms clean, and the other patrons were very kind. The things I didn't necessarily agree with: being told to lock the knees (as opposed to engaging the muscles around the knee to encourage proper support), and being told that "being dizzy is okay". Passing out during yoga is never okay.
I also question the hygiene of their mats - the one I borrowed was so funky I gagged when we went belly down for back stretches. Straight up? I wouldn't go back. It was 65 minutes of lackluster instruction peppered with 25 minutes of meandering storytelling, all for a $25 drop in fee. Bikram can be a powerful and wonderful yoga practice, but maybe not here.

Took a couple 90 minute classes with Charles and Liz while visiting St. Louis. Great vibe in the studio, hot juicy classes to help me reset and detox from a week of travel and long hours on the plane. The classes were well instructed and very positive. Women's room had several showers and was quite spacious. Definitely come try out this studio!

I've been doing hot yoga for a few years now and this place is professional, CLEAN and has one of the most beautiful studios I have ever been in. You couldn't ask for better instructors- IIf you suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritis or anxiety/depression. Yoga can change your life. Sure it is a little expensive, but sign up for the monthly and make the commitment. You will not regret it.

I was visiting St. Louis for two days and took the 5 pm class. I called the night before, and the gal said it that class is a popular timeslot, but the studio was not uncomfortably packed. The front desk team was super friendly and the teacher delivered the dialogue and further instruction, so despite having practiced Bikram for 8 years, I still walked away with new information.
Nice vibe among the local yogis, everyone was very friendly. Mat and towel are on the house for your first visit. The women's changing room had three showers and was very clean, as was the studio.

I attended classes here 2-3 times a month for about 6 months. I always took classes on different days and times, and had a wide range of instructors. Drop-in classes were about 20 bucks a pop. I came in with a good amount of yoga experience. Overall I have nothing negative to say about this place. It is a well-run operation. The space has always been clean, the people who work there are always nice, and the classes are reliable and generally well-attended, but not too crowded.
Their classes are all pretty much the same, based on the Bikram sequence of postures and done in a hot room. The instructors seem to have a basic script they follow. There is no music played in the classes. They also discourage chit-chat in the studio before classes start. I appreciate this because the quiet time lets me get more zoned in. The only real variety in classes is that they offer a 90-minute (traditional) and 60-minute (power).
They are both pretty much the same, the power is just a condensed version of the traditional. Overall this place is not your typical yoga studio, the vibe is more of a fitness class. For the most part the instructors don't give hands-on instruction. If you are brand new they will keep an eye on you and offer more assistance.

I've been to a number of yoga studios, and this one is just alright. I went to the 90 minute Bikram Yoga class, and I really did like the instructor. She was very technical and attentive. I enjoyed the class itself. However, the room was absolutely packed and I could barely find a spot, and I found the facility as a whole to not be very sanitary.
There was sweat all over the floor in the hallways and locker rooms, so I had to trek barefoot through everyone's sweat before I could reach my shoes. They didn't have a water fountain which I thought was odd for a hot yoga studio. I also asked if they had spray to wipe down my mat and they said no. which I also found to be odd. All in all, a positive (and tough) workout, but not my favorite place to practice.

This is my first hot yoga experience thanks to Groupon, and I am definitely not disappointed. Things I like: seeing the same familiar faces, everyone is friendly, nice facilities, the instructors really keep an eye on you during your first few classes, and an amazing workout with good pep talks from JJ. Reason for not giving it 5 stars. There isn't much variation in the sessions unless you have different instructors.
This could just be a Bikram yoga thing or it could just be this group. Not a huge deal, but something worth mentioning. I also feel it can be difficult at times to ask a question during class or even afterwards since there's usually another class right after yours. Overall, I would (and do) encourage my friends to try this place out as well as the hot yoga workout. I don't know if I will continue with classes once my groupon expires, however, I am happy that I bought this deal.

Newly renovated! This Bikram studio is very clean with no funk, and the heat and humidity are always perfect thanks to a new environmental system. Instructors use the standard Bikram verbiage and a stopwatch to keep time in poses honest. The classes are consistently released on-time and there are lots of class times so it is easier to fit into your schedule. What's nice is you can start for 30 days unlimited (that's what I did) for only $40.
I can tell you that after these 30 days (go daily for the most dramatic results) your face will be happier, your emotions less volatile, and your body oh so much more toned. This is the place to improve self-confidence and overall zest via heated torture chamber.

So, Bikram Yoga isn't for people who want a light exercise. It is a hard core ninety minute moving meditation. What does that mean? It means you are getting a full cardio workout at 105 degrees at 40% humidity. Translation: you barely can breathe so you really have to concentrate. With that in mind, if you wanna try Bikram, I highly recommend this studio.
The staff is extremely friendly and they do a great job explaining the movements. The people that come here cover a huge array. So, if you are just starting, don't worry. There are plenty of others here too. They have quite a few seasoned vets as well. I would definitely brig your own mats, towels, and water bottle. Borrowing anything for a day is about $2 each and that really adds up over time. Also, they have a great new student special - $40 bucks for a month of unlimited yoga. If you don't like it, you can just stop. No catch whatsoever.

I recently moved to the neighborhood, and was unimpressed with most of the area gym offerings (Brentwood Club Fitness has no classes, you have to pay extra for classes at the Heights, etc.), so I figured I would give Bikram Yoga a try with their new student special. You really cannot beat the price of the new student special. $40 for an unlimited month of yoga is a steal compared to the typical $119 auto-renew price. Bikram Yoga in general is no joke.
I ended up loving the feeling of leaving class, feeling like I ran a marathon without even stepping into a light jog. You'll sweat more than you ever thought possible (however much you think you'll sweat, triple that) and your heart will race as you progress through the 26 poses. Important to note that Bikram has a lot of rules. And while many of them are to the benefit of your practice, (absolutely no late entry to the practice room, leave all of your belongings in the locker room, etc.) it would be nice if some were a bit flexible.
For example, don't you dare think of touching that water bottle before the first three poses are complete or unless it is a break between poses. Since you are not allowed to leave the practice room during the 90 minute class unless you're about to have a medical emergency, you would like to think you wouldn't get scolded if you feel like you really need a sip of H20! It's 105 degrees in there after all.
If you can stick to the rules and the practice (they recommend getting at least 10 sessions in during your month to reap the benefits), you will see your capabilities progress and be shocked with how good your body feels after each additional visit. They never published a schedule that included names of instructors which I thought was a shame. I understand that they feel that all their instructors are wonderful, but if you enjoy or tend to have better practices with one or two particular instructors, what's the harm? Overall, if you haven't tried Bikram, Bikram St. Louis is a great place to get started. If it wasn't for the cost, I would definitely have returned after my month of Bikram experimentation.

My visit was the first time I had tried Bikram, so it was intense. I've done a different form of hot yoga and thought I sort of new what to expect, but was wrong-not in a bad way though. I was generally impressed with the facility and teacher. She really knew what she was doing and could really motivate the class to do well. The only complaint I have is that it smelled awful in there. I'm used to another studio that isn't carpeted, so that was definitely a shock.
That is literally the only bad thing about this place. I was so sore after the class and really felt like I got my money's worth! The deal for new students is awesome too-$40 for a unlimited month is such a great deal.

AMAZING! My first time ever doing Bikram yoga was here. I did the beginner special of $40 for the first month. My month just ended, and I am SO sad. I will be leaving for the summer but will absolutely resume classes here when the fall semester begins! The price is hefty (especially as a student) but I think it is totally worth it. Hot yoga is unlike any workout I've done before.
Some of the teachers are better than others. The good ones are AMAZING and the other ones are only so-so. None are horrible. The good ones will give you direction and constructive criticism on how to improve your posture as well as praise. Rebecca is my personal favorite teacher, and I wish they posted teacher schedules on their website. I've NEVER had a bad experience here or enjoyed working out more.
Even if I want to die during class, it is SUCH a rewarding workout. I am absolutely converted. Anxious about finding a place near my home but excited to return to Bikram Yoga St. Louis in August

I have never been so rudely treated and by a yoga studio no less. I have practiced Bikram all over the US, I practive 6 days a week in LA, and even volunteered at the studio when I lived in Austin. I have never in my life walked out of a yoga studio in tears and these were not tears of relief, tears of fristration and anger. When someone is outrightly rude to me for no reason, I take it personally.
I was so excited to get a class in on my Christmas vacation while visiting my grandmother and to experience a new studio, I was so wrong. This studio didn't center me, if brought upheaval into my day and life.
