I've suffered from chronic back pain for my entire life. I played college football for Azusa Pacific University and my career was ended after my 2nd lumbar surgery. After 3 acupuncture sessions the sciatica I've been dealing with for a decade has subsided and my quality of life is much better. Also aided in me losing around 20lbs. It was a great experience.

I love Acupuncture Plus. Dr. Bolz is super kind and compassionate and a great listener. I love having a place to "quiet my mind" and be still for 30-45 minutes.that's a plus and in addition to the treatment I'm getting for my condition. Tyler is super nice as well!

I began to see the acupuncturist because of an injury. The acupuncture provided temporary relief from my pain. Because of my experience, I suggested that my 20 year old son visit this acupuncturist despite the cost. He was hesitant because he had gone to a different acupuncturist that was less expensive and not effective. He had been to numerous Kaiser specialists and still they couldn't figure out what the problem was with his arm/hand. Luckily, my son decided to visit Dr. Bolz.

I am eternally grateful for her discovery. She noticed that my son had a cancerous tumor and advised him to be seen immediately by his medical doctor. Fortunately, the Kaiser surgeon removed the cancer and surrounding lymph nodes from this thyroid/neck. After his surgery, the pain in his hand/arm subsided. Turns out that the original pain was caused by the growing malignant tumor pressing on the nerve. I highly recommend Dr. Bolz!

I've been having some medical issues the last few years and have seen many doctors and specialist doctors. No one has been able to help. I've been seeing Dr. Bolz for a little over a month and all ready I'm feeling much better. I'm off all my medications but three, I was on ten. I highly recommend acupuncture plus. Tyler at the front desk is always helpful and friendly, Dr. Bolz is extremely intelligent and explains things in Layman's terms and is extremely Thorough with her exams, notes and making sure she is doing proper diagnosis and treatment of me.

I don't have lots of money by any means but I make it work because this has been such a big help and what good is money if your health isn't good? I've tried cheaper places and the saying 'you get what you pay for', is true to this day. The other place wasn't worth one red cent. I'm very grateful for all that dr. Bolz has already been able to do for me.

My daughter just went there and was shocked that the herbs she was given worked instantly to relieve her pain. I love the eastern medicine approach Western medicine just seems to want to make everyone addicted to their never ending supply of pills that all have awful side effects.

I went here to make an initial appointment. She charged an outrageous amount! Mix that with the condescending attitude from her and her receptionist- I obviously did not schedule anything with her. I've used acupuncture for various things always using a local acupuncturist wherever I live. I regularly visit another acupuncturist in Vacaville for a fraction of the price without all the drama and snotty attitude. I've never been gouged for acupuncture, not even in the Bay Area. Go see another acupuncturist in Vacaville.

So if you're skeptical of this kind of treatment like I was deep inside I was hoping it would work but wasn't expecting much. I'm definitely a believer and proof that acupuncture actually works and works well. I have so many things wrong and when I go I absolutely get pain relief from my once a week treatment. I have been going now for 6 months and I look forward to my treatments.

I drive 20 -30 minutes to come to Dr Bolz as she came highly recommend as I too recommend her. Dr. Bolz has a great energy and Tyler her assistant is always friendly and willing to help with scheduling or for me rescheduling. Not sure how I'm going to get through the next few weeks as she will be gone. If Dr. Bolz is able to help me with my pain I'm pretty sure she will be able to help you with your pain needs.

Shihan Bolz is amazing! I studied martial arts and Macrobiotic cooking under her a while back. If there ever was a perfectionist it is her. Everything she does is as close to perfection as the human condition permits. I have not experienced her Acupuncture yet but I know it will be amazing. I need to stop in Vacaville on the way to Sacramento and see her and hopefully Shihan Nishiuchi as well. They are Amazing people

My family acupuncturist and herbalist. She usually has a wait list of several days to a week, and first time visits may take planning - she is in high demand and way too busy for someone to just drop in. For that, you might have to go elsewhere - there are others in town, but I have no idea if they are as good or as well-educated in the art (she is a doctor in the field, not just an acupuncturist).

I doubt they have all the raw herbs she keeps to make traditional formulas that you cook at home, as well as a small supply of macrobiotic cooking items. You can also get training in Japanese swords (iaido) on Saturdays from Shihan Nishiuchi.

Dr Bolz has my highest recommendation. A professional holistic practitioner who dedicates her life to the healing of others. She is a bright light who approaches her patients with respect, humor and compassion. She can help you.

Dr. (Shihan) Bolz, L.Ac., DAOM is warm and caring and takes a holistic approach to her diagnosis and treatment. I have experienced 10+ acupuncture sessions with her. Always professional and patient focused. That is important as she is constantly busy, yet shuts it all down to be present for you. My first acupuncture, so no comparison. Dr. Bolz has successfully treated my very severe back, neck and shoulder pain in the past. Today I had a cast removed from my broken hand and still experienced soreness and pain from the injury. Plus portions of my hand were numb. I went directly to Dr. Boltz and received acupuncture treatment. After the treatment, numbness and soreness was gone. I could articulate my fingers more fully without cramping or pain. Dr. Bolz knew exactly where and how to treat the injured hand.

As always, I'm totally satisfied. I will continue to receive treatment from Dr. Bolz weekly throughout my rehabilitation. Dr. Bolz is very methodic and meticulous with diagnosis and treatment. This ensures positive results.

I have been going to Dr (Shihan) Bolz. I have for years suffered sinus problems I do not have consent sinus pain anymore. I also suffer back pain which I have seeked chiropractic for years Dr Bolz has on several occasions helped reduce my pain now I seldom have flare ups like I used to I no longer go to a chiropractor. I highly recommend Dr. Bolz and her practice. She initially treated me for migraines over a year ago and I have not had one since. I went back to her after almost 2 years, not for migraines, for peri-menospausal issues, thyroid and a nerve issue caused by surgery. She was so wonderful and understanding. No judgement, just understanding and a desire to improve life. Very knowledgeable and warm.

This was my first experience with acupuncture. It was very relaxing, and painless. I wish I could say that I would be back, but after I chose not to buy the $40 herbal tea, (weekly price for tea) Dr. Bolz actually asked if I was "scared" of the herbs. I explained that I was on a limited budget, and really wanted to stick with the acupuncture only.

When I told her this, she said, "Well, then I don't think I can help you. The tea is very important, and without them you are wasting your money on acupuncture". I felt very pressured to pay a lot of money for Chinese herbs I know nothing about. I like to know what I'm putting into my body before doing so, and I felt extremely offended when she said I was scared, rather than smart for wanting to educate myself before purchasing and consuming the herbs; I will not be back.

Dr. Bolz has successfully treated me for allergies, headaches, and for pain after a wisdom tooth extraction. She is an incredibly intuitive healer, and really does what she can to educate her patients on their conditions and how to heal themselves. She also prescribes raw herbal decoctions, customized for each client, even each visit. I'd recommend her to anyone in Vacaville or the surrounding areas, for anything that ails them.
