With a Bachelor's degree in computer programming, Parula also adds keen capability for how technology can enhance operations and create expanded communication resources for patients.
Ashish Sitapara, MD founded Signature Medicine in 2006 as an alternative to today's reactive primary care medicine. He completed a fellowship at Boston University Medical Center and served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School and Hebrew Rehabilitation Center for the Aged, also known as Hebrew SeniorLife.
Concierge medicine is a reinvention of primary care medicine. It provides medical care with more personalized attention that you get with the bulk-service physician industry. We take fewer primary care patients, so that each one has better access to Dr. Sitapara and the rest of our medical staff. Our program blends a holistic therapy with more traditional primary medical care to offer the best possible outcomes. The focus of concierge medicine is on lifestyle issues such as prevention, early detection, and nutrition.
The concept of a family practice doctor, as we know it now, is rather new. For most of our modern history, the doctor was someone connected with the family. The doctor knew their patients. My mom is 92 years old and has been a patient of Dr. Sitapara for over 10 years. She actually enjoys going to her visits with him at Signature Medicine. We have been seeing Dr. Ashish Sitapara for five years, now. All of our previous doctors pale in comparison to Dr. Sitapara. He is so so intelligent, so well-informed, so pleasant, so responsive. He never makes us feel rushed and he never minimizes our health concerns. I cannot imagine having primary health care from anyone else.

I've been seeing Dr. Sitapara for over 8 years. Having seen many physicians over almost 30 years of adulthood, I've found Dr. Sitapara to be the most thoughtful and thorough among them. He always spends meaningful time with me during each appointment.never in a rush to see the next patient. We also discuss anything and everything on my mind. Another plus is that the office staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Sitapara and his practice.

Dr Sitapara and the team are a highly competent team who clearly care beyond the usual "this is a patient with a problem." The atmosphere from when you walk in the door to when you say good day is the same friendly, caring level. Even Dr Sitapara who is clearly very busy, is friendly and comfortable. I came to Signature Medicine at the suggestion of a friend from my church men's group.
I first received a through physical and a detailed description of what they could do, as well as what they could not do. I have an eye tearing condition that Dr Sitpara assessed and sent me to a specialist. When that diagnosis did not seem reasonable, he sent me to another specialist who had a different assessment and program. Dr Sitapara agreed that seemed more reasonable and I was told, " We are gong with this doctor." He talked as if he were me and reached the immediate decision of what we were going to do. Very clear and very comfortable about how we would proceed.
