Fang Mu pronounced Fahng Moo was born in the capital of China NW province of Xin Jiang, not far from the Russian border. Her interest in Chinese medicine was sparked early in life, when her mother developed a herniated lumbar disk shortly after Fang 12th birthday, paralyzing both her legs from the waist down.

I had been to an acupuncture service elsewhere in Greensboro a few years ago and was not impressed. So when I was in need for this again I found Mu Chinese Acupuncture close to home. WOW! Mu Chinese Acupuncture is Amazing! My pain was alleviated immensely and the herbs help also. I can't wait for my next session. I recommend Dr. Mu if you need to have acupuncture service. This is the real deal :-

Such relief after just one session from low back pain! Dr. Mu is knowledgeable, warm and friendly and her practice is so efficient and on point. She was able to successful treat my chronic back pain in two sessions! I'm so happy to have found her and would recommend Mu Acupuncture & Herbs to everyone.

Dr. Mu healed my arthritic pain from athletic injuries in my early 30s in my knee/ankle in 6 sessions and shoulder in 4, after 15+ years of suffering when nothing else worked. My knee would constantly pop out of joint, and I couldn't run at all or hike w/o pain. Shoulder pain and limitation of motion kept me from swimming. At 55, I now swim 1 mile every other day and trail run 5K or bike 10mi on the off days.no brace, no limitation, no pain. She is the bomb!

Dr Mu is amazing! I had been dealing with an injury for two years, and had seen several doctors and physical therapists about the issue. After the first session, I could tell immediate results. After four sessions, I am a new person! I am able to exercise again, and cannot thank Dr. Mu enough. She goes right to the root of the problem and is thorough and professional. I highly recommend her services.

I had Bell's palsy a few years back and I freaked out when my doctor told me it would take months to go away. Half my face was paralyzed, one of my eyes wouldn't shut completely and it was always dry. I even lost my sense of taste Dr Fang Mu is so kind and help me get through that difficult time. I noticed a hug difference after the first visit. Now I go once every few months to get acupuncture and I'm not sure what she does but whatever it is works. I feel so good afterwards and as they days go by. Thank you

I had been looking for a true eastern medicine wholistic body approach for the last 5 years. I was introduced to it in South Korea when I lived there and taught English for a few years. Finding Mu has helped me so much. She can see what needs to be changed and has the experience and expertise to bring you to balance. Unlike western medicine, Mu treats the CAUSE of the problems and not the symptoms. You feel so much better after just a few visits. That is certainly worth the price!

I asked if Fang Mu learned something new, everyday.she replied and said she learns something new with every patient. I've been here for 3 separate reasons. 1st. Pulled back muscle on a Monday, by Wednesday, I couldn't stand up straight or bend over. After arriving, she put about 7 needles in my scalp and told me to bend over and stand up slowly for about 30mins, the pain was slightly less but mobility increased, went back Friday for the same treatment, by Saturday, I was bouncing around like nothing had happened. 2nd.
I was rear ended, neck pain and headache.same treatment to scalp, after two visits, all symptoms were gone. 3rd. Tennis elbow in both arms to the point, I couldn't grip or shake hands, the pain was constant and debilitating. This proved to be trickier to fix but after 3 visits, the pain started to subside. At this point there is no pain or symptoms of any kind.
The history of acupuncture is interesting and has certainly been around a lot longer than western medicine. I think it's a great alternative, but I do believe for some reason there's some mind-over-matter to it. If you do not believe in Chi then you may not get immediate benefits. "As a system of medicine, acupuncture is over 2500 years old, and may have been practiced in China in a rudimentary form 5,000, even 7,000 years ago. The oldest continuously used medical textbook is the "Huang Di Nei Jing" ("Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic")."

Dr. Mu has been a life saver for me and every member of my family over the years. Today I saw her for a back spasm. She checked my pulses and my tongue then said "little bit tension", and put a few needles in my head. She told me to stretch, which I did for about 25 minutes and I could tell the spasm was easing off. Then she did suction cups on my back and that helped even more. I recommend Dr. Mu to many of my clients, as I realize many of my massage clients need more systemic work than I offer. She is the BEST!

I've been coming to Fang Mu Acupuncture since September of 2017 to the present. My pain level has tremendously decreased. I'm receiving treatment for different body parts, both knees, bilateral hips, lower back and right shoulder. The service is above excellent and beyond all my expectations. Dr. Fang Mu is very knowledgeable and takes her work very seriously.
I can tell a difference between treatments and when I'm not getting treatments due to waiting on the VA to reschedule me for more treatments. I prefer to be seen only by Fang Mu Chinese Acupuncture. Before coming here I was getting regular Physical Therapy treatments and wasn't getting the results that I needed. I felt as I was in more pain leaving my treatment than when I came in for treatment. Dr. Fang Mu has not only decreased my chronic pain that I've been living with for over 25 years.
She treats me as if I'm part of her family and not just a patient. Dr. Fang Mu has taught me so much about my body and how to take care of it. She's informed me about my eating habits what to do and not to do to lose weight and to control my diabetes, migraines and high blood pressure. The herbals are wonderful and works. You don't have to take my word just schedule your own appointment and find out for yourself. I recommend that if you're in need of acupuncture you must go to Fang Mu Chinese Acupuncture.
